North Korea Reacts to US Air Force Drill

| July 9, 2017

Fox News is reporting North Korea has wasted no time criticizing the US’s recent practice bombing runs in South Korea. Rodong Sinmun, the ruling party’s newspaper, called the act “reckless military provocations” after US Air Force B-1B’s dropped inert shapes during a Saturday training mission. These comments were reported by the state Korean Central News Agency, saying the activity increased the threat of nuclear war.

The exercise was conducted days after North Korea successfully tested a ballistic missile reportedly able to strike Alaska and Hawaii.

The Air Force, in a statement, called the mission a “demonstration of the ironclad U.S. commitment to our allies.”

The bombers, which can carry 84 500-pound bombs, fired releasing inert weapons at the Pilsung Range. The mission took 10 hours, according to the statement.

North Korea’s actions are a threat to our allies, partners and homeland,” Gen. Terrence O’ Shaughnessy, the Pacific Air Forces commander, said. “Let me be clear, if called upon we are trained, equipped and ready to unleash the full lethal capability of our allied air forces.”

Additionally, the US and South Korea will test the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-missile system later this month.

N. Korea needs to become a parking lot & if they keep up their shenanigans, that is exactly what will happen. The regime is and always has been completely insane and out of touch with the real world. Someone needs to tell them about “poking a bear”. If they were to make an act of war move, the allies would reign hell fire down upon them before they could wipe their asses.

Deplorable B Woodman

“North Korea needs to become a hot, radioactive, glowing, molten glass parking lot……”

There. Fixed it for ya. Yer welcome.

The Other Whitey

With a not-so-subtle hint to Iran and Red China saying, “You’re fuckin’ next!”

Silentium Est Aureum

As the old saying goes, “24 empty missile tubes, a mushroom cloud, and it’s Miller time!”

Club Manager

The general’s statement would have been stronger if he included at least one “yo momma’s”.

Yef

I wonder what is in the head of fat kim da third.

I mean, what is his goal with all these missile tests. What is his end game. In what COA course of action, he comes out on top?

Mike Kozlowski

Yef,

The way I have always understood it, the idea is that we can’t do to him what we did to Saddam Hussein. It is still very possible that the Norks think they can take a big chunk of the ROK before we get spun up to respond, and then say “This is a matter of internal Korean politics – if a single US soldier, sailor, airman or Marine interferes, we will fire the missiles.” That approach would have a bunch of people demanding that we stay out of Korean affairs, and possibly slow down our response enough the give the Norks the win. Even if it doesn’t, our political leadership – moral paragons that they are – will quietly be doing the calculus of a Nork strike against CONUS and deciding whether or not it’s worth it.

For Kimmie, it’s a win/win – just the fact that they exist might be enough to keep us out if he decides to jump. If they don’t, then he knows he’s going down anyways…and he might as well take Los Angeles with him.

Mike

The Other Whitey

“…he might as well take Los Angeles with him.”

And there would be much rejoicing.

Maybe we could luck out and he takes San Foo-foo along with it?

Roger in Republic

And Honolulu as well so long as the Federal bench is sitting.

just some feller

We’re still — technically — at war with North Korea. They ought not forget that minor detail.

Joe

After you’ve threatened a rain of fire and death time and time again, where do you go from there?

Poetrooper

Here ya go, Joe:

“The bombers, which can carry 84 500-pound bombs, fired releasing inert weapons at the Pilsung Range.”

Let’s see now if Antifa demonstrators on average weigh 150 pounds what is the equivalent load of inert demonstrators the B-1’s can drop per run?

Joe

Oh god, here we go with the “antifa” again……

Hondo

Well, I see that our resident verbal self-flagellant has made yet another appearance. Whassamatta, Joe – does the average dominatrix in your area charge too much for verbal abuse?

Yep. As long as Antifa and other similar movements keep acting like hypocritical clueless idiots, people with any common sense whatsoever will keep pointing out their hypocritical stupidity – and will keep ridiculing them and their supporters.

Wireman611

Ummm… In this case it would be density of load and not mass. Size is the limitation here since they are all airheaded snowflakes.

Jon The Mechanic

Can we hang them off of wingracks?

Eden

Oh, that needed a spew warning!! Still, you win the Interwebz today!

Jon The Mechanic

In the case of Kim, right now we just continue with the testing and improving of our ABM capability in the region.

Kim is closer and closer to getting an ICBM (thanks to Bill Clinton’s agreement that allowed him to keep his nuclear reactors in exchange for a promise not to make the materials for a device). If he manages to get a weapon assembled, we may have to follow the lead of the Israeli Air Force and wipe out the reactors and nuclear materials before he mates the warhead with the launcher.

But hey, the previous POTUS was good at bending over and kissing the asses of tinpot dictators and despots around the world, and that made Liberals like you happy.

Poetrooper

In a recent comment on an older thread, I suggested to Hondo that Joe, with his propensity to love verbal abuse, was much like what is known as the “bottom chicken” in studies of hierarchical order. Claw then followed with the information that such chickens are known in the trade as “nibless peckers.”

That is so perfect and so priceless that I hereby suggest that in future comments we refer to Joe as our Nibless Pecker.

All in favor?

Eden

AYE!!!

A Proud Infidel®™

AYE!

Silentium Est Aureum

Double aye!

Commissioner Wretched

Hear, hear!

David

Joe – “where do you go from there?”
You bring it.

Wilted Willy

I would love to launch a few dozen cruise missiles up NDtBF’s ass! I agree that we should turn the whole shit hole into a parking lot! I would volunteer to do the stripping for the on rush of American cars! Phuck Hymn!!!

It’s time for the USA to push a UN sponsored Demilitarization Schedule with a 6 month drop dead date (unilateral/non-negotiable/no compensation)for on-site verified destruction of all DPRK’s strat weapons. If the clowns don’t comply, it’s another check the block for our unilateral action to enforce the UN order. We need to kick their asses now.
