Post-Election Day News
Republicans in Utah and in Florida celebrate good news. The GOP in Utah swept both the House and Senate races in their state while Ron Desantis and Rubio won big in Florida. Liz Peek showcased this event as Ron DeSantis being the “new leader of the Republican Party”. Vermont sends its first woman and openly gay representative to Congress and Derrick Van Orden flips a House seat in the GOP’s favor in Wisconsin.
Sarah Sanders wins the race for governor in Arkansas, following her father’s footsteps. Fetterman wins in Pennsylvania, Dr. OZ officially concedes to him. Jennifer Kiggans wins in Virginia, she will replace Elaine Luria in Congress next year, ending the latter’s participation on the J6 committee.
Claims of election irregularities have also come up. The Gateway Pundit claims that they have video and photo evidence that thousands of ballots were collected after the deadline in Michigan. Meanwhile, Project Veritas posted a video showing their undercover recorder being asked to vote Democrat:
Here, we have a slip, on a Fox10, showing Katie Hobbs winning with 53% of the votes compared to Kari lake with 47%, this was back in October:
Hey @fox10 what’s with the fake election graphic that’s got Hobbs over ?@KariLake?? Is this the same Fox News that called Arizona for Biden 5 minutes after the polls closed? pic.twitter.com/6tr2abF3Dk

Guess what is being reported today:
ARIZONA.???
The Maricopa County dump came in. Kari Lake’s position is improving.
Lake now trails Hobbs in Maricopa by a slimmer 53-47% margin and 59% reporting. Lake may now outperform Trump 2020 & looks solid in red counties, so now shaping up for a potential strong finish. pic.twitter.com/IxTXfBogwH

It’s as Team Biden previously said, we will not know the winner of some races until days after the election. Perhaps even weeks.

Now I’m conflicted….I know there’s a lot of work to be done by the leadership like working within the laws and increasing early voting and mail in which the Demoncraps do easily, getting higher registration numbers and getting solid candidates. I’m just not certain we can get behind the Egos here that aren’t going to raise a shitstorm that’s going to hamstring us AGAIN in 2024.
Derek Hunter had a great guest on this morning from Pennsylvania, an ex Army vet who ran for House and Senate who was a combat vet with a TBI and he laid out a lot of reasonable, factual straight talk about why the Republican leadership failed, and what they need to do in the future to work (within) the system like the Demoncraps do to best change our chances of actually *gasp and pearl clutch* WIN.
We came…
We saw…
We kicked their asses!!!
The Free State of Florida rules!!!
DeSantis smoked the huckster Chuckie by 1.5 million votes
Little Marco spanked Demmings by 1.3 million votes
Over the past 30 years, Philadelphia has solidified itself as the new Chicago machine.
Atlanta is starting to do the same.
I trust my bank account # with a Nigerian prince more than I do all of the poll workers in these cities around election time.
This was not corruption.
This was the fact that you nominated another grifter sociopath asshole fraud.
A slight majority of people can see through shitbags like Oz. You should learn to do so as well.
ALRIGHT, WHO left the manhole cover open?!?!?!?
WHO left the Outhouse Door UNSECURED??!?!?
WHO didn’t lock the door on the Desert Outpost Porta Shitter in Iraq?!??!
/and this thing slithers out.
I confess ChipNASA.’twas I.
I left the septic tank uncovered for only an hour while awaiting the pump truck. I was upwind with my back turned on the phone giving the truck driver directions.
Who knew excrement was mobile. Thanks for the tip. I’ll maintain surveillance on mine the next time I have it pumped.
Progs had a very good night avoiding a landslide. Give them credit, early voting and hyperbolic rhetoric did the job for them.
Conservatives simply did not turn out in the expected numbers. Why that may be, and what can be done about that in the future is up for discussion.
I don’t often engage Lars. My opinions are not a mystery and I’m not about to change his mind. But…
A couple things to consider before you take that victory lap, bro.
Control of the House and Senate is still undecided, and the Reps lead at least for the moment. A change in Legislative leadership would not matter a whit to Joe’s Handlers anyway- they’ll keep hard on their destructive domestic and foreign policies regardless.
More importantly, where do you progs go next with your rhetoric? Conservatives have graduated from semi-fascist democracy killers to full blown Godwin’s Nazis. It’ll be interesting to see what brush the proggies next use to paint their evil opponents. Tough to top genocidal war criminals.
KA-BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!
Shack!
BDA = 100/100
I was pretty glad to see some of the election deniers in the GOP lose; the rhetoric about democracy at stake, while extreme to most, is fairly spot-on for those who simply cannot and will not accept fair and legitimate elections that they do not like.
For the rest of the people, I fully agree that the rhetoric is verbal idiocy, and this whole team-like attitude towards politics vs voting for a competent person whose ideas you like is anathema to us being Americans first, and waving a particular political color second.
In terms of the road ahead, I expect the D’s will keep the Senate, and it’s all but certain that the R’s will take the House. There’s a bit for everyone to like (and dislike) there. It seems, from various reporting today, that the R’s are already learning valuable lessons from the night’s events. Good. Focus on good candidates, not the crazies.
(more)
My worry is that the D’s won’t learn the lessons they should because they’re painting this as a win on policy, vs a win because some of the opposition was truly terrible. If they could focus more on things that matter to most people vs token diversity and empty name-calling, they’d be a lot better off.
One thing does seem pretty clear – DeSantis did great. Trump’s picks did not. There’s going to be a bit of a showdown there for the GOP. And, regrettably, the D’s will probably stick with Biden in 2024.
Democracy in action, LC? More a miscue by Big Republicans that we’ve all come to expect, but half a loaf is better than none.
That being said, Run Joe Run!
You don’t have to worry about the Rhinos taking both houses because they don’t do shit like the last time they had both houses. I had a lot more to say and while almost done, I hit the wrong key and a window came up to see if I would refresh or cancel so I hit the wrong one and lost the whole page of my comment. I’ll leave it at that so I don’t use any more ink on the ribbon I’m typing on. later Alligator.
I think the R’s won’t win either house, likely because of wait for it… Sarah Palin and Herschel Walker, lols. It will be near deadlocked either way.
Biden and crew will continue to rule autocratically by executive fiat, continuing to censor and control most of the media with their lies and sicking the FBI on their political opponents such as parents concerned about school safety.
The new Alaska ranked choice voting stacked the deck hugely in the Democrats favor in the House race. On the ballot was one Democrat that would get all the Democrat votes and 3 Republican candidates splitting the Republican vote.
Same in Maine with a “ranked choice” runoff next Tuesday.
It will be the Dem, Jared Golden again.
Lol I seem to have found a local Philly poll worker, whose precinct seems to have another consecutive election with 120% turnout again.
I don’t doubt that the candidates that were nominated had something to do with it. But I find it very coincidental that anytime it’s close, these late election night shenanigans always seem to pull through for the guy/gal with the D every single time, in the same cities.
John Fetterman can now be found in the Senate…in the vegetable aisle.
….I was kind of disappointed in Fetterman’s victory speech.
Was hoping to see him tapdance to ‘Puttin’ On The Ritz’.
Biden and Fetterman can sit on the porch in rockers and talk about…. stuff.
The people of Pennsylvania get what they deserve…
A brain-dead failure that thinks letting criminals OUT of jail is going make the already crime riddled streets of Philly safer.
You think that fucking Lerch looking wannabe is going to do anything more than make Pedo Joe the second dumbest guy in DC?
Dispensing more golden nuggets of wisdom, Commissar? 98% of people see through shitbags like you. You should learn to listen when people call you fraud.
You may go now.
I’d be curious to know when and how your hatred for this country started.
Did you find a job yet? Maybe that’d help you be less of a miserable twat.
Oh, my bad…
You like to call people grifters yet support the Biden crime family.
Uncle Fester = Fetterman
Tuesday = AOC
Lurch = Biden
It = Pelosi
Gang’s back together.
Gomez = Schumer
Morticia = Hochul
Pugsley = Nadler
Grandmama = Warren
Thing = Omar
Fetterman looks like Uncle Fester if Uncle Fester was really bad at eating soup.
Or, Anton LaVey… if he got better looking:
Ming the Merciless?
Karizona, the New State will rise, hold the line, it ain’t over! Burning chickens can’t stop what’s coming…
I REALLY hate it when you start hearing “The people have spoken and they have clearly said… [insert the politicians interpretation]”
Yeah, they want more inflation, higher gas prices and all electric cars. Bring it! The people have spoken.
Last Hack checked, about 45 minutes ago, he found the following elections of interest to the Adorable Deplorables with the following results:
With 58% of the vote counted in Washington State, Clyde Shavers (D) is at 52.7%, leading Greg Gilday (R) at 47.3% for State Representative.
In Ohio’s 9th Congressional District, Marcy Kaptur (D) is up 56.5% over J.R Majewski (R) at 43.5%, with 97% of the votes counted.
And up in Massachusetts, Teresa English (D) is is trailing at 45.3% to Marc Lombardo (R) who secured 54.7% with 95% of the vote counted.
And in the most important race, Hack Stone is leading Psaul of the Ballsack 63% to 37% in National Capital Regions Sexiest Software Salesman contest.
,
Hope and pray you don’t have to do a runoff.
Just heard that Warnock-Walker in Georgia are headed for a runoff, neither got 50%+1 of the vote. Time for the dems to go to the “he forced me to get an abortion” locker for several repeats.
If the dead are allowed to vote, then why can’t they run for office?
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pennsylvania-state-representative-reelected-despite-being-dead
Maybe his margin of victory was delivered by the dead as well as the brain dead. But I suspect the mail in ballot mules were likely out in full force. That would also explain “Lumpy” Fetterwoman. The brain-dead voting for the brain damaged.
Propagandist sites want you to believe that “MAGA/America First” is “done”, and that Ron DeSantis “is the guy”. Don’t fall for that nonsense. The reality? The last I checked, 219 of Trump endorsed candidates won their races versus 16 Trump endorsed candidates not winning. These numbers indicate that a Trump endorsement has a 93% chance of success and a 7% failure rate.
Guess which number the propagandists are focusing on? I refuse to believe that 16 is “most” or represents “going down in flames”. The below image is already dated, regarding the numbers, but the caption is still applicable.
Fox News Voter analysis…
Most the voters were women, 45+, white, at least had some college (but most with no degree), etc. When asked about the area they lived in, 45% responded “suburban” while 34% responded “small town/rural” and 21% responded “urban”. More detailed breakdown here.
Nothing to see here, move along… “may take days see who wins in some races,” of course. (Al Franken “found” enough vote in a car trunk, supposedly… )
No matter who “won” their campaign, We, The People still lost. Nothing will change except the bank accounts of the professional politicians that are concerned with only enriching themselves and holding on to the power they have. Jeff points out, as many of the rest of us have, that even when the repugnacan’ts had full control of the grubermint, they did absolutely NOTHING to improve the lot of We, The People.
The Founders weep.
How much did Beto O’Rourke spend in his three failed bids for office? Roughly $175 million. He appeared to have set records raising money though. What is he going to run for next?
Steve Scalise is interested in running for House majority leader. He wants to hold Team Biden accountable. Biden when asked about potential for investigations into Hunter? “Lots of luck”, but he also said that Americans want to move forward and get things done.
Voters in Maryland and Missouri voted to legalize recreational marijuana. Potential start for Maryland is sometime in the summer, on or after July 1, 2023.
Another (D) from beyond!
The results of the races here in Alaska probably won’t be known for a couple of weeks. This is our first election using ranked choice and the way I understand it is if no candidate reaches the 50% threshold (and it doesn’t look like any will) then ranked choice kicks in on November 23rd.
It turns out that Representative Hank Johnson was correct, Guam could flip over.
