Haste Makes Waste

| December 18, 2019

On the morning news, the representative from the Illinois 18th District was interviewed live. His response to the entire impeachment is that it’s a sham, because he had read all the evidence documents himself and found nothing that was done wrong.

And then, while perambulating around the interwebs,  I ran across this interesting post, with a link to the pdf document of the FISC’s response to Comey’s grabtastic FISA efforts. Simply put, FISA’s own Court has handed down a rebuke of Comey’s FBI.

Twitchy quote: The FISA Court destroys the FBI for its egregious mishandling of the Carter Page FISA applications & says those abuses by the bureau call into question the accuracy of its other hundreds & hundreds of FISA applications. A truly stunning rebuke of Comey’s FBI by the secret court.

FISA complaint improperly filed???  Comey is in deep doodoo? It starts on a Twitchy post (link below), and then provides a link (below) to the pdf.

Here’s the pdf of the rebuke:

As a lead-in, here’s the first paragraph:

“This order responds to reports that personnel of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) provided false information to the National Security Division (NSD) of the Department of Justice, and withheld material information from NSD which was detrimental to the FBI’s case, in connection with four applications to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) for authority to conduct electronic surveillance of a U.S. citizen named Carter W. Page. 1 When FBI personnel mislead NSD in the ways described above, they equally mislead the FISC.”

Since the FISC is essentially a “secret” court, and those judges get their undies in a bunch about what Comey is doing, what does that say about him and the others? They fell all over themselves to do this, and now they are scolded for it.

Unless I miss my guess on this, the FISC order has refuted the legitimacy of any, and perhaps all, charges against Trump. You might want to print that pdf out and keep it in a safe place.  Stock your favorite treats, people. But never, ever take anything for granted. EVER.

  1. GDContractor says:

Not only that, it possibly refutes the legitimacy of ANY FISA warrents filed by the FBI.

From the judges order: “The frequency with which representations made by FBI personnel turned out to be unsupported or contradicted by information in their possession, and with which they withheld information detrimental to their case, calls into question whether information contained in other FBI applications is reliable.”

  2. Combat Historian says:

There will be no legal consequences for the FBI people who have been corrupting and abusing the FISA process for years; the Deep State protects its own…

    • GDContractor says:

And yet, Trump is literally Hitler. 🙄

      • Roh-Dog says:

        Totally Hitler:
        -nationalized the banks and industries
        -seized the guns
        -registered and prosecuted Jews
        -had a space program
        -drank water
        Well, sh*t.

    • Berliner says:

The AG needs to take jurisdiction and action to leave a mark and a vivid memory for current and future FBI employees.

Leaving it up to the FBI for internal action would mean some serious flogging with foam pool noodles followed by drinks.

  3. Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH B Woodman says:

So? The FISC court wrote a paper saying that the FiBbIes had lied.
So when are we going to be treated to the reports and sight of various “authoritahs” being handcuffed and frog marched under arrest by the Federal Marshals?
Until that time, this is, as Brother Shakespeare put it so eloquently,
“Out, out, brief candle! Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

    • 11B-Mailclerk says:

Right now, someone has mumbled “foot fault”. No one got ejected, suspended, and fined.

Show me the indictments. Or its just a team procedure penalty in a game.

  4. 5th/77th FA says:

Oops indeed! More proof of the Deep State and their nefarious activities to destroy our Republic to maintain their grip on power.

All of this because that scunt, The Bitch of Benghazi, dasHildabeast, Hitlerleeeerry didn’t get “Her Turn.”

Lawd I pray that I will live long enough to see Justice being done and multitudes of perp walks as these domestic enemies are jailed for crimes of high treason. And those enemies ARE on BOTH sides of the aisle. DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!

Good post, info and linkies Ex. Thanks!

Thank you! This gets better and better. Can’t wait to get to the final chapter… or something.

This clean up will be going on for years if we actually ever see it cleaned up.
If not, America is over with and the seeds laid now will foment something that nobody wants, at least those of us that understand what a Civil War entails…..
The problem with the libturds is that they have no experience in the military and have no idea how far they are pushing against a force that is pretty much the immovable object.
They think they have power, they don’t, it’s like the movie Thunderheart when Val Kilmer shows the lottery ticket to the schoolteacher and says that it’s power, she simply answers that the river is power, that was paper…
If I can pray for anything in this mess it is America that I pray for and that the right of the honest truth is the force that emerges and triumphs over the evil that is the modern d-rat party…
      They simply have no clue…..

  5. AW1Ed says:

On a similar note, disgraced former FBI lawyer Lisa Page whined to Rachel Madcow on its MSLSD show:

‘”Lisa Page, who admitted her opposition to Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential candidacy while her agency was investigating his campaign, spoke out against her critics.

Page referred to two of Trump’s cabinet officials, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Attorney General William Barr, questioning why they had not spoken on her behalf against the President.

“I mean, it’s deeply unfair,” Page said. “We are all public servants. This is simply not the way even with wrongdoing, even if you think that my text messages were a mistake, this is not how public servants should be treated. And moreover, those institutions should be coming to their defense.”’

Poor baby, need more cheese with that whine? In other times a failed coup against the king would have some rather imaginative and drastic consequences.

She also cheated on her hubby and family. Nope, not sorry for her at all.

How much deeper is this going to get?

      • Mason says:

One thing the military does right (sometimes). Adultery is lying to the one who trusts you most. It’s a character flaw that should call in to question your ability to lead.

    • USAF RET says:

I was a public servant on active duty and I remain one as a civilian USAF employee. No one owes me a damn thing except the pay I earn……Well, President Trump has made 24 December a holiday for federal employees so there’s that….. Making Christmas Great Again Thanks Mr. President

    • SFC D says:

Dumb broad. When you put your sex life onto a government phone, your sex life becomes public record. Lisa, you are now a grade A, 100% documented, government approved lying skank. You earned it, wear it with pride.

      • Thunderstixx says:

That woman is so incredibly stupid to even begin to think that anyone actually cares WTF that skank thinks or feels.
We’ll be throwing a pity party for her right here on the Valor Guardian pages…..
Followed by a circle jerk with larsy-boi as the pivot puss….

  6. SFC(R) Blizz says:

Where has this FISC judge been for the last 3 years? Had Trump been somehow impeached, would this ever have come out. She could have ordered a review of this whole years ago when questions surfaced about the credibility of the requests. She sat on her hands because she hoped nothing would ever be looked into. Now, something that was designed to assist us in the war on terror has been corrupted. This court must be shut down or radically redesigned. We gave our government a great amount of power with the expectation that it would be used for good. It took the one change in the presidency for the court to be used as a weapon against American citizens. The argument cannot be made that Obama was not involved in this. He had to approve all of these actions.

  7. OWB says:

And why, of all the possible dates this could come out, right NOW is the time? Interesting.

Is this really anything more that the court covering it’s own arse? I will believe that they are prepared to hold anyone accountable when they do something substantially more than ask for a report about the obvious abuses. Yeah, that’s how most criminals are handled, right? A judge asks you to write a report about your crime, and that’s that. Uh-huh.

    • Ex-PH2 says:

OWB: Is this really anything more that the court covering it’s own arse?

Me: Ummm…. why, how very perceptive of you, OWB! And why now? Why at this particular time? So close to Christmas, too….

      • OWB says:

Some of us were trained decades ago to always look behind the curtain. At least some of the time by doing so you can discover the real agenda. Or a trail of crumbs to the real agenda.

(Like, what all is in that gigantic spending bill making it’s way around the circus called Congress while they have everyone focused on the clowns in the House? Dare we hope that it is vetoed?? Not happening, I know.)

        • 5th/77th FA says:

“…trail of crumbs to the real agenda.” Spot on OWB. IMO the “real agenda” is the complete destruction of the Republic of these United States as we know it, including the working middle class, and the creation of the elite ruling class, lording over the teeming masses of the great unwashed. Which is exactly what most of the rest of the world was until the creation of this great experiment. “We have given you a Republic now if you can just keep it.” The career politicians have been keeping the pot stirred hoping that we the people will turn on one another, giving them a reason to declare martial law so they can take away our ability to defend ourselves against them. Too bad these politicians can’t ask ol’ King Louie and Marie how that worked out for them.

They are rapidly running out of other people’s money to spend and the Chinese are going to call in their notes, eventually if not sooner.

  8. Mason says:

If there’s one thing the FBI is really good at, it’s making bad case law.

  9. rgr769 says:

You all should read LTC Allen West’s article on CNS news site about how the FBI has become the USA’s Stasi. There is an excellent description of his visit to East Berlin in 1986. It was very similar to my visit this socialist paradise in 1969.

    • rgr769 says:

Obviously, my proof reader missed a “to” in that last sentence.
My most vivid memory of that day long visit to German commie land was the apparent fear of the people of their government’s security forces. The Stasi had hundreds of thousands of civilians recruited to spy on everyone.

      • MK75Gunner says:

Was just in Berlin last year and stayed at the Moxy Berlin Hotel just a couple blocks down from the old Stasi HQ. Went and toured the facility. Amazing the depth and breadth of surveillance of the citizens of East Berlin by the security state. Just their postal network alone employed thousands of covert agents. Regular citizens never knew whether or not the person working next to them was Stasi or just a citizen.

        • MK75Gunner says:

The irony of staying at this hip, modern, brand new western hotel within walking distance of the former HQ of this testament to the evil security state that was East Germany was quite enjoyable. Despite what that fucking sack of shit (former)Cadet Rapone thinks, Communism will not win in the end.

    • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

It’s been said that the East German Stasi not only had an unlimited budget, they spied on EVERY Westerner that came to and went from their country.

      • rgr769 says:

They tailed and photo’d me and my mates the entire day we were in East Berlin. Then after we returned, we were debriefed by Intel types in civies who refused to identify what org they were from.

        • A Proud Infidel®™ says:

My Dad was an Exchange Student in Holland in the early 60’s and he told me about how he and the friends he went into East Berlin with during that time were followed everywhere they went and the look on his face when I told him that they were Stasi and somewhere in their files were records of every bit of their visit existed until the fall of the Wall and likely fell into Western hands afterward… Come to think of it, that’s how some sell-outs got caught as well, no Statue of Limitations for treason! But anyway, constant surveillance and perpetual paranoia were part of daily life in every socialist hellhole even to this day!
