Democracy may not be dead.

I wonder if Fetterman will drop his lawsuit now that he won?

Beto and Abrams concede their race.

So many issues, so much up for grabs.

“Chef Boyardee” Congressman loses his race. We know what’s for dinner at his house.

Pithy and pissy comments welcome. Keep it civil, please.

Unfortunately a lot of (R)’s underperformed but Baloney, I mean Maloney, did get shown the door. Have some raviolis on me, ya prick.

On the plus side, it looks like John James pulled it out in Michigan-10.

Goodnight.

If anyone was wondering why the seemingly unconcerned Dems just kept pushing their unpopular policies right up to election day, well now you know: They weren’t concerned because they KNEW they didn’t have to be worried.

Mick

Yup.

Same shit; different day.

Just heard why Florida races were all decided last night. The Legislature and Gov passed laws that outlawed drop boxes and all voters had to provide photo ID. Thus, no mules and ballot harvesting. No mail in ballots in amounts in excess of the qualified voters. Amazing how that works when corrupt D-rats aren’t making the rules and cheating.

I wish the red wave was a tsunami in my area. Governor, States Atty, Senate and House scum all get to keep fornicating the population for another term.

I’m most heartsick over a couple county contests. But, there are 2,000-3,000 mail ins still to be counted which should, given the typical 2-1 Dem odds on those, decide things my way. Yes, clutch your pearls and take a swig, there are two Dems I’m praying for locally. Because the Republican candidates are just that terrible.

For the record, that last part is what has me most heartsick…that I have to pray for the Dem Machine to work.

In every case where Republicans lost, locally for certain if not everywhere, it is because Republicans can’t manage to endorse decent candidates. When will Republicans learn?

Pritzker is the next Illinois governor to go to jail as he makes Blago look like a saint. Bailey was both a terrible candidate and a Democrat shill. Pritzker and Dem money made sure Bailey got the Republican nomination, knowing they couldn’t beat the other guy.

How it is legal to pick your opposition is beyond me. But, as so many have said repeatedly, people are stupid and Republicans are extra-special stupid. I’ve already said to many I hope they feel morally superior picking a true Conservative candidate who didn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell as they spend the mortgage at the gas pump and grocery store.

The other guy was definitely not a Conservative. He was a Democrat that switched parties. But he would have won against Pritzker in a general election.

Dumbasses.

In regard to Maloney…

Inflation’s tough, but it’s gotta be a lot tougher when you don’t have a job.

How fucked are we really, I mean more fucked than we currently are? Extra double plus good fucked.

And this kind of crap, attacking the most successful Republican in yesterday’s elections, certainly doesn’t help:

“Trump threatened that if DeSantis does run, he would disclose “things about him that won’t be very flattering,” suggesting that he knows more about the Florida governor than even his wife.”

It’s MSN, almost as bad as CNN. Do you really trust what they’re saying?

It is kind of time for Trump to go away. He picked Oz and that guy was a truly lackluster empty suit. As are many of Trump’s picks. He has had his time, now it is time for him to shut up and throw money at stuff like Soros does.

On station.

Unhappy and VERY pissed off.

The un-holy trinity of Minnesota got re-elected.
Our chickenshit Governor Tim Walz has another four years to fuck us further.
Ilhan Omar is back; maybe she has some more relatives she hasn’t married yet.
Keith Ellison, the Islamic terror–I mean, dip stick AG who supports BLM, and wanted to dismantle the Police is back.

If you look at the entire state, every county is red except the ones that contain Minneapolis/St Paul and surrounding suburbs, and the “Arrow Head” counties (Duluth, and the North Shore of Lake Superior). The State of Minnesota doesn’t elect it’s leaders; the liberals in the Twin Cities do.

It’s amazing that with all the crime/no bail in NYC’s five boroughs, they elected huncle or whatever her name is. Didn’t NYS (not NYC residents) residents turn out to vote.

Drudge lays it out pretty well.
Almost all of the far right “America First” types
went down in ugly flames.

Ass Kicked J.R. Majewski isn’t the biggest,
but forever looks like the biggest ass of them all,
for throwing away a sure thing in the Ohio-9th.

You know, with Stolen Valor lies and classified bullshit and all.

Pennsylvania is worse.
It was so easy for the PA GOP to win it all.
Instead, the overpopulated primaries produced minority favorites,
sure to turn off some Republican voters,
and attract zero votes from Democrats.

(PA GOP should have had primary runoffs.)

Here’s what the PA GOP has done….
The US Senate will soon be 50 GOP and 49 DEM,
with GEORGIA as the tie breaker (AGAIN),
with a December runoff.

And now the entirety of the GOP
depends on
former football star
former mental patient
long time abortion hypocrite
HERSCHEL WALKER
to win back control of the US Senate.

It sounds like all the peeps that got futterman in like his idea of releasing criminals from prison no matter what the crime which tells me that the voters maybe thinking of a criminal carreer themselves./Sarc

MarineDad61

jeff,
Here’s the county map for PA.
My county voted 62% Oz (Rep), 35% Fetterman (Dem).
Most counties are similar.
Even Reading / Berks County favored Oz.

For those who don’t know the map of PA,
it’s all the crime ridden shitholes (but Reading) voting Fetterman.
Philly, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Scranton, and Erie.

Now add Centre County,
with the libbed out student population at Penn State.

MarineDad61

I’ll add….
It’s not lost on many in Pennsylvania,
that while Oz lost to Fetterman by 4%,
PA’s GOP pick for Governor, Doug Mastriano, lost by 14.

The difference?
1 crowed “America First”,
and 1 did not.
1 pushed 2020 election denier conspiracy theories,
and 1 did not.
1 crawled up Trump’s ass at every opportunity,
and 1 did not.

These are why 1 got ¼ million more votes than the other.

Andy11M

People may mock my Ohio, but we did pass a law yesterday that anyone wanting to vote in any election in the state must be at least 18, and must be a legal citizen. So this heads off those local government types that want to let non citizens vote and those who want to let 16 year olds vote.

KoB

Only semi good news here is “The Tank” got her fat ass handed to her. Not that RINO Kemp is much better. Warlock had a PAC that spent near ’bout $300 MILLIONS on his campaign, most of it out of state. That crowd spent north of $1 BILLION on 5 senate races. To me, that is insane. Now we’re gonna have to suffer thru another month of saturation ads from Warlock and another 4 years of wailing from her. Lawd Halp! Side bar note. The county that Firebase Magnolia is located in is over 50% minority population. Election returns show that 56% of the vote went Republican. Now, either most of the Black Folks stayed home or they voted for Kemp & Walker. The turnout of registered voters was over 90%. Go figure.

Don’t phuq w/ America’s most famous Italian chef…It would be a terrible thing if you somehow lost your nice cushy job.😁

For anyone following the nail-biter in Colorado, last night had Adam Frisch ahead of Lauren Boebert by 64 votes, but today Boebert is back in the lead by 386 votes. More votes are still being counted, including ~10% of Garfield (D+14) and ~20% of Pitkin (D+58), with Mesa (R+16, and the largest county) being all but done.

It’s going to be close, and some places still have it as a likely win for Boebert, but the numbers there, if they continue, seem to favor Frisch by small number.

LC

Well, despite it being 99% complete yesterday, now it’s only 98% complete, and Boebert has a lead of over 1K votes. Must be fraud! Or, you know, the estimates of how many votes were still due was just wrong. What a shame – seems like she might pull this off after all.
