It’s Just As Bad in Canada, Too
Meantime, up in Canada (our neighbor to the north), the questions asked by a member of the Canadian government require only a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer, and the (*^%&^$#!!!*&!) person who is asked for a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer waffles and waltzes right around it, never saying either word and never answering the Member’s questions.
Not sure what it’s like in Boris Johnson’s UK government, but if I can find something that exposes this silliness elsewhere, I will certainly post it.

A direct question is political kryptonite, and must be avoided at all costs. When pressed, politicians admit nothing, deny everything and make counter arguments. True across party lines and national borders.
