Donald Trump: Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!

| June 17, 2025 | 42 Comments

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to post about Iran. Trump said that Iran should’ve signed the deal he told them to sign. His post continued that it was a shame given the waste of human life. Trump stated that Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon and then ended the post by saying that everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran.

From New York Post:

President Trump warned that “everyone” in Tehran should “immediately evacuate” in a Monday night Truth Social post as it was revealed he would be leaving the G7 summit a day early because of the Iran-Israel conflict.

“Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” Trump posted on social media.

The president’s evacuation warning came after Israeli officials called for those in Tehran to evacuate earlier Monday ahead of its continued military campaign against Iran, which has included slews of missile exchanges between the conflicting countries.

The evacuation area includes an estimated 330,000 people in central Tehran, including Iran’s state television headquarters, police headquarters and three key hospitals including one owned by the country’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard.

Iranian authorities dismissed Israel’s call for evacuation as nothing more than “psychological warfare.”

Still, thousands have been pushed to flee, the chaos only exacerbated by Tehran’s lack of publicly accessible bomb shelters. A majority of the 9.5 million people in Iran’s capital have been left in limbo as mass evacuations clogged traffic while others lack the means to leave at all.

Those who can’t flee have resorted to waiting out the strikes in their basements or subway stations.

I think this is the FO phase.
The people of Iran may just give them another FO lesson soon.

In the long run, the Biblical book of Revelation aka “The Revelation of St. John” tells us that in the end, it will be God Himself that gives them the ultimate FO lesson – permanently.

“Fire on the mountain, lightning in the air…” Seems like I remember reading in that “Good Book something about the next destruction of the world would be by fire. I do believe if I was any where near Tehran, I’d be beating feet…one way or another. When someone that has the capability to blow Hell out of Dodge, tells you to get the Hell outa Dodge then one should…Get the Hell outa Dodge.

A small part of me has a bit bit of sympathy for the average(?) Iranian citizen that cannot escape and does not support the Mad Mullahs, but how many of those types are around? Has the population been so poisoned by the hatred of all things American (or Israeli) that they are willing to be vaporized?

Blaster

For that part of the world to be the “birthplace of civilization” they (Imams, ME leaders/dictators, etc.) sure do like to keep the people dumb, don’t they?

I recall Tehran being a major listening post for intellegence
gathering back in the late 60’s early 70’s.
The Shah kept things peaceful by selling the people out while
alowing them to rock the casbah.
Whole different night life back then.

Graybeard

The Shah was certainly no saint. A lot of the current misery in Iran comes from the over-reaction to his corruption.

Reading Persian history (and interactions of same with Greece) shows that this is just the latest chapter in a long story.

I’d like to think all people yearn to be free. If Iran wants to be made so it’ll have to be organic. Turning this campfire into an inferno by way of adding MOABs ain’t gonna yield positive results.

If 2003 (“…whatever happend there…” -Little Carmine, The Sopranos) and the declaration of jihad taught us anything it’s to let the falafel lovers solve it themdamnselves.

Edit: forgot who had that line. Great scene.

I don’t believe anyone will like the ending…

History repeats itself. The weapons become more destructive, and history repeats itself and the weapons become more destructive, and history repeats …
Sadly, regretfully we know.

That had to be fun. Persian women are pretty hot without the ninja suit

Sounds like someone is considering letting the sunshine out of the bottle. When that happens it won’t just be another thing, everyone will want to get in on it then. If Israel does it first then they lose the moral high ground. Either way, 100s of thousands will die.

The question then becomes; “what will we do?”

It’s gone both ways. The West attempted (and was mostly successful with) conquering and subjugating the rest of the world several times. Then let it slip away for good after all the infighting of WWI and WWII.

The Ottomans came very close to conquering Europe and were successful in killing and driving off colonialist from as early as Roman times locally.

Trump has declared “we” have Air Supremacy over Iran. Who “we” are is unclear

ANCRN

One of Donald Trumps major flaws is his inability to lean back in his chair, and shut up. Absolutely no reason for the US to do anything but watch the show right now. The IDF is fully capable of doing the work, and the less we shoot off our mouth, the less likely our troops get killed in a fight that isn’t ours.

Pending irate condemnation from the Faux News con-servatives and illiberalnati government worshipers for Massie working with squad members to block the MIC’s payday for killing a bunch of people, including our American Brothers and Sisters.

I swear upon all of creation, The They best not.

I know Iran has the whole “death to America” thing going on but it’s been going on for 45 years and they aren’t any closer. If they start some mess than take them out, not sit over there for decades and try to make them believe things they don’t want to believe and do things they don’t want to do.

Take them out, leave and let them sort out the rest.

Except that if the Iranians get a nuke, it is going to change the entire balance of power in the Middle East. Israel cannot allow that to happen. The Iranians already have the missile delivery systems to deliver an atomic bomb.

This guy says what I am thinking better than I can say it.

From my perspective, they are, indeed closer.
Look at Europe, particularly Germany and Great Britain. If you don’t think it can happen in the USA, you’re not paying attention to LA, NYC, Chicago, Houston, et al

Please don’t get my comment about my personal opinion be misleading, I absolutely LOVE seeing Ukraine hand Russians their own asses. I giggle every time I see a Ukrainian drone smack the hell out of Russian targets.

With that said, I still fully believe that the only reason you see so many Democrats in support of that war is because it is just one, huge money laundering scheme for them.

Sir, can you spare a GBU 57, for which I will pay you back next Tuesday?

Don’t fear the wave’vm, fear the lone missile.

I could see Tehran doing a retaliation strike with something like I-131 over Tel Aviv if thier population is effected by fallout. (Half-life of 8 days, millions of kids with cancer, making that place uninhabitable for years, genocide)

Also, it was reported that two B2s left Diego Garcia ‘for a routine training mission’.
We probably have the least protected electrical system and 30M-or-so ‘new guests’.

This is not a game anyone can afford to play.

They just have the one facility left now, deep, deep down. Nothing big enough to hit it.

Graybeard

“one facility” ≠ “no nuclear material”

Odie

I remember reading about a newer bunker buster supposed to go deeper than previous versions. Something like several hundred feet before detonation. I don’t remember where or when I read it (maybe here?).

If I’m mistaken, couldn’t several be programed with the same coordinants, and fire for effect? Would that not get the desired results, or close enough for gubuermit work?

Make rubble, bounce rubble and continue bouncing rubble until said rubble becomes suitably sized to become building material once again.

Vinson CVBG already in the Arabian Sea/Gulf of Oman, Nimitz CVBG on the way. SSGN likely sitting nearby and a couple VA-class SSNs in the Persian Gulf.
