Kyle Barwan update
The Westford Patch fills in some information on the story we found on Kyle Barwan, the most arrested valor thief in history;
“The resident thought that the person’s story wasn’t ‘adding up’ and did an online check,” Ayer police said in a statement. The individual then learned Barwan had been charged impersonating a military officer, police said. Officers arrested Barwan and he was held without bail as authorities arrange his transfer back to Florida.
“Luckily he was taken into custody before he began working his scam in Ayer,” police said in a statement.
So, we add yet another mugshot to Barwan’s gallery, and the Patch reminds us that he’s been arrested in Kentucky, Illinois and Florida for the same crime, and now in Massachusetts before he was able to commit the crime of impersonating a military officer.

An interesting case from last weeks logs:
On Friday 9/29/17, Officer’s Lucier and Lansing of the Ayer Police Department were contacted by an Ayer resident, telling them that they had become suspicious of an individual recently residing with them. The resident thought that the person’s story wasn’t “adding up” and did an online check, which revealed that the person may be wanted in Florida for impersonating military / uniformed personnel. Officer’s Lucier and Lansing did a more detailed search using the NCIC database and began working with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (Florida). It was determined that there was indeed a nationwide warrant for the individual’s arrest, and the PCSO would bring him back to Florida once arrested by the #AyerPD. He was arrested, brought to the station and held for court on Monday 10/2/17. On Monday, the Ayer District Court held the individual without bail, to be picked up by PCSO by mid-October.This was an example of the great citizen’s of Ayer, working hand in hand with the Ayer Police Department (and by extension the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida), to bring a fugitive to justice. Luckily he was taken into custody before he began working his scam in Ayer!

“Zero” NOT “Hero”, Kyle Christopher Barwan is on track to have spend more than half of 2017 in JAIL. From his arrest in January, and the one in May, (0r was it June, I cannot keep track with this turd), and his most recent arrest on Sept., 29th, He will finish up the year with well over 180 days in jail. Since he has done all this to himself, we can see where he really likes to spend his time. He probably like the free ads that he gets for making the cover of “Prison Bride Monthly”.
