Cory “Spartacus” Booker Suspends his Presidential Campaign

| January 13, 2020 | 31 Comments

When parody comes close to reality. For a party that prides itself on standing against rich old white men, on behalf of the minorities, it is positioned to nominate a rich old white man. (r/The_Donald)

Another one drops out of the presidential election campaign, reducing the pool of candidates aiming for the Democratic nomination for President. Someone here brought up a good point about what happened to the actual Spartacus, with regards to his military campaign… Something about his campaign coming to an end.

What happened to Spartacus appears to be a subject of debate. Not so much with Cory Booker. In his case, he continues his political career. It was his argument that suffered the “destruction” and “crucifixion” in the hands of a blistering fact check scrutiny.

As for the remainder of the candidates, the number of whites to minority shifted more in favor of the whites. The article touches upon the “diversity” that the Democratic party is “known” for. But, even Kamala Harris pointed to racism as an explanation for the low support for her campaign.

From the Los Angeles Times:

The only black candidate still in the running is former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, who entered the race at the last minute, is showing near zero support in polls and seems unlikely to qualify for the Democratic debates.

The lack of racial diversity in the field comes at a time Democratic Party leaders are desperate to energize minority voters. Had black voters turned out in 2016 at the rate they did when Obama was on the ticket, Democrats likely would not have lost the White House.

After Harris dropped out of the race on Dec. 3, Booker warned that the scarcity of nonwhite faces on the debate stage could doom Democratic efforts to spur a large minority turnout next fall. The warnings brought him a surge of donor support, his aides said at the time, but his campaign remained on life support.

By Monday, with a depleted war chest and lacking any clear path to victory, Booker withdrew.

In one of the Project Veritas videos posted here, exposing CNN, the viewer hears how CNN had already picked favorites… Thus the direction of their coverage in favor or against specific candidates. There were plenty of factors working against Mr. Booker, including his own argument and strategies.

Los Angles Times has more information on this campaign’s suspension. The Democrats still have a black candidate in the race.

“But, even Kamala Harris pointed to racism as an explanation for the low support for her campaign.”… and the media and low info voters fail to recognize that only DEMOCRATS are involved in the primaries, so the racism she’s talking about ONLY refers to DEMOCRATS!!!

  3. OldManchu says:

Who is Cory Booker? Is he the short guy from Diff’rent Strokes?

  4. Combat Historian says:

I’m glad ‘ole Gory Booger can now return and concentrate on destroying what’s left of Blue Jersey…

  5. Roh-Dog says:

The Anointed One, Mayor Cory Booker, whose accomplishments include; presiding over the medical waste dumpster fire that is Newark NJ and being the retarded offspring of two IBM scientists, can slink back to obscurity with his silver spooned, lispy, self loathing ass.

F*ck him and anyone that gives this turd the time of day.

  6. NHSparky says:

Anyone who is surprised that the media basically tries to pick the candidates (of both parties) raise your hands.

    **crickets**

The DNC media arm has done this as long as I can remember: try to pit a Dem against a RINO. Usually (Dole, McCain, Romney) it works.

Because the Dems and MSM (but I repeat myself) know that if you pit a liberal against a RINO, the liberal wins. Pit a liberal against a conservative, the conservative wins.

  7. TXNorsky says:

    Who???

Heck, I even forgot he was even running.

    Departacus.

  12. David says:

Says part of why he is withdrawing is to concentrate on the impeachment. Someone told him Senators are in the line of succession so at about 90th on the list he figures he has a better chance there than with the electorate. “If I could only figure out a way to dump Nancy…”

  13. A Proud Infidel®™ says:

    Buh-bye, Fartacus!!

  14. I should have made book,er I meant bet that he would go out like a flaming A hole. Harris!!! I’m glad I shit canned those 3 Harris Tweed jackets and the 3 classic Seersucker suits before I moved down here to the Gun Shine state of Fl.

It is a shame we have lost “Spartacus” Booker. He was so brave as a congress critter. Well, we haven’t heard the last of his capacity for courage. He is just so clean and articulate as a Black man, sorta reminds me of the one we had in the white house a few years ago.

  16. Devtun says:

    As David Spade would say…Buh-Bye.

In terms of inclusivity, the democratic candidates are perfect representatives for the mentally ill and terminally stupid.

  19. Am watching Tucker Carlson on Fox at this minute and they mentioned that the lSMFT cable fake news or what they call mSNBC claims that the demorat voters are racists because of booker booking out.
LSMFT-Lucky strikes mean fine tobbaco for all the under 70 crowd on this site.
