Joe Biden diagnosed with prostate cancer
Joe Biden was diagnosed last week with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. This cancer has spread to his bones; the Biden family is reviewing options for his treatment. Despite this cancer’s being aggressive, it is hormone-sensitive and thus allows for effective management. According to Biden’s office, Biden’s cancer scored nine out of 10 on the Gleason score grading system.

Former U.S. President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, his office said in a statement on Sunday.
Biden, 82, was diagnosed on Friday after experiencing urinary symptoms, and he and his family are reviewing treatment options with doctors, according to the statement.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management,” his office said.
Cancers that have spread, or metastasized, are considered Stage 4, the most advanced. Most prostate cancers are detected at an earlier stage.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, of the 236,659 cases of prostate cancer diagnosed in 2021, 70% were diagnosed before the cancer had spread beyond the prostate. About 8% of new prostate cancer diagnoses that year involved advanced-stage disease.
Biden’s physical health and mental acuity drew scrutiny during his 2021-2025 presidency. He abruptly ended his bid for reelection last July, weeks after a halting performance during a debate against Republican Donald Trump prompted panic among his fellow Democrats.

Thanks for that. It is hard to believe that Joe did not have his blood draw samples have the PSA test done annually, as part of his physicals. Now, I did have to ask my doctor include them in my blood tests. After many years of my negative ones, he decided they weren’t needed, as they are not totally reliable.
Pretty sure the doctors told Jill, Barack and other dems about this long before Joe ran for president and won. As others have posted, the medical team should all lose their license to practice.
I had my prostrate removed 15 years ago. My Doctor still schedules a PSA test every other blood test. The President gets physicals periodically. Surely it includes a PSA test. And that finger test.
FYI for anyone considering this surgery: I chose the Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy method. The biopsy before the surgery was more painful than the surgery.

Absolutely concur! Simple and quick, although I looked like I’d been shanked repeatedly. PSA’s crept up a year later, a few weeks of radiation took care of that. No side effects from that, although the side effects of Lupron were awful. I thought I had Alzheimer’s, totally brain dead. Which may explain some of Biden’s senility.

But curious, what do you think of DPT’s etc.? I do not consider them PhD equivalent (as to lack of a specialized focus / academic – although – hands on training), but others do. I would think PA, LPN, etc. But they lack the prescription authority and larger base of training.

My response is that career students go for phd’s. Tell me how difficult it must be to get a PhD in Gender Studies or Ethnic Studies. Many PhD degrees are useless for getting employment outside some college or other education institution. I learned how to perform successfully in a marketable career that helps people. Ditto for medical doctors. Those that can’t do teach.

While it is true for the vast majority of men, prostate cancer is a slow growing problem. It is not that way all the time. I know because mine was caught early due to a one point spike in PSA and the 10% cancerous determination based on biopsy changed to 80% in less than 3 months. If I had waited until we came back 9 months later I likely wouldn’t be here now. I had a bad feeling about it and came back less than 2 months after the diagnosis. Pathology of the prostate showed it was 80% cancerous.
I have read that even having prostate cancer does not necessarily mean your PSAs will immediately spike – a friend (who didn’t survive it) said his PSAs were normal when he was diagnosed. I would also think “I am the President of the country, you are NOT sticking your finger up my ass” is not an unlikely line for a President to say. Blunder, malfeasance, or simple diagnostic oversight – who knows. But it probably should have been detected far earlier.
You are correct, PSA’s do not always “spike”, but any increase needs to be checked. There’s no excuse for prostate cancer to be that advanced in a man with as much access to medical care as Joe Biden has had for nearly his entire life. After a certain age, it’s nearly safe to assume that you DO have some form of prostate cancer. We can just add this to the series of lies and coverups that Joe Biden’s life is.
Medical privacy is one thing. And your position is not without merit.
