Alvin Bragg’s star witness blows his own credibility up
Michael Cohen was the star witness for the prosecution against Donald Trump. Alvin Bragg’s office is prosecuting Donald Trump on the accusation that the latter “falsified business records”. Cohen’s testimony was supposed to be damaging for Trump. Unfortunately for Alvin Bragg and for those who want Trump in jail, Cohen ended up blowing up his own credibility. He did so in a way that proved damaging to the prosecution. It got to the point to where CNN’s Anderson Cooper suggested that if he were a juror in that case, that he would think that Cohen was making things up.

This week, the jury heard testimony from the prosecution’s star witness Michael Cohen, a former personal attorney of President Donald Trump. The prosecution’s theory of the case has emerged as effectively this: any payment made was necessarily a campaign expense, regardless of other purposes. But that theory faces a critical challenge: were such a payment made with campaign funds, it would likely have faced scrutiny from the Federal Election Commission and potentially the Department of Justice as a personal expense.
During cross-examination, the truth-challenged Cohen admitted that he lied to Congress about past real estate dealings in Russia and lied under oath when he entered a guilty plea for federal criminal charges.
Cohen then testified that he previously informed a prosecutor that Stormy Daniels and her lawyer seemed to be extorting President Trump for a payment of $130,000 in exchange for suppressing the story about the alleged affair. Jurors also heard clips from Cohen’s podcast in which Cohen engaged in unhinged rants about the former president. In one podcast clip, Cohen said he hopes “that this man [Trump] ends up in prison” and “revenge is a dish best served cold.” Cohen continued, “You better believe that I want this man [Trump] to go down.”
Trump’s lawyers were quick to highlight Cohen’s obvious biases for the jury. In the opening of his cross-examination, defense counsel Todd Blanche said: “Mr. Cohen, my name is Todd Blanche and you and I have never met. You went on TikTok and called me a ‘crying little sh-t.'”
While Cohen’s testimony was meant to support the prosecution’s case, it seemed to backfire immensely. Cohen will continue testifying on Monday, May 20.

No way Trump slept with Stormy. He’s a germ-a-phobe, so you know he’s not banging some cum-bucket like her. Her testimony played out like one of her low budget scripts in her “movies”. This whole scheme was dreamed up by Cohen after he found out he was not part of the incoming Trump Administration. It doesn’t matter, because the alleged “crime” was falsifying records which never happened. The only things we know is Cohen is a liar and an unbelievably bad extortionist, Stormy is whore and a liar, and Trump should have line items on each invoice to know EXACTLY what service is being provided.

The jury is going to convict Trump regardless of the evidence
Could be, but notice since there’s a critical flaw in the prosecution, in that there is no underlying felony, it’ll have to be thrown out on appeal.
I figure one more trial and Trump will be polling at 60%.
It is such a blatant kangaroo court / prosecution that even a blind man could see it.
