Eric Swalwell Hints at New Impeachment

| February 13, 2020

Roger Stone’s trial is reaching its final phases. President Trump has signaled the possibility that he would pardon Roger Stone. CNN brought Representative Eric Swalwell on the air and interviewed him. Swalwell talked about the importance of an independent judiciary that is not influenced by anybody.

During the course of the interview, he described President Trump as taking a wrecking ball to our justice system. He also described President Trump as engaging in corrupt policies, of taking actions to get his way “bully style”, as well as having other undesirable characteristics.

The interviewer asked Swalwell if President Trump could be impeached for pardoning Roger Stone. Swalwell replied that no options were going to be taken off the table. This leaves the possibility, depending on which way events evolve, of having another impeachment proceeding.

From Breitbart:

Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) Wednesday on CNN revealed that the Justice Department’s reversal on Roger Stone’s sentence after President Donald Trump’s tweet could be an impeachable offense.

Host Jake Tapper asked, “Might you impeachment him over this, over Roger Stone and the sentencing?

Swalwell said, “You know, we’re not going to take our options off the table. We don’t wake up in the morning wanting to impeach him.

He added, “We want to work with him on prescription drugs, background checks, and infrastructure, but we’re not going to let him just torch this democracy because he thinks that he’s been let off once and we’re not going to do something about it.”

Breitbart’s link to the article also has the video segment with the Swalwell interview.

Completely orchestrated and synchronized; the demonrats are probably using a PERT chart to plan this whole shampeachment shit out for the next five years…

    • OWB says:

Well. There is one way to see that there is less than a year more of their shenanigans – make certain that the House changes hands in November. It’s up to all y’all to do that because the only opportunities I have to influence future proceedings have already voted against impeachment. (Yeah, you can probably guess whether I will vote in favor of those members of Congress.)

    • 5th/77th FA says:

^THIS^ Did we not FIRST preach on this the other day when the subject thread and the betting ante was “It ain’t (OVER) yet”? As I read thru the drivel that this asinine c*cksucking mofo ESAD POS domestic enemy of our Republic was saying my stroked out memory banks was zooming in on that. This sh^t show is not going to be (OVER) till after Trump’s leaving office in 2025. Hell, I don’t think it will be (OVER) then. Everything that Swallows well said is EXACTLY what the demonrats have been doing since Trump won and started dismantling their little fiefdoms. I had one nerve left when I got up this morning and now this article has done got on it. For the life of me I still cannot understand how people can be so stupid as to not only elect these fools, but to also believe the pure freedom destroying sh^t that comes out of their mouths. I believe that some are taking it as a challenge to see just how stupid they can be.

Wake up America! Not only is the District of Criminals full of fools like Swallows well, so are your State Houses, City Councils, and County Commissions. Virginia is the example of our domestic enemies doing more in just 5 short weeks to destroy your freedoms than we have ever seen. I wonder when him and groping joe is gonna put the nukes on the aircraft.

      Pitchfork? Torch?

      • David says:

He’s not alone, Drunkle Joe Biden recently told someone publicly his AK47 wouldn’t do much against an F15 and air-to-ground missiles. That’s two Presidential hopefuls who have threatened strikes against American citizens.

  2. 11B-Mailclerk says:

What did I say when they first started this crap back in November?

    Heads we win! Tails IMPEACH!

  3. Harry says:

    Eric Swallow looks infected.

  4. OWB says:

Hints? They’ve been saying it in clear English since the 2016 election, and telegraphing it before that.

  5. JacktheJarhead says:

From the same guy who threatened to use Nuclear Weapons on US Citizens. Go away Eric.

  6. SSG Kane says:

Wait, who are they going to impeach?

Turns out the foreman on the Stone case may have been a tad biased…

I mean, do they really want to open that can of shit?

  7. Mason says:

Want a Constitutional Amendment that removes the option of presidential impeachment? This is how you get one. Impeach, impeach, impeach until something sticks, amiright, DNC?

  8. Veritas Omnia Vincit says:

Impeachment over what? Correcting out of control sentencing guidelines that were trying to imprison someone for obstruction longer than if they had brandished a firearm during a drug deal?

A few minutes of Google Fu would reveal a few articles indicating worst case scenario guidelines of 36–48 months….not 9 years…as he is not a threat to the community and has no actual dangerousness to society at large probation is not an unusual outcome for this type of crime.

A purely political sentencing guideline can be over ruled by DOJ higher ups at any time they see fit to do so, there is once again a giant nothing burger at the root of this issue.

    • Mason says:

Comey absolves Hillary of any wrong doing (while outlining all the elements of the crime) and that’s OK. The DOJ defers to the opinion of the judge and makes no recommendation, that’s not OK.

I’m really having a hard time understanding the rules of the game. If Trump really wanted to, he could just pardon him and this would all be moot.

    • 11B-Mailclerk says:

Wait. Wasn’t the left shrieking about releasing nonviolent offenders? About harsh sentencing doing no good for offenders or for Society?

Trump is a touchstone that exposes the good coin of America, and the counterfeit coins of the bankrupt Left.

And they hate him for that, with burning passion.

  9. The Other Whitey says:

So Swallowell (AKA Douche Nukem) would try to impeach the president for exercising his constitutional authority? Copy. All suspicions confirmed.

    • Mason says:

They’ve already impeached him for exercising his Constitutional authority (foreign policy) and his Constitutional rights. What’s another round of impeachments?

    • Skyjumper says:

      Douche Nukem!
Swallowell is so focused on Pres. Trump, that he doesn’t have time to play with himself. (grin)

      Poor bastard. /sarc

  10. Ret_25X says:

Impeachment is the new Veto for a party that isn’t in control of the system.

As for Roger Stone, the only crime he committed is to be a self serving attention whore.

  11. AW1Ed says:

Wait until after the election and pardon EVERYBODY caught up in the Dem’s political witch hunt.

Make popcorn. Sip spendy bourbon. Watch Dem’s heads explode.

  12. HMCS(FMF) ret says:

Swallowswell needs to be booted from office and go back to being a full-time cuck worried about how to pay for his opulent lifestyle.

  13. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

Eric Swallwell is a 24K political douchebag that I bet makes regular visits to Brucie’s Bath House (Entrance in the Rear) using our tax dollars. May he fall in disgrace and forever be forgotten.

  14. Daisy Cutter says:

The Democrats may go for quantity vs. quality.

If they bring impeachment charges three times, even though they go nowhere, they can point to that and say he was the first President in US history to face three impeachment charges.

  15. AW1 Rod says:

Swallowswell may eat a turd. If that douche rocket and his DemocRAT ilk were serious about working with POTUS on prescription drugs, infrastructure, et. al., they wouldn’t have wasted the last two years trying to undo the results of the 2016 election.

    • AW1Ed says:

“…on prescription drugs, infrastructure, et al…”

And they would have something to run on besides “Orange Man Bad!”

  16. AW1Ed says:

    Fox News

“Any reasonable person would look at this and say, this is a real abuse of power by some career lawyers who are anti-Trump going after a Trump supporter at a level which they would never apply to somebody who had supported Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders”

    Newt Gingrich

    • OWB says:

      Yep. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Add to that the fact that at least 4 US Senators sat in judgement on the jury of a potential political opponent. Isn’t that the original complaint that was leveed against Trump?

  17. Green Thumb says:

Swalwell strikes me more along the lines of let me put my finger in you ass..

  18. rgr769 says:

The decision to overrule the sentencing recommendation of these corrupt D-rat lawers was not made by Trump. Barr commented today or yesterday that the decision to overrule them was made before Trump’s first tweet about it and he had not spoken to Trump about it. So, Swallowswell and his ilk will have to learn the hard way they are selling another fabrication about the President. I am sure the subject will come up next month when Barr testifies before Nadless Nadler and his committee.

    • Fyrfighter says:

Thing is, smallballs and the rest of them DO know it.. What they’re counting on (and reasonably so) is that the low info voting members of the Free Shit Army don’t…
