Um, Bowe Bergdahl?

The Washington Post has noticed like the rest of us that the Army hasn’t made a public pronouncement on the Bowe Bergdahl case despite the fact that their investigation ended months ago;
The Army in June launched a new investigation into Bergdahl’s disappearance and capture, amid a raft of accusations from his fellow soldiers that he walked away from his unit on the battlefield and questions about whether the Obama administration handled the prisoner swap legally. But six months later there is silence about the probe from all corners.
Army Lt. Col. Alayne Conway, a spokeswoman at Army headquarters, and Army Col. Steve Warren, a spokesman for the Pentagon, both said Monday that they had no updates about the case. Bergdahl’s lawyer, Eugene R. Fidell, declined to comment.
I don’t know what they could be waiting for, the political damage has already been done. We already know that the war against terror is just a touchstone phrase when this administration and this Department of Justice needs something to make themselves feel better. We already know that terrorists count more than the rest of us. We already know that whatever decision the Army makes it will be the one that makes them look good on a particular weekend. We also already know what decision they should be making.
Added: Bergdahl owes those of us who kept our mouths shut for FIVE YEARS. He’s alive today because even though we knew he walked away from his post, we advocated for his safe return. We knew that he wasn’t worth a warm cup of spit, but we wanted him back alive, not the star of a beheading video. He owes us an explanation. He’s alive today because we kept our mouths shut for his well-being. He only had value alive to terrorists as long we didn’t tell what we knew.

I’m going to take a stab that this will be a Friday at 1630 news release from the WH or Army Press Room. Higher potential for that weekend being a holiday weekend.
Or they are waiting for something they think will overshadow it to happen and then they will quietly release it.
It seems that December the 21st would be a good day to sneak in a WH news release. It’s Sunday night, the equinox. Perfect time to sneak something through under cover of darkness.
They’re probably trying to figure out how to get a riot started in Cleveland over the Rice kid, then they kid slip it in on page 8.
Most likely they are waiting for the holidays next week to release it, as they would know no one will really be paying attention.
Yep, either of the next two Wednesdays with a release time of about 1900 EST.
I can see a small article, quietly released just before Christmas, stating that Bergdahl is heading home for the Holidays after being released from active duty with either a honorable or general under honorable discharge. Little if any mention will be made of the investigation. Most of the article will talk about his long ordeal with the Taliban. It will be hidden on a back page and forgotten after a few days.
One can only hope that a couple of those that serve3d with this puke arrange a welcome home party for him…
I know that is vigilantism, but it is well deserved.
He isn’t worth the sweat off any of those that died to go out and find his dumb ass…
Hell, he ain’t worth a friggin’ hairball coughed up by Phuzzz the cat…
Considering what happened in 1974, I’d say Bergdahl will get a presidential pardon before the end of this term.
The photo above is disturbing!
Regardless how he put himself in the situation, that rapist to his right needs a drone straight up his ass!
Dish out the decision and punishment!
Is it really rape if he was willing? Then again, even if he was, the goats and 6-year-olds probably weren’t.
Haha
Is that their right or ours?
Let me clarify … I don’t like theys man, boy and goat rapists one bit!
The decision and punishment needs to come from DoD and or US Army!

The Golfer in Mom Jeans is off again on Hawaiian vacation for 17 days. He made the trade. Don’t know what the wait is but it doesn’t bode well, as I see it, that BB hasn’t been charged. Somewhere, the editing and re-re-re-rewrites of the final report are being reviewed by a WH designee. My guess is Susan “Video” Rice.
With all the Stolen Valor going on I think that for POTUS to invite his folks to a rose garden ceremony Susan Rice saying he served with honor and distinction while ignoring the sacrifices of those who died looking for him I think all of that is more shameful than some clown pretending to be sonething they are not. To me it is worse for The White House to honor Bergdahl when he clearly needs to be held accountable for his crimes. Then turn around and suppress findings which are going to be negative ? I dunno guess values like honor and integrity don’t apply to them like they do to those of us who have served
Clarification: The latest B. Hussein Obama and Co. vacation officially begins Friday. I have no complaint with his mainland absence, just the cost for his supporting cast of hundreds. For all I care, he can stay in Hawaii until the next guy (and term that includes Wide Load) moves into 1600.
Which Wideload are you talking about, Hitlery or da Mooch?
The Carpet Muncher.
I kinda like carpet munching…and carpet munchers….well except the Hildebeast.
I still think Bergdahl should have been in the Stolen Valor tournament, due to his impersonation of both a soldier and POW.
I agree but it’s hard when you got the White House making you out to be a hero. ” served with honor and distinction ” they should be ashamed of themselves.
Shame? Shame?! The only way Libtards know about shame, is to look it up in the dictionary. And even then they go, “
(damned Kindle tablet)
“Whew! Sure glad that doesn’t describe ME!”
Bergdahl is the WH’s Invisible Man. If anything is ever said about him again officially, it will be in 2017.
yet this administration had no problem tossing the entire CIA under the bus…all in the name of being transparent. Of course that was over something that they didn’t do of course.
I suspect strongly that the investigation is stalled at the DOD General Counsel’s office. We’ve been waiting for one new sensitive Army reg to get out of that office for 15 months now. It’s politically sensitive, so you have a team of JAGs making sure that every Oxford comma is in it’s proper place.
Or, perhaps it got stuck at the SECDEF’s office. I bet Hagel decided he wanted no part of this circle-jerk and is leaving it for Ash.
Im sure it will find that he was the perfect soldier, never did anything wrong. Probably even make him the SECDEF.
///end head slamming the dash of my HMMWV///
Zero surprise here.
Too many turds in the punch bowl already at 1600 PA Ave.
This one might be more than they can afford publicly at the moment, so they sit on the review and release it when it can be safely ignored. Quietly press DoD to sugar coat the findings and allow Bergdahl an honorable discharge for medical reasons. Leave it that.
Comment after the holidays on how the President didn’t want to interfere in a military investigation and then applaud everyone for their due diligence in treating the safely returned hero properly and allowing him to finally re-integrate with his family and enjoy his freedom.
You almost get the impression that the WH has been turned into a Lift Station.
My uneducated guess would be they will release today that the UFC is getting a class action so most guys will not be reading that but reading about the UFC (not really but I had literally no guesses so this is the best I have ….)
My guess is that they will wait until the last second when they leave give themselves pardons and release that he did walk off and they messed up but since they are gone and know they will lose the next election …
I don’t think they’ll ever say.
It would fit perfectly in Husein’s ego of not having to listen to or explain anything he does.
I’m sure that B. Hussein 0bama and his handlers will say something like “Whitewash this or bury it from the Peasants!” as he whisks off for yet another lengthy lavish vacation at our expense. That, and I’m willing to bet the sniveling DNC lackeys in the libtard mess media will do all they can to pretend it never happened until B. Hussein 0bama & Company give them their next batch of talking points!
From the words of the posse leader in “Hang ‘Em High”, “Hang ‘im!” I blame Bergdahl for Ferguson, MO. Hell we’ve blamed everybody else.
There’s already like 100 pending FOIA requests that the DoD is juggling for this report, so they are well aware of the fact that they have to release it sooner or later.
I beleive that we told the Major General investigating the case the truth about his capture during the interview, and the investigation will reveal what really happened. The reason I believe this is because of his decision not to speak to his parents since he returned. He’s ashamed of his actions, as he should be, because he’s a piece of shit and he knows he should be held accountable.
I wonder how the Army is handling the personnel who work with him? Did they have to sign agreements stating they wouldn’t ask him about his capture? I mean, he’s working in an office with other Army personnel. I certainly wouldn’t leave him alone about it if I worked with him. I’d make his time in my office a living hell if he admitted to me he deserted. Hell, I’d probably kick his ass.
I absolutely agree with every word you say above. The Millenia must be at hand. (smile)
I also suspect that the reason his “office mates” aren’t talking to him is because I’m reasonably sure he’s been detailed bodyguards of some type who won’t allow that. (The reasons for the bodyguards should be fairly obvious.)
Having to live in BP bubble the rest of his life ain’t exactly quality of life. Even in Leavenworth the frown on traitors who cost lives looking for his maggot ass!By the way his anal orfice Will get enlarged when he becomes someone’s bitch! One way or another he’ll be looking over his shoulder the rest of his life!
