Well, for the gang of fools in DC current Administration, this is . . . inconvenient.
Remember the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting? You know, the incident where an adherent of Islam became radicalized, was investigated twice by the FBI for potential ties to terrorism, pledged his allegiance to Daesh, and shot up an Orlando nightclub frequented by the LGBT crowd – killing 49 and injuring 53?
You know, that obvious terrorist attack that the Administration has insisted on investigating as a possible “hate crime”? Because a number of people claimed the shooter had frequented gay clubs and inquired about gay dating apps?
Well, it seems that those pesky things called facts are looking a bit “inconvenient” regarding the Administration’s blatant propaganda and “spin” thesis that this may have been a hate crime vice terrorism. Per officials familiar with the investigation, the FBI has found no hard evidence supporting that thesis. Specifically, they can’t seem to corroborate the accounts concerning the shooter that might lead one to believe he may have been gay or bi.
Still, the investigation into the shooter’s possible sexual orientation continues. And last week, in an interview the US Attorney General declined to rule out the possibility that the shooter was secretly gay – but that investigators are still trying to determine why the shooter picked a gay nightclub.
Hmm. Daesh has been targeting gays for death for the past 2 years. The shooter chose a gay night club during a special event (when it would be more crowded than usual) as his target. Daesh is a radical Islamic terrorist organization. The shooter pledged his allegiance to Daesh, and was a radicalized Muslim. And he committed a suicide attack.
I’m not LE. But I think maybe I’m seeing a pattern here that rather clearly supports one conclusion regarding the shooter’s motive.
Or, to phrase it differently: looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, smells like a duck. Damn, ya think maybe it might be a duck and not a squirrel?

Obama and his ilk NEVER let facts confuse the issue, what ever the issue might be.
If not just another gay blade, certainly a puss boy. That type of night club would likely be considered less of a risk of being attacked by patrons than say a biker bar. Considering the former to be somewhat passive and less aggressive, the latter would have just killed his ass the moment he walked in the door and showed a weapon to strangers. On the other hand, he may have waddled in wearing spandex short shorts, a sleeveless neon “muscle shirt”. while sporting a big thick bushy mustache as if he was one of the original Village People. Nobody would have considered him out of place until the shooting started.
Regardless of my (or anyone else’s) stance on gays, those were Americans killed. May he rot in Duck Hell.
I would prefer he rot in pig heaven where he is devoured and shit out each day.

That reminds me of the time I bought a used truck from a guy named Marvin in Wichita, Kansas. Marvin told me he worked for Boeing for 28 years. “How did you like working for Boeing?”, I asked.

To my knowledge, Marvin never shot up a night club, or an aircraft assembly plant…but maybe I should inform the FBI just in case. I know… I’ll aks the resident grad student!

It’s entirely possible that the Orlando shooter had multiple motives. He was clearly a terrorist, but his selection of that particular target may have been driven by his sexual identity issues. True, Fundamentalist Muslims and Pastor Steven Anderson think that homosexuality is a crime punishable by death, but it takes a psychopath to go out and just kill people like that.
Even run run of the mill terrorist thug has multiple motivations for being an asshole- sometimes money, power, or just being an an asshole.
But it takes a special kind of asshole to walk into a room of people- even if you hate them- and start killing. Even the Nazis had to rotate their Einsatzgruppen

Notice that your Boss Terrorists, who hate the West with the fiber of their being (UBL, al Baghdadi , etc) don’t actually ‘do terrorism’ themselves. It took an asshole like Zarqawi to actually go out and cut peoples heads off. Zarqawi was clearly a psychopath that got off on killing.
I’ve read Hondo’s article several times. I think the root of the denial problem, which includes the refusal to accept facts and use the correct terms for these crimes, is that the egotism has to be fed.
It’s the idea that there were ‘no terrorist crimes committed on my watch’ – that sort of thing.
If something like this occurs and the labeling of it (for want of a better term) is less aggressive than reality dictates, then that clowndog can say ‘none on my watch’ and spend the rest of his useless life lying about it as much as he wants to.
Facts are unimportant to people like that. They don’t want facts. They want to buy the world a Coke and keep it company, even if it wants to kill them.
IMO it’s deeper than that, Ex-PH2. There are two mutually-supporting reasons.
The first is that this Administration simply cannot give up the “Kumbaya” nonsense and accept the fact that there are evil bastards in this world who hate our nation and wish to destroy it. The second reason – related to the first – is that acknowledging this fact goes against the multicultural doctrine we’ve had jammed down our throats by “academia” and the left (yes, that’s highly redundant) for the past couple of decades if not longer.
Between the two (being in denial, and unwillingness to go against the left’s “party line”), that’s reason enough to fail to properly characterize such terrorist incidents as what they are. They have to grasp at straws and bend reality – or ignore it entirely – in order to “support the cause”.
