Democrats Set to Impeach President Trump

In case President Trump keeps winning, break glass. (Branco/Americans for Limited Government/Creators.com)
Unless something major changes, the Democrats in the House of Representatives are set to vote to impeach President Donald Trump. They plan on impeaching him for the “high crimes and misdemeanors” of “abusing his office” and of “obstructing Congress”.
This vote will happen today, or this evening. The majority of the coverage on this impeachment debate indicates that the Democrats intend to make President Trump the third president to be impeached… The first to be impeached in the 21st century.
As you guys have seen and discussed here, the motivation for this stems from phone calls the president made with his Ukrainian counterpart. Anybody reading those phone call transcripts, with a level head, would not see evidence of a “quid pro quo”. The Democrats argue that President Trump “leveraged foreign aid” in a “bid” to get the Ukrainians to investigate the Bidens.
With the Senate being in Republican hands, President Trump is looking at being acquitted and at remaining in office. However, what if, hypothetically, enough Republicans become “turncoats” and vote for his removal? And what if Joseph Biden becomes the Democratic nominee?
Then the party, that pushed for the removal based on a phony “quid pro quo”, would be pushing to elect someone who actually performed the quid pro quo. Joseph Biden even admitted to threatening to withhold the aid unless the prosecutor is removed.
![](https://i0.wp.com/valorguardians.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Butthurt-is-no-grounds-for-impeachment.jpg?resize=353%2C333&ssl=1)
Not getting one’s way with regards to an election is not valid grounds to get rid of a duly elected president. (r/The_Donald)
Sadly, there are many among the electorate, on the left side of the political spectrum, who believe that President Trump would be removed. Out of those on the left who think he will not be removed, his simply being impeached would be a sort of “victory”… Even “payback” for alleged “trespasses”.
However, President Trump and the Republicans are already setting the stage and doing “battlefield preparation” in advance of a Senate trial. There are differences among Republicans, and between Republican Senators and President Trump. President Trump wants a full trial so that those who are accusing him can be brought to light… And be subject to cross-examination and a fact check scrutiny. There are some Republicans that want to simply go straight to a vote. This would essentially be a “case being thrown out due to lack of evidence”.
For his part, President Trump sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi. Like most here, he knows that this would be futile and would not stop him from being impeached. However, this letter would be a “part of the record”. This is a good move on the President’s part on the account that future generations would not be as “high charged” about this process as folks are today. Fact, reason, and logic would prevail. They would see this the way we see it… A nonsense witch-hunt by a party drunk on narcissism, on the desire for power, and on the desire to fundamentally change the United States to their version of what the U.S. should be.

The left will say, “Aha, Trump goes down in history as an impeached president!” They will conveniently ignore the fact that Democrats disregarded due process and failed to do a diligent investigation. (Branco/LegalInsurrection.com/Creators.com)
His letter is also written to address those who oppose impeachment, as well as those sitting on the fence regarding this issue. Naturally, the media that opposes President Trump dismisses this letter as a “desperate” or “hostile” reaction to the inevitable. They sensationalized it thinking that they smelt blood. But, as with the tweets that he did earlier this year, the letter is worded to get specific media reaction. This improves the chances that additional audiences would be reached… Those who would normally be denied information from the opposing argument. The words in his letter are carefully chosen and used.

Does this mean that Jerry Nadler wants to facilitate political division and to erode the integrity of our political institutions? (Mark Meadows @RepMarkMeadows)
As for Jerrold Nadler, and his push for this impeachment, a look at his arguments against Clinton’s impeachment contradicts his current argument. Hopefully, his arguments are brought up in the Senate trial. If he was serious, in his defense of then-President Clinton, then one has to wonder if this process is being willfully used to erode our democracy.
Thomson Reuters Foundation News provides a summary of what is going on with regard to the impeachment process in this article. You could also read President Trump’s letter on Town Hall. Jerry Nadler sang a different tune, with regards to the impeachment process, when a Democrat was president. You could read his argument, in defense of President Clinton, in the Washington Post.

Trump punches back, hard. Always. He -lands- those punches.
Are folks assuming their nonsense is “no cost”? That Trump wont put -his- considerable investigative tools to work on “rooting out corruption”? You can pull that “its political” crap out of one’s ass, but he -is- charged with enforcing laws, and “opponent of Trump” is not “immune from scrutiny”.
Or from prosecution.
There are plenty of deep-state types to “resist” and to sabotage that effort. But that also plays towards -outing- them, and thus neutralizing them. “I have no faith in your ability or decision-making. Pending further review your clearances are revoked. You are assigned to pigeon-poop-patrol in the park. Nothing short of a SCOTUS ruling changes that. So tell Judge Grump I said ‘hi’. Resist that.”
This guy survived -decades- in Real Estate, including Corruptapocalypse-zones like NYC. Ever notice that the Donks have exactly zero in this field in their mass-poo-fling? Nada. Because Trump is they guy who can game the system and stay relatively clean.
If the Donks had just done the “loyal opposition” thing, he would have no real reason to try to “lock them up”. Note, he went -nowhere- near that after he won.
Nada.
-That- was the unspoken “quid”. “Back the F off, or get what you get.”
Well, the sooper geenious types missed the subtle hint, the gentleman-rival offer, and went for the knife.
Bad. Bad. Bad move. Oh, so bad.
Because when Trump comes out of this, he will have a solid year to grind away at the Donks, and there are very, very few players at the senior level of that game that can remotely say “clean”.
And should he win in 2020? That grind may reduce the Donks to “Whig”. He just -wont- limit himself to the goals and objectives of others.
He has a “burn it all down in a year” plan.
He has a “Ive got four years for payback” plan.
He has a “And either way, I get all -this- winning” plan.
This is gonna be epic!
If a Senate trial plays out just right, not only would President Trump be acquitted, but the foundations will be laid for additional investigations not favorable to the Democrats’ and deep state’s side.
You did point out one of President Trump’s modes of operation… He hits back. Look at the nicknames that he has given people.
But, let’s get the whistleblower to come out and testify. Key House witnesses could go on record as to whether they had first-hand knowledge of the call or not. Adam Schiff could be called to task about his butchering of the phone transcripts. The House’s case is full of holes, President Trump’s side would have plenty of opportunities to exploit those holes.
As with so many Democrat positions, their push for impeachment is logically inconsistent. If they really had the mountain of incontrovertible damning evidence they claim to have, then they wouldn’t be afraid to put it all out there in a full legitimate trial. They would have no reason to attempt to restrict or subvert due process of law. The fact that they keep trying so hard to block and/or restrict testimony, limit the proceedings, and deny the president’s right to cross examine his accusers tells you that they don’t have shit. This is all political theater, it’s all bullshit, it’s a gross miscarriage of justice, and a transparent exercise in political corruption. It’s pretty fucking insulting that they seem to think that people can’t or won’t see right through this crap.
For other examples of logically-retarded leftist positions, see examples like:
– “Only law enforcement should have guns! By the way, cops are evil racists and the president is LITERALLY HITLER! But you need to surrender your guns to the government.”
– A woman is free to abort her baby against the father’s wishes, but the father is legally obligated to financially support the child even if he wanted said child aborted.*
* Abortion is murder, by the way.
Good point all TOW, but on your comment ” It’s pretty fucking insulting that they seem to think that people can’t or won’t see right through this crap.”… To those of us on the right, you are 100% correct. But for voters / supporters on the left, that attitude is spot on, they are too blinded, but low information, low intelligence, or just blind partisan hatred (think of commissar) to see through the BS..
Nancy Pelosi is not in a hurry to forward the articles of impeachment to the Senate. If President Trump’s actions were serious enough to warrant a rapid impeachment vote, it would make sense for this to be forwarded to the Senate as soon as possible. This was done after Clinton’s impeachment.
To top it off, Nancy is demanding a fair trial in the Senate. If her idea of “fair” is what she just presided over, then what she is essentially demanding is the second installment of the kangaroo court process that they just carried out.
“We win what we rig.”
– Donks
Kangaroo court = insulting to roos.
Someone please wake me when this quackery is over???
Read a great line over on Grouchy Old Cripple:
The last time Democrats were this pissed at a Republican president, they fired on Fort Sumter.
If Nancy Pelosi gets her way, this may go into limbo. She wants a certain assurance on the Senate before she would cause the articles of impeachment to the Senate.
“I did not have sexual relations with that woman…Miss Lewinsky.”
~ Bill Clinton, January 26, 1998
In the A&E docuseries The Clinton Affair, Monica said she got “the stain” on her dress after performing a sex act on the president in the Oval office bathroom, shortly after he gifted her a hat pin and copy of Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass.
There was actual evidence to impeach Clinton, but I don’t see any proof of wrongdoing by President Trump.
Regarding that NY whale, Jerry Nadler, I think Gunny Hartman said it best: “I bet you’re the kind of guy that would f-ck a person in the ass and not even have the goddamn common courtesy to give him a reach-around. I’ll be watching you.”
The stain on Monica Lewinsky’s dress was found to contain DNA from “Blowjob Willie”, incontrovertible Evidence versus comical third party hearsay from the D-rate!
But is a blowjob really a “sex act”? It would depend on what your definition of what the word “is” is…
I don’t know if a blow jib is a sex act or not, but Bill having to service Hillary sexually is an act of domestic spousal terrorism!!!!
(Chevy Chase, Weekend Update, on the phone,
Saturday Night Live, 1976)
“No, no, it’s just a figure of speech.
You don’t actually blow on it.”
What the dress evidences was his false testimony to a grand jury that he did not engage in any sex acts with “that woman.” Moreover, he was found to have suborned perjury by having his minions get Lewinsky and others to sign false affidavits. He also lied before a federal judge in his civil case deposition.
See anything unusual?
Shadow of the blue dress with cumstains…
Give the man a see-gar! Story is this was to be the official White House portrait of Bubba, and he and Hil loved it. Right up until the oddly shaped shadow that was reminiscent of a certain blue dress was pointed out.
I believe the artist is on witness protection and is running a Burger King in North Dakota.
I was thinking there appears to be a stain on the front of his blue shirt.
The story about the dress’s shadow on the wall in this painting has been out for some time.
I wouldn’t be surprised if someone brought it up here before. ![](https://valorguardians.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/mrgreen.png)
And the funny thing is, had Clinton wagged his finger and said, “Hell yeah! I banged her like a cheap Chinese gong!” it would have taken all the wind out of the sails of the Republicans.
But noooooooo….
I’m no fan of Clinton, but that would’ve been awesome!
He lied even when the truth would have best served him. Ditto his spouse.
Perjury and obstruction to justice, the leftist media try to make it about a “blow job in the White House”. The House actually had a valid reason to vote for impeachment back then. Do they want a fair trial in the Senate? Perhaps they should consider what has already been set with bipartisan support when Bill Clinton was tried in the Senate.
I’m sure that President Trump already has a plan and will end up handing liberals their collective ass on a plate.
…and TrumpRunner goes “Tweet! Tweet!”
Ya’ mean like THIS?
Yup.
Thanks for posting that here.
If you liked that channel, you’ll like this one. ![](https://valorguardians.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/mrgreen.png)
President Trump wants this to go to trial and is looking forward to a fight. Witnesses that the House refused to consider could be interviewed here. For example, they could call the “whistleblower”. The Democrats ran a sham, the potential for a real fight happens when this opens up in the Senate.
Don’t be telling Commissar Lars about that… you’ll break his cold, cold socialist heart.
“Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends, I’m so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside.” Apologies and HT to ELO.
I welcome and look forward to a full blown trial. Would love to see ALL of the dirt and corruption come to the light of day. I am purely disgusted at the actions of these career parasites of our society in their unrelenting quest to murder our Republic…you know…the same way they murder innocent unborn children…AND J. Epstein…not that JE was innocent…but he was murdered.
ELO? ELP!
I’m gen x and even I know that!
y’all please ‘scuse my fat fumble fingering typo and my most profuse apologies to the Classic 70s group Emerson Lake & Palmer, Album Brain Salad Surgery vs Electric Light Orchestra. mea culpa fat fingering self!
What a lucky man [you are]!
(Lucky me my pops didn’t mind me raiding his vinyl collection. But I have always wondered, why would someone move to Montana, how soon is soon, and how does one ‘raise dental floss’? I’ll figure it out,….someday)
Is this another way to describe President Trump as playing several steps ahead of the Democrats as if he were a chess grandmaster?![](https://valorguardians.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/mrgreen.png)
There is an “ELO” rating related to chess:
https://www.thechesspiece.com/what_is_an_elo_rating.asp
It’s only the RINOS pushing for a dismissal. Anyone who actually cares about the rule of law, due process, and vindication of Trump must push for a full trial. It’s a needless dog and pony show, yes, but it’s important to out all this fuckery.
There is so very much corrupt stuff burbling out of the swamp that is Ukraine, that there are likely many, many more dirty hands than Joe and Hunter Biden.
Many more.
Graham doesn’t want this discussed on camera, at all. Because there is a shitstorm disaster brewing. The chummy “we all go along to get along” on “spoils” is no longer safe and “off limits”.
For anyone.
And Trump’s personal bird dog delivered some primo evidence. Count on it.
Yes, they should go for a full trial where President Trump is allowed to present an argument that he was not able to present in the House. Time to present the Democrat’s key arguments, and witnesses, to a blistering fact check scrutiny. Help destroy the Democratic Party’s credibility in a presidential election year.
-Donald J Trump assisted the Russians by withholding aid to Ukraine.
-By asking a foreign elected official to root out corruption, the President is a bad man, and punched the Constitution in the face.
-He doesn’t have a vagina and isn’t yielding to the Globalists and the Chicoms.
Did I miss anything?!
F**K THESE CLOWNS!!!!
(Listening via C-SPAN because if I’m paying for it (handsomely), might as well use it)
Trump isn’t part of the dirty-money system, thus they lack the control of him. None of the usual players can rock the boat -too- hard, lest their dirt surface.
The reality of that scared the crap out of them. Thus the utterly shamefully false stuff. They -must- have that “he, too!” handle. What dirt that they thought would hurt just… didn’t. Almost like the stuff was planted to be found, but discovered inert.
Master showman. Ever ponder that his “indiscretions” were put-up jobs, deliberately planted for “rep” , and/or as a booby-trap?
And some of them people just don’t care, because of the precedent set by the Democrats themselves. President has cheated on his wife? We were told ad nauseum that that’s his prerogative and “it’s just sex.” So to find out that a man who’s been married three times paid off a woman he had an alleged affair with? First off, surprise the guy who’s been married thrice has commitment issues. Second, “it’s just sex.”
“It’s just sex”. Yes, throw the, “it’s just a blow job” back at them. They used this back in the 1990s.
In Trump’s case, this is an allegation. In Clinton’s case, they had evidence… And this was one of the arguments that helped advance the perjury and obstruction to justice argument. The allegations against President Trump were nothing but a straw man.
The Nadler/Gohmert exchange just now lays it all out there, Trump sent weapons and 0bama, Lurch Kerry, HRC et al sent MTEs and blankets.
I owe that goofy lookin sob from the 1st TX a beer!
Roh-Dog, did you mean MRE, not MTE? 🙂
MRE, yes! Thank you!!
Autocorrect is not my friend.
Autocorrect can be a real mother Forklift from time to time!
Then again, maybe MTE means “Meal, Toxic to Eat”
I’ll stick with Meals Rejected by Ethiopians.
Dictation software helps overcome the autocorrect issues, but replaces it with posting a word close to what one says, but not what one actually said.
And the left thinks that the Obama Admin did better in this area than President Trump’s administration did.
To make up for that, whoever thought about just sending MREs, blankets, etc., and those who supported the idea, should be made to eat the vegetable omelette MRE if such are still available.
If Nadler isn’t done with this before sunset in my AO, I am going to sue the pants off him.
Such grandstanding deserves the kind of notice that no one really wants.
Twit!!!
“sue the pants off him”
That would be a rather large suit.
Where DOES Nadler get his pants from, the Eureka Tent Company?
I think he’s got one of those anti-gravity belts like the Baron Harkonnen.
Versus Donald Mau’Trump.
The same place that Hillary gets her dresses from?
^WORD^ Catching it on “free” TV, broadcast local CBS. What a perfect storm of bs. Guess you noticed that Schifty Sack of Schiff yielded to himself as the designee, “as much time as needed?”
BRING ON AN OPEN TRIAL!
I would love to be a robot fly or spider or roach on the wall that can transmit images and conversation to a receiver. Any kind of tech like that is possible nowadays. The X-Files did an episode on robot cockroaches blending in to spy on all humans.
Right now, I think the real news is more important than watching these walloping dorks let us all know that ‘Trump Bad!’ is sooooo important that they have to interrupte important things in our lives.
And how did that “spy bug” thing work out in “The Fifth Element” ?
Squish.
Need his pants to make a hot air balloon?
I remember, back in 1998, how Jerry Nadler was animated in his defense of President Clinton and with his argument against impeachment. His animation was such that you could see his skin “bounce around” as he made his points. He provided enough arguments in 1998, and this year, for someone to make a video of him debating against himself. 🙄
LADIES and GENTLEMEN of TAH:
I come to you now as a private citizen, former and retired officer. I am afraid….. I am very afraid. In my entire 47 years ive never witnessed this level of angst and disruption in a US society. I am afraid that we will face another civil war. I know who will win but I do not want it, desire it or any it in any way. I am a constitutional originalist. That’s my political leaning. I am very afraid brothers and sisters. I’m sorry…
“I saved a life, you saved the world. “
It’s not going to go that far. Only half the country even bothers to vote, so there’s at most 25% of the country pissed off at another 25% while the remaining 50% doesn’t give a shit.
Well, that’s about what the Revolution and Civil War involved too, truth be told.
Trump’s geriatric base and the economically subsidized red states Would not win a second civil war.
Unless blue states just let you all secede this time.
And if you were truly an originalist you would favor impeachment. Since asking for assistance from a foreign power to interfere in an election is literally and explicitly the example our founders gave as to why impeachment powers were necessary.
Do yourself a favor, look at the states with the largest unfunded public pension obligations.
I’ll wait.
On second thought, I won’t.
You’re a turd. A runny, underwear ruining shart of a human being.
Get in your black PJs you communist prick and go play in traffic, blindfolded.
I just ask you to live stream it so I can climax while laughing harder than I’ve ever laughed.
Refute the argument, not the person.
On the other hand…
Yeah, beat the shit out of him. I will look the other way. Or jump in and help you.
Yeah those geriatric public assistance red staters used their SNAP benefits to buy guns and ammo. Blue staters bought yarn to knit pussy hats. Civil war’s gonna be interesting….
“Trump’s geriatric base and the economically subsidized red states Would not win a second civil war….”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA… YOUR side says that you’re ready to start a Revolution while at least 98% of you can’t even start a lawnmower or figure out which bathroom to use. Take a look at Red State America you sniveling fingernail-biting asswipe, a huge chunk of it is where your food comes from, so DON’T TALK WHEN YOUR MOUTH IS FULL of food, Commissar Poodledick!!!
His mouth is full, but not of food! Besides, even those blue states are full of red counties who are sick of their shit. Said counties are easy to find on a map: they’re the ones that actually produce anything besides smog.
“Unless blue states just let you all secede this time.”
Ah, it was the Democrats who seceeded last time, pal. It’s the Democrats calling for revolution and a new form of government.
Also, asking Ukraine to look into corruption of a former Veep is not election interference. As much as you’d like to believe the lies your media feeds you, it has zero to do with the election. It does now, and it’s your Democrat heroes doing so. Because they do anything illegal and underhanded to win at all costs.
As I see it, the D-rats and the left are going full turbo at doing Freudian Projection. They couldn’t find ANY even remotely tangible proof of President Trump playing any quid pro quo games while Biden openly admitted to doing so on video, but who did the demo-whores Impeach?
Lars, once again, you prove yourself a fucking idiot. You really think those “blue states” have a monolithic population? California itself has *millions* who would side with the Constitution. And just to make your tiny little head explode even more, many of them are colors other than white. Hell, some of them are even registered democrats! Stop fantasizing about sucking Gavin Newsom’s dick for a second and try to pay attention! Besides, if—God forbid—the Second Civil War you want so much ever does come to pass, I’ll be easy to find, you fucking chickenshit!
Remember that time when you gloated about how I would supposedly die off soon, despite the fact that I’m over a decade younger than you, and work in a job that requires me to stay in at least decent shape? Yeah, this is yet another example of why nobody takes you seriously.
You wouldn’t let any of those “deplorables” go, because then you wouldn’t have anyone to lord your presumptive superiority over. All you progs seem to think that you’re some sort of new aristocracy, and there’s no point in being an aristocrat if you don’t have serfs to lord over.
I, for one, would rather headbutt a 62 grain bullet doing 3,000 fps than have Lars or his ilk preside over me.
‘Live free or die’ ain’t just a meme!
Yes, that would truly be intolerable. And yet we seem to increasingly tolerate more and more of their preferences becoming policy. One reason that we got Trump is that the conservative movement doesn’t seem to have conserved very much. Whether or not we have reached a point of no return is yet to be determined.
I’m geriatric? Who the fuck knew?
Jesus, Lars–you’re that guy who gets the answers to the questions so fucking wrong the professor takes off 15 points for a 10-point question.
“After the election, I’ll have more flexibility.” Where’s your fucking outrage now?
A deeper look at those numbers, with regards to “economically subsidize red states”, shows something else going on. For example, my state is a “purple state”, and has plenty of military installations. It also has government installations. These installations draw money in. Additionally, our universities receive federal monies. These are two examples of what could cause federal money to go to a state. This has little to nothing to do with the ability of people or groups to economically succeed or get by. Also, when people talk about a “civil war”, people already understand that they are not talking about one set of states going against another set of states. This division is along ideological lines and the “civil war” is understood to be something that would take place between the left and the right. The mindset of the left would put them at a disadvantage in such a conflict. Most of those who own weapons are conservatives. It’s the Democrats, the left, that have a good percentage of people that are appalled at the idea of people, or themselves, owning guns. Additionally, it is no accident that the military is mostly conservative. The philosophy needed to prevail militarily is a conservative one. This is just a scratch on the surface of why conservatives would win such a “civil war”. I personally don’t see us headed in that direction. Instead, if the Democrats and the left get their way, what is occurring in Europe, and in many of our cities like San Francisco, would be what we would see throughout the US. Also, as was pointed out to you, it was the Democrats that wanted to secede from the union. The Democratic Party dominated the South for much of the 19th century, with the exception of Reconstruction. You support a political party that fought to preserve the institution of slavery, that perpetrated Jim Crow laws, that made the Dred Scott decision possible, segregation, etc. And, no, the parties did not switch. Perhaps I could post an article about that in the future. Hypocrisy is rejecting the “Confederate flag” because of… Read more »
I share your concerns. Between the general indifference to the illegal wiretapping and the total bastardization of justice… to put it succinctly: we f**cked. If this poor show of ill-statesmenship and incivility doesn’t wake up people, I have to ask ‘what’s the point?’.
Love him or hate him, there’s a system and a process. This. Ain’t. It.
I’ll leave you with a John Adams quote, to highlight the importance of our greatest Cause:
I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain. -J. Adams
The conservatives, and many independents, are appalled at this. However, the movers and shakers of the Democratic Party, the leftists among the population, and the Democrats himself, honest to God believe that President Trump abused his position and that he is a “threat” to the country into the Constitution. They are dead set in their position on this.
Our disagreement with this is dismissed based on their assumption that “they know better” than we do:
https://dailycaller.com/2018/12/04/mazie-hirono-dems-voters-smart/
RG: Many of us felt the same way in the 60’s. The turmoil was palpable. The violence (bombings in addition to the usual shootings, stabbings, et al) was beyond comprehension. Riots in the streets. Blood literally flowing in some places. Then everybody mellowed out on drugs, and we moved toward this mess you now see.
You fear is understandable. But, if we can get all the folks thoroughly fed up with this impeachment to vote next year, the nation can still be saved.
Buy ammo– better to have and not need than the other way around.
I agree. There is no doubt as to the outcome, but this nation of ours, by its most sacred founding principles, is supposed to be above political violence. I don’t have any particular desire to shoot anyone over how they voted, and I sure as hell don’t wish such a thing to happen in my children’s lifetime. But I fear—I fucking DREAD—that it may become necessary.
The D-rats have proven themselves to be utter and total petty FOOLS and I’m sure that they have already committed political Hara-Kiri.
Don’t you mean Seppuko?
Some call it Hara-Kiri, others call it Seppuku.
“Hara-Kiri” is “Belly cutting”. It is the vulgar term for an impulsive, informal, “low” form of suicide by self-disemboweling.
“Seppuku” is the formal process. Historically, it was a highly-formalized process, “Seconded” by an assistant who struck off the head, usually performed with permission (or ordered), and was an exit from wrongdoing.
The recent elections in the UK should serve as a wake-up call to our Democrats. Unfortunately, they are far too narcissistic to see their disconnect from reality, and from the “regular people”. The Labour Party failed to learn the lessons from our Democrats’ mistakes in the 2016 presidential campaign. Now, it appears, our Democrats appear to continue to try the same thing while expecting different results.
I sometimes wonder that maybe either shifty schithead or nadler might be a reincarnation of the late Joesph Goebbels. These snowflakes wanted to impeach the man before he even got into office and will most likely keep trying to impeach him while he is in office in 2024.
I love how Pelosi keeps parroting that nobody came to Congress to impeach him. She must be forgetting the f̶r̶e̶s̶h̶m̶a̶n̶ freshperson Democrat from MI who, upon winning (and draping herself in the Palestine flag) said she’s “going to impeach the motherfucker!”
Rashida Tlaib posted a video of herself excitedly walking to the floor of the House to cast her impeachment vote:
That’s the ugly see you next tuesday.
There was talk among the left about a potential impeachment of George Bush when they won big in 2006, taking control of both chambers. During the beginning of the new Congress, the new Democrat majorities downplayed that possibility.
Here’s another, check the video out:

Just Lurkin, time to pick a charity. Consider it an extra good deed at Christmas time:

I’d gladly spend $20 to watch the Dems commit ritual suicide any day (you choose the charity).
How about Team Rubicon?
As for the Democrats, I think this was inevitable and while it may galvanize some Republicans(*), not doing it would’ve sown so much disillusion among the Left that it would’ve been a bigger problem in the next election for the Democrats.
And my little asterisk there is because we’re still waiting for the other shoe to drop – the investigations, and fallout, from Giuliani’s actions. I think that may change public sentiment in the long run.
The Democrats biggest issue at this point is that it’s still a clown-car of mediocrity all trying to claw their way to the top at the expense of each other. Trump’s popularity is still well below 50%, so while he still has a decent chance at winning the Presidency due to the EC, ultimately the biggest factor right now is if the Democrats can a) pick someone decent, as opposed to a ‘woke’ candidate that the far Left likes, and b) manage all the butthurt other Democrats will feel after their candidate didn’t get picked as the nominee.
If the Democrats can unify, I feel the general election is close. If they can’t, yeah, I think Trump has a better-than-average chance.
I’ll send them a check.
As far as the election I frankly expect this to cost the Dems the House. Let’s see how they reconcile the supposed “serious and somber” nature of the proceedings with these images.

Reportedly Nan is thinking of delaying the sending of the impeachment articles to the senate for trial. Yeah why not. She knows this schiffshow is a loser.
And the Senate, aware and notified by TV like everyone else, could just say “we have the articles” and proceed. Or, say, “stop playing silly buggers and send it within 24 hours, or you are guilty of obstructing Congress and abusing your authority”
How hard of a game will Mcconnel play? He wants this over.
Having the Senate charge the House with obstruction would be just too, too ironic. And special. Maybe even a bit of wonderful. But somehow, that action seems to fit perfectly with the crazy of this entire, sad episode.
Christmas is next Wednesday. That withered husk Pelosi will likely try to delay things until Tuesday, thinking it will be too late for the Senate to do anything. She needs to lay off the botox for a while.
The wailing and gnashing of teeth today is like music to my ears. We’ll see how this will play out in the long run, but for now I’m enjoying my gluten and taste-free soy latte with three pumps of Trumpkin tears.
