Armenian gang extortion attempt led to gunfire at North Hollywood market, police say
The Royal Fresh Market in North Hollywood was the scene of a shooting Monday.
A shootout that wounded at least one person outside a North Hollywood market on Monday involved the business owner and members of a street gang who had been trying to extort $100,000 from him, a police official said.
Employees were cleaning gang graffiti from the outside walls of Royal Fresh Market, at 12811 Sherman Way, when armed gang members arrived shortly after 8 a.m., Sgt. Frank Preciado said.
“What the suspects weren’t counting on was the victim was armed too,” Preciado said.
The market’s owner had two weapons, and he and the gang members exchanged dozens of rounds that struck several cars and left the parking lot littered with spent casings, the sergeant said.

Mid-week, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, finds us with one mort, one inconvenienced at a Grady Medical Detention, and an unknown number of armed Armenians in the wind. Now that’s a little scary and just in time for Halloween.

“Reported” is a word right up there alongside “alleged”.
In either case, make sure yours is the only story told.

My posts keep disappearing. Weird.
Nice. That one didn’t.
‘Ed renting your posts out to other sites that need timely on topic comments. How else do you think he is paying for all of the gun pr0ned eye candy he delights us with. Todays selection of hand held Artillery is surely the long and the short of it.
Armenian Gangs? Guess anyone can find sanctuary in Commiefornia, except a law abiding taxpayer.
Chiraq 24 & 3. yawn…typical score. Don’t make national news ’cause it’s not a white boy with a scary black rifle!
Robbery attempt in downtown Atlanta? Shocked I tell you…Shocked. Where is ‘Cump Sherman when we need him? Burn that effing place down…again!
Break into my house at 2:30am and they won’t find you wounded; they’ll find you dead. Save a trip to the hospital and dying there.
That’s more than a little unfair, 5/77. I always attribute the author / owner of material I use here when able. If it’s not posted with the piece I couldn’t find it or the author wished to remain anonymous.
Right AnotherPat?
AP?
Never mind.
Naw man, it’s good. 11B-MC was ahunting for his disappearing posts, that would come back after awhile. I thought renting out some of the better comments would make good income for us all to keep seeing the lovely hardware you so graciously bring to us. Wading thru the wealth of potential FGS material is a full time job in itself.
Speaking of AnotherPat, hope that one is doing well and hasn’t gone full ninja on us. The Tide is rolling and the FIRST Weekend in Dec will be here before we know it. Imma gonna need some support here for that.
I have tried three times to post a link to the Peterson Howdah, a modern look-alike to the old Ithica “Auto and Burglar” gun.
Apparently the link to the American Riflemen article is the problem.

Reading to the end of the LA Times article on the Armenian store owner versus the Armenian gang shooting:
“The owner told detectives he had a long gun and an automatic handgun, but investigators didn’t immediately recover the weapons, Preciado said.”
Another case of a media story first/facts later.
Don’t forget, the North Hollywood bank robbers back around 1998 or so were Armenians.
