So not shooting blindly through the apartment door works pretty, never mind. Thanks again, Gun Bunny.

I love these weapons links you guys post along with the Friday FGS. I had a Mosin back in the late eighties. Swapped a dirt bike for it if memory serves. Was impressed with the power of the round. Back then Norma was the only company you could get the rounds from, at about a buck a round. Serious money then. I found one a few years back and remembered thinking I’d buy one if the opportunity arose. The cost of the rounds? About a buck a round. With some other cheaper rounds if you don’t mind cleaning after every use.

Name edited to guard PII. Thanks for the kind words, Edge.

Dumbass stuck his neck out by taking a knife to a gun fight.

Girl fight! I’m sure we would enjoy seeing them mud ‘rassling instead of a gun fight.

“…she fired her weapon, striking the suspect… Her condition is not known.” Annie Oakley weeps. KHOU has been conspicuously absent of late, allowing Click2Houston to scoop them.

Betcha farmgirl could use her Mosin to take out that one man. Hope she is doing well, she, like some of the other Adorable Deplorables is missed around here. She cooks, too, you know.

A little additional info:

Her Callsign was Devil 6 and she crashed on 11 Jan 70 in some very marginal weather conditions, 3 Crewmembers injured and the Crew Chief was KIA. Total Flight Hours at that time was 1,449.

Just to put her length of service (11/66 to 01/70) into a little perspective (using the guidelines of the day), that bird was only one flight hour shy of receiving her 58th Air Medal when she went down for the last time. / s
