Democrats in CA are pushing racial and gender discrimination
As a sign of just how weird the times we live in are, the Democrats in California are pushing a ballot initiative (Proposition 16) that allows for racial, gender, and other forms of discrimination.
Even vice presidential candidate Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) supports government sanctioned discrimination. According to the ad, if you don’t support racial discrimination, then you’re like one of those Neo-Nazis that marched on Charlottesville. See for yourself;
The video is rife with lies, and spreads the thoroughly debunked lie that women make less than men for the same work. That would be illegal under federal law and has been for decades.
What Prop 16 would do is once again allow state and local government, education, and contracting decisions be influenced by “race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin.” It seeks to repeal Proposition 209, passed by voters in 1996.
Prop 16 is opposed by those who think that racial discrimination is a bad thing, like black civil rights activist Ward Connerly and many Asian American groups in the state. It is interesting though that we have a sitting US Senator and the Democratic Party’s vice presidential candidate in favor of allowing the government to discriminate based on immutable characteristics. I think this might be like when Harris touted a “Harris Administration” in a campaign event last week. She’s saying the quiet part out loud.

Well….what else would you call it when less qualified PoCs are admitted over more qualified Caucasians?
Not all “People Of Color” fall in the affirmative action category, in fact, in the name of “diversity”, a lot of school districts are actively discriminating against Asians because they over represented in Advanced Placement schools.

FFS, give me a break. Giving someone something BECAUSE they are a certain whatever over someone is just as much discrimination. BTDT! For a number of years 73-77, was told unofficially, by a number of companies I couldn’t be hired till the quota of, particularly, black females was filled, because I was a white boy. Was told for a while I couldn’t get into school because there were too many Veterans enrolled. Sen Sam Nunn fixed that…after about 6 months. Then in ’97 – 99 it was the age thing, tho they couldn’t come right out and say, nope you ain’t gonna hire no older white boy. “Overqualified”, “We looking for entry level”, “Someone with less experience”
I don’t give a damn if you are male, female, black, white, red, green, yellow, or purple. If you can do what needs to be done, then you’re hired. But don’t give someone the position JUST because they are a certain shade of “color.”
And the last thing we need is another “law.”

Can they pass legislation to address the disparity of Non People Of Color being underrepresented in professional sports? The commonly cited statistic is that African Americans make up 13% of the US population, yet make up nearly 75% of the NBA. Professional sports need to reserve positions to represent all the various racial and ethnic groups that make up this great land of ours. Imagine being the first Eskimo to break the Ice Barrier in the NBA. He, or she if that is his/her preferred personal pronoun, will be a true inspiration to his/her race.

Washington state had a proposition this past election to overturn the decades long ban on affirmative action. The ban passed in 1998 blocked “preferential treatment to any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity or national origin”.
The left tried to put lipstick on the pig by saying the new proposition would not enforce quotas only “goals”. The new proposition went down in flames.
If the purpose of their propositions is “goals” and not results, why don’t they put propositions making cancer illegal on the ballot?
