From Moncks Corner, South Carolina;
Police were called to the Oakley Pointe subdivision on report of a burglary in progress around 8:15 p.m.
Officers found 30-year-old Elijah White Jr., of North Charleston, lying on the sidewalk near 203 Post Oak Court. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Moncks Corner Police Chief Rick Ollic earlier said White is believed to be the suspect involved in the reported burglary. He said investigators determined that the homeowner opened fire during the shooting.
Karma strikes in Los Angeles, California;
A group of four people were leaving the Denny’s and getting inside their car when the man, armed with a gun, robbed them, Goetz said. As the gunman tried to get away, a male victim ran him down with his car and the gunman accidentally shot himself, Goetz said.
Officers discovered the gunman with injuries so severe that it wasn’t clear at first if he was shot, stabbed or sustained another type of injury.

Cause of death….stupidity.
Wow. Two men and two women in the immediate area not counting the gunfighter. Three of them cower under their desk in the fetal (fatal) position and a fourth bolts into the hallway.
And one man fights back!
The gunfighters are a special breed! Damn that dude was fast too!
It’s Illinois. How easy do you think it is for the average person to buy and legally posess a gun? Plus whatever the bank’s policies are.
The bank’s policies, as well as Illinois, are clear.

So, everyone has a choice to make. I personally would never live in a place or work for a company that has those laws or has such policies. I’m grateful that I’ve never had to either.
I am glad it worked out for them this time. Thanks to the gunfighter.
And regardless of them not having a gun, what does the fetal position do for the victims anyway? Hell… at least throw something in the air and haul ass away from, or straight towards, the threat!
That bank isn’t kidding when they say substantial penalty for early withdrawal. He probably needed that money to pay for next semester’s tuition at Johns Hopkins School Of Medicine.

One of the tellers is the fastest to recognize & duck & cover. Judging from the tellers’ actions, that is probably what they were trained to do.
SO Harrison is a little slow recognizing what is going on, but recovers quickly. His foot placement is what causes him to stumble backwards, but he recovers nicely and engages again. It appears that he is aiming every shot, not spraying and praying.
The DRT perp tries to roll away but just makes himself an easy moving target. He had no cover, trapped himself against the counter, and had no way out. That is good lobby design.
Overall a good view of a gun battle with some lessons to be learned.
The jackass in the bank robbery didn’t do a recon to see what the layout was? Maybe he would have picked a different bank. One less idiot junkie in the world.
I am more impressed by the car hit. That was some first rate driving right there. Scored a hit and made him shoot him self.
