Monday morning feel good stories
From Kansas City, Missouri;
Officers responded to the shooting about 3:50 a.m. at a house in the 4000 block of East 69th Street.
Upon arrival, officers were told that a man had broken into the house. The resident shot the alleged intruder, who died at the scene. Police took the resident in for questioning.
Police said a second resident of the house also was shot but had only minor injuries.

Hhmmmm….how are Missouri police known for citizens rights vs statist law?
Yeh, what the hell did they take him in for questioning for? Another resident also shot? sounds more like “misery Police Dept” to me!
That’s strange. Missouri passed a permitless CCW law and an expanded castle doctrine law as well in 2016. Does this mean that the police in KCMO are uninformed AS TO the law?

Maybe the police want to give him a medal or get some pointers on how to shoot accurately.
He killed him, how much more accurate does he need to be?
If there was only 1 defender they could just question him at home. Since there were 2 they want to question them separately and likely with a video recorder.
east 69th as I recall is near the Negro Leagues/Jazz museum. Wonderful place to visit – and leave before nightfall.
Any street in KCMO that is an east street is best to be avoided. In the early 2000s I lived on a west street, and even that was a little dicey.
