KHOU!
I’d suspect both the gentleman who was gunshot and the person identified by the deputies who shot him were involved, and KHOU is there.
Tallahassee hemp store owner says fatal shooting was ‘out of self defense’ during robbery
Elena Barrera
An owner of the Florida Hemp Distribution store, which became the scene of a homicide investigation Friday, says the fatal shooting was “out of self defense” during an attempted robbery. In the hours after Hurricane Helene passed through, the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a shooting at the hemp store located at 220 West Tennessee Street just before 6 p.m.
Co-owner Alex Petrick said two men entered the store and approached the only employee working at the time, forcing the employee to pull out his firearm.
The employee ordered the men to leave.
“Leave, leave. Don’t make me do this,” the employee told the would-be robbers, according to Petrick.
Petrick said the suspect continued to advance toward him until the employee’s back was against the wall and he fired.
Petrick said no other customers or employees were present, and the other man who entered with the suspect fled as soon as he saw the gun.
TPD questioned the employee but released him after several hours, according to Petrick. No charges were brought, he said.

Gee, I wonder if the Tallahassee looters were “migrants” (illegal aliens) looters?
The store clerk did well to shoot when he did.
Another cleaning of the gene pool, another reduction of the welfare rolls and prison population.
When she is no longer into you…MOVE ON! Or you may find something else that is in to you.
When it’s time to shoot…SHOOT!…don’t talk. Wonder what pressing business elsewhere was calling the other perp. Choir practice? I find that a real scream.
Messrs Smith and Wesson still make a fine shooting iron. My ride about today will take me close to one of my favorite toy stores. May have to peruse his inventory, you know…for reasons.
It was on the form, the authorization for firing warning shots was up to the MAJCOM; the next line was, “TAC does not authorize warning shots”. The Tallahassee shooting found a way to do both. Nicely done says I.
Damn, I remember when they BUILT those apartments by the Kroger’s!

When I was at Ft. Lewis doing my two weeks active duty with the Reserves, my roommate was a guy who had been in Somalia (out in the boonies, me thinks) as an M203 grenadier.
