Marines to “protect” Wall Street protesters

| October 3, 2011

You’ve probably heard that there were hundreds of protesters arrested on Wall Street> well, Ward reilly, the phony Vietnam Veteran and phony Ranger, in a link sent by Toothless Dawg, posted on his Facebook page that a group of former marines are headed to Wall Street to supposedly “protect” the protesters” from police;

“I’m heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform. I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:I didn’t fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it’s Congress’ turn.

My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let’s see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.I apologize now for typos and errors.

Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we’re there. That’s what we do best.If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That’s what we will be doing.

Yeah, guys, who wants to protect the rest of us who depend on the activity on Wall Street? You know, those of us who have 401ks and mutual funds. Um, grow up, fellas. if you’re somehow attached to Ward Reilly, the phony, you’re on shaky ground in the first place. What are you going to “protectt” the protesters from, anyway? From being arrested for breaking the law? Nice way to “defend the Constitution”. When you Marines get to New york and the protest, look around at the ash and trash hippies you’re “protecting”. Most are professional protesters and rumors persist that many of them are Canadians – so you’re going to defend the Constitution by protecting Canadians from arrest?

Someone asked me if Adam Kokesh is going to be there in New York. Apparently not. he was in DC protesting against Obama along with GWU students, according to this video sent by one of my ninjas;

I hate to sound like Mr. Tinfoil hatguy, but Glenn Beck has it right on this one, just like every other issue similar to this involving Arab Spring spreading. When everyone thought he was crazy, he was saying this exact thing a year ago.

The riots will come to the US. Anyone who says we need riots and revolution without a real message…in concert with pushing to re-elect Obama….is insane. What more insanity do you want?

CI

This is hardly the first spate of protests in this nation. Rielly and company look like they just want to get all ‘activisty’…but I’m not concerned that this is some sort of liberal revolution.

TSO

I thought Kokesh got fired from his RT gig?

Old Trooper

As usual, the smelly hippies have it wrong. Instead of protesting Wall Street for the bailouts and stimulus payments they received, they need to go to the source of those bailouts and stimulus payments. Yeah, they need to go to DC and protest the holders of those purse strings; Congress.

BTW….who was in charge of Congress when the bailouts and stimulus payments were made????

Flagwaver

I respect the Marines. I have several family members who are Corps and I know their training makes Army BCT look like Air Force ROTC Training. That said…

If a Marine, current or former, wishes to disrespect the uniform that they wore/wear honorably during service, then my view is that they should be maced right along with those law-breakers they are trying to “protect.” You can’t claim that you are supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States by supporting and defending people who are breaking the law. Hell, most of those people are talking about ABOLISHING the constitution! How is that protection?

TopGoz

I’d be happy to show up in my dress blues and kick the a**es of anyone who shows up in a Marine uniform to act in a manner that brings discredit to that uniform.

Marine 83

This just in. The roster of “Marines” protecting the protesters in NYC is as follows. Advanced party consists of LtCol Wolf, Capt Duncan, GySgt Whalen, GySgt Lauve, Rear party consists of MajGen Weber, Col Delos, and Capt Tran. More to follow as details become available.

2-17AirCav

@7. What happened to Gay PornStar Simmons? I was sure he would be in the initial wave.

Flagwaver

He probably has a previous engagement either shooting another video or getting his ass monkey-stomped by the rest of his unit.

Army Sergeant

What we need are folks to guard the rest of NYC from these idiots.

Marine 83

@7 and 9. Sorry, Sgt Simmons is responsible for directing the REAR party (if you get my drift).

Carolyn

yesterday was also the annual muslim parade in NYC – complete with praying in the streets and dissing america.

so – there are anarchists on Wall St. and terrorists in midtown……… CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU??

Casey J Porter

TSO, Adam’s show is off the air however he, or his LLC if he has one, might own the rights to the graphic in the upper right hand corner and the name “Adam vs. The Man”. When they got booted from RT for whatever reason, this could have been part of the deal or been something owned by him from the start.

NHSparky

Saw another pic on DU–the one in the camo looks like he just came from the Army/Navy surplus store. Gawd.

Doc Bailey

you know, if real Marines showed up, they’d monkey stomp the shit out of these smelly slack jawed inbreed pole smoking, rejects that share brain cells.

Seeing as Saturday is “international Zombie day” here’s hoping the zombies attack and all these fucksticks are eaten

malclave

@15

Depends on whether the zombies are the kind that just eats brains or not.

If they are, then the hippies are safe.

Doc Bailey

you know I always thought Zombies just ate people. I have no idea where the “brains” thing came from.

B Woodman

Ann Coulter has it right in “Demonic”. It’s the French Revolution brought to America. Protests about nothing and everything.

melony

oh shoot…they are just prepping for this weekends events in DC – October2011 and all the other commies that will be in town….just sayin

Cpt. America, MSOR 1st SOB

The system was set up by international bankers, as well as the laws governing them. It’s about time the people stop turning a blind eye toward the rigid constructs put in place for profit, and control. In response to “Flagweaver”, the Constitution was abolished long ago..amid a string of “amendments” or “bylaws” when greedy politicians decided that they knew what our founding fathers were “trying to say”. A corporation is NOT a person, and money is NOT Free Speech!! A country is not made from flags, policy, and propaganda, but of the people. And it is for every one of those people (even you small minded bigot bloggers here)that we will be fighting for.

Doc Bailey

Hey look a troll. Who knew one of those would pop up. Yes Countries are made of people, guess what SO ARE CORPORATIONS. They’re not good or evil, they just are. They wouldn’t have NEEDED a voice, if so many stupid ass hippies, and corrupt unions hadn’t spent so long working on the political processes to make sure all that money the “greedy” CEO’s make is “distributed” to “those that need it”.

Kinda like how UAW caused Chrysler and GM to fail, and how idiots who wanted everybody to have their equal share forced banks to give loans to “those that would not normally be able to afford them”. Essentially setting up the conditions of the collapse. believe it or not, when the system is not fucked with to give everybody their “fair share” it will naturally be FUBAR.

the Punch line. These smelly hippies CAUSED the problem, and now that everyone’s hurting they want to do even more to “fix” the problem. No thank you. I’ll keep my change.

NHSparky

Aw, looky there, a little puppy just came in and shit on the carpet.

But back on topic, I’m curious as to how many of these fuckwad trustifarians would be SOL should they achieve their goals (whatever the fuck they are–nobody seems to know) and tear down Wall Street and eliminate the capitalist system that was just fine for mommy and daddy to set their spoiled little worthless asses up while they “found themselves”.

Rowan Merrily

The marines are coming to protect the constitutional rights of those protesting, abbility protest and freedom of speech is what makes our nation different from the rest

Rowan Merrily

and to think that everyone out there protesting are all a bunch of “stinking hippies,” is to A) show no awareness of what “a hippy” is, as a fellow human being, and B) to generalize yourself into judgmental retardation and let humanity down.

ps. if someone does not agree with you, that does not make them a troll, grow up or act your age, for Christ’s sake, if you met Christ today you’d call him a stinking hippie socialist.

Army Sergeant

Hey Rowan,

I believe in the right to free speech. But what gives these people the right to occupy someone else’s city, against the will of most of the citizens, with no clear timeline for withdrawal?

Why do you support occupation? Why are you invading the city of New York?

TSO

Yeah, I’m curious how the right to free speech also encloses a right to surround and effect infil and exfil of private citizens into their places of work, like is allegedly going to transpire here in Indy. So, pray tell, where does the right to free speech bump into criminal confinement in your constitution?

Old Trooper

AS; I agree with your statements. As a construction worker was trying to get home, on Saturday, he couldn’t because the protesters were blocking the street. He said “I work my ass off and want to get home, but I can’t because they have the road blocked. That ain’t right”. They don’t see that by doing what they’re doing, they are infringing upon the rights of others to do so. Just like their utopian ideas about wealth redistribution. They say that “this person makes too much money and needs to give up that money to the government”. Really? According to those that did not earn it? I have no issue with someone working hard, sacrificing of their own time, to better themselves and to earn what they have and it shouldn’t be up to a bunch of lazy asses, who think that they deserve to take some of what someone else earned simply because they think that person doesn’t need as much as they have. They call that communism. I call it theft. My definition of greed is different from the smelly hippies in that I believe greed is when a person demands something from others that they haven’t worked for or earned in any way. These people are the epitome of greedy, because they don’t want to have to work for anything, they just want it given to them by those that get up and go to work, instead of sitting in a park, strumming their guitar and bitching about what others have. If Rowan wants to talk about the Constitution, I would like Rowan to tell me where it says in the Constitution that they are entitled to what I have, just because they exist. If Rowan wants go down that road of Constitutionality; where, Rowan, does it say in the Constitution that the government can force me to buy a good or service (Obamacare)? Show me, Rowan, where it states that wealth redistribution is an enumerated power of the federal government. Show me, Rowan, where it says that you can infringe on my right to travel unimpeded… Read more »

UpNorth

Hey, Rowan, how did you manage to post anything on the net? did you buy a computer? Smart phone? Go to the public library? If it’s one of the first two, you’re supporting “corporate America”. Well, more likely, mommy and daddy are. And, unless you live in NYC, and used the library, you’re a mooch, just like the rest of your hippie brood. And, exercising my right to free speech and free thought, I think you’re a stinking hippie socialist, without a clue.
Like the others have asked, what gives you asshats the right to occupy someone else’s city?

Old Trooper

“if you met Christ today you’d call him a stinking hippie socialist.”

Oh, I see; so you are using Christianity to bolster your argument, Rowan?

Didn’t Christ say “give unto Ceasar what is Ceasars and give unto G-d what is G-d’s”?

Also, I have heard the smelly hippies throw out the old saw about how Jesus threw the money changers out and that’s what they want to do with the money changers on Wall Street. Guess what; the only problem Jesus had with the money changers is they were inside the Temple. He didn’t have a problem with their institution, just that they were doing it inside G-d’s house.

Please don’t try to use Christianity to bolster your argument, it just makes you look more pathetic.

Sporkmaster

Oh and Rowan another reason why I do not care for Hippies is their actions at Fort Benning while I was there.

My wife had to explain why it was a bad idea to even consider trying to close both gates. That many people go off post for food and items that are not on base. Many times for their kids.

But these summery of before and after should sum it up.

ObamaGirl

@21 I know I agree when will people learn that different opinions aren’t allowed on this site.

@27 another vapid argument by Old Trooper

Flagwaver

Rowan, there is the literal definition of a hippie and there is the popular definition of a hippie. Remember, soldiers call themselves “grunts” but they are not subvocal throat clearings. Hippies, as popularized by the Vietnam protests, are a group of protesters who protest everything that has made America what it is. Let’s take a look at those evil corporations. Not like GE or any of those corporations that are friendly with the government, but say Corporation A (yes, Rowan, I made that up… stop planning the protest). Corp A is one of those evil capitalistic corporations that is hording its money away from the American people. Well, let’s look at that corporation with its evil fat cats. Like many corporations, it’s CEO and board signed a contract with the government to work for a salary of $1 with a bonus at the end of the year. However, the government went to the people and cried about those fat cats and their sizable bonuses. Because the people were enraged, those board members were denied their bonus by the government… breaking the contract. Oh, and don’t forget that they don’t pay enough taxes. They probably have a huge vault under the tower with a gold coin filled pool that they swim in like Scrooge McDuck, right? No, actually, they have employees that they have to pay, raw materials they have to purchase, and government fees they have to shell out. Overall, most companies are rarely “in the black” through most of the year. So, what happens if you complete your task and shut down that mega-corp? Well, you will have accomplished your goal of putting one of the 1% out of work, right? What about the employees? What about the retirees? What about the families that you have put out of work? You know, the lower-middle and lower class people that the company employed nationwide? See, that’s the problem with these protesters. They are simply parroting what the government wants them to. If you are able to look at it as an outside observer, they are trying to push a socialistic… Read more »

Thejester

I cry when hippies occupy the line at McDonald’s asking for whoppers. Aren’t these the same folks who cry about the “occupation” of Iraq?

Old Trooper

@31: IOW; you’re saying you can’t refute what I said.

Love to have you back in the fold, OG, because it’s easy having a war of wits with you, since you are unarmed.

Thejester

@flagwaver. Don’t you feel bad about talking that way to obamagirl? Isn’t it like kicking a yappie Yorkie dog? U know…highly satisfying but a tad unfair. Lol

Thejester

Sorry flahwaver…..I meant old trooper

Old Trooper

Yeah, you’re right, jester. I feel really bad about it, now that I have had time to reflect…………. Ok, feeling’s gone; time for a coldie!

Thejester

Toss me one old trooper. I’m not driving home.

Flagwaver

Jester, I love bludgeoning people with facts in a snarky “Doctor Cox” sort of way. Typically, when that begins, they immediately call names and insult, which makes them look really funny.

As for kicking yorkies, I don’t really enjoy it. Now, setting them on fire and throwing them at people… that’s funny!

Rowan Merrily

freedom to protest or would you rather live in russia?

UpNorth

You can protest all you want, asshat. So long as you don’t interfere with the rights of anyone else. You know, like the right to go home after work, or drive into the city? Or walk down the street without being subjected to stinking hippies blocking sidewalks and streets.
But, your “cause” is more just than anyone else’s, so you get to block traffic, and stink up a perfectly good park?

Doc Bailey

actualyl believe it or not there is no “freedom to protest”. You can SPEAK all you want, and while you might try really hard to argue that protest is a form of “speech” (side note: chanting something over and over again doesn’t make it true).

the fact that most if not all protests are disruptive probably has nothing to do with that at all. I’m sure the founders like Adams, whose fear of the mob actually got the troopers involved in the “Boston Massacre” off scott free probably had nothing to do with the fact that protests appear nowhere in the constitution. Perhaps the Whiskey rebellion is another great protest that never was? How about the Bolsheviks who protested pretty much the same things being protested here. I’m sure when they put people up against walls and shot them, they were just exceeding their right to protest by a tad.

Demonstrations have power, I get that. As long as said demonstrations do not infringe the rights of other citizens then they are TOLERATED. Even the idiocy of Under the Hood, which will “reenact” Iraqi Detainment on side walks, is allowed to continue more at the tolerance level of the police than the actual “free speech” issue. So in short boys and girls before you say you “know your rights” think again, read the actual laws, then STFU when the nice officer asks you to.

Doc Bailey

another beef being a veteran of 2-16, FUCK WARD RIELLY. I would love to kick his ass for the stupid shit he does (and says) about his time in the army, and about a BN that is usually out front doing good works.

NHSparky

Newsflash, noobie hippie–they allow protests in Russia too–even China, Iran, and North Korea–provided that the message toes the party line.

Kinda like what we’ve got going on here with a bunch of unwashed, uneducated, unexposed douchenozzles who cry for freedom (so they say) yet think more and more intrusive government is somehow the answer to all their problems.

See the disconnect there, junior?

Thejester

Flagwaver, I finally feel like I found an internet home with intelligent vets that I can connect with. In the most heterosexual way possible, guys. Don’t get excited Rowan.

Thejester

I do see where all you geezers go to bed early though…FYI Ian an OIF vet. Served with the 36th I’D and the 34th ID. Arcomm is the highest award. Was in the usaf first. Was young and dumb and got kicked out. Then went to TANG. THAT WAS MY REDEMPTION TOUR. I had to prove that I could serve honorably. Well I did it. That is why poses and facets pods me off.

Thejester

Darn auto spell fixer……….

Rowan Merrily

Freedom of assembly, and childish insults like ass hat do nothing to further the merit of your point of view.

the government has “the right” to invade another country, the country has “the right” to occupy its own shores when the government or systems of inequality and greed get too strong, it has been this way all throughout history.

The spirit of protest and freedom of speech is what the U.S.A. was built on, you are preaching from a warm seat apathy of “hey its working for me, so Im all for it.” but it aint working for everyone. This is supposed to be the greatest country on earth and we’re kicking family’s out of their houses to live on the streets while CEOs are making 12 million a year at 40 to 1 ration of to the average employee.

the death of all great nations comes when the children of those who made it great become complacent and think, our country is the greatest I dont have to do anything to make it great anymore.

educate yourself on the issues, people do not spend weeks out in the cold and rain for no reason, and watch the videos of the occupation, they are not all hippies, they are single mothers, and bussiness owners, they are grand mothers and professers, patriots, and heros.

here’s a little for starters

“All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.”
President Thomas Jefferson

we are silent no longer.

Rowan Merrily

“Every effort has been made by the Federal Reserve Board to conceal its power. But the truth is, the Federal Reserve Board has usurped the government of the United States. It controls everything here; and it controls our foreign relations. It makes or breaks governments at will. No man, and no body of men, is more entrenched in power than the arrogant credit monopoly which operates the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks. These evil-doers have robbed this country of more than enough money to pay the national debt. What the National Government has permitted the Federal Reserve Board to steal from the people should now be restored to the people. The people have a valid claim against the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal Reserve Banks. If that claim is enforced, Americans will not need to stand in bread lines. Homes will be saved. Families will be kept. What is needed here is a return to the Constitution of the United States. The old struggle that was fought out here in Jackson’s day must be fought over again. The Federal Reserve Act should be repealed; and the Federal Reserve Banks – having violated their charters – should be liquidated immediately. Faithless government officers who have violated their oaths of office should be impeached and brought to trial. Unless this is done by us, I predict the American people – outraged, robbed, pillaged, insulted, and betrayed as they are in their own land – will rise in their wrath and send a President here who WILL sweep the money changers from the temple.” – Congressman Louis T. McFadden before the House of Representatives, in the midst of the Great Depression, 1932.

Thejester

Thomas Jefferson also said ” commerce with all nation and alliance to none should be our stance” isn’t that what wall street does?
