Crying
Ol’ Poe has graced this planet for more than three-quarters of a century now and never has he witnessed such a massive and immature emotional response to a presidential election loss as what we are now witnessing from the Clinton camp. From the mainstream media down to first semester community college freshmen, the wailings and lamentations have been unprecedented and unending, perhaps lending further support to Dr. Savage’s contention that liberalism is a mental disorder.
As an old man who supposedly has achieved a modicum of dignity with his advanced years, I realize that it could be seen as undignified to revel in the grief of the sniveling snowflakes, but dang all if this little video with a Roy Orbison tune from my teen years didn’t just make me grin from ear to ear:
Dignity be damned, I just can’t help but revel in their damned silly self-pitying!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, best thing I seen all day you win the meme wars.
The upside is that these days you can probably get theses grieving women into a rebound three-way with just a couple fun size snickers bars.
Words from the Master.

Leave it to IDC SARC to point out the silver lining. We all bow before the master.
Only way you can get them into the hotel room is grease her hips and throw in a pizza.
I seem to recall a fair amount of crying over what went on the last 8 years right on this site…perhaps bitching and whining might be a better descriptor, but the left hardly owns the franchise on whining like bitches when shit doesn’t go their way….
I admit to enjoying the salty taste of liberal crybaby bitches, but let’s be honest. There are a lot of whiny bitches on the right as well…all you have to do is type in “War on Christmas” to see a bunch of righties whining like sad little bitches…
yeah….remember all those republican rioters in California, Maryland, New York , etc, when Obama was elected in 2008 and 2012?
Remember all those students walking out of class? The professors cancelling exams so they could cope with the trauma?
The celebs threatening to leave the US??
yeah….I don’t remember that happening either.
Maybe you missed these…

I’ll agree the whining is on a larger scale, but let’s not pretend the right was all cooperative and supportive either. My only point here is that there isn’t any moral high ground on either side, regardless of both sides trying to spin it their way.
Not denying it….but to compare the two reactions is hardly even close.
Do you really need me to post a hundred more? Five minutes on google and you can find many more such incidents throughout the nation…
All I’m suggesting is that while it’s funny as hell watching these crybabies, there’s no moral high ground for righties in this….there is only degrees of lower ground. And with all the “support” shown Obama by the right over the last 8 years I would suspect we will see the same level of “support” shown Trump by the left. And sure Trump has both houses of Congress right now, as did Obama…the lesson in a change election isn’t necessarily the candidate from the out of power party as it is about not wanting the status quo, but the electorate is really fickle…Trump better deliver or he loses both houses in two years….and if Democrats can obstruct him they will they’ve got very little to lose by being uncooperative…same as Republicans in 2008-2009.
And all I am suggesting is that a little schadenfreude can be good for the soul.
Moral high ground be dammed…morality is highly relative.
I make no apologies for enjoying the moment.
+1
Nor should you, my apologies for being a douche…just don’t want this next 4 years to be the same as the last 8 with a different set of characters if you know what I mean….thank you for engaging….
It’s to be expected, VOV. The two visions espoused for this nations future are so radically different that we are rapidly approaching a point where there can be no compromise. Each sses the other as the ruin of the nation.
…sees…
VOV, as I said in my prefatory statement, NEVER have I witnessed such an immature emotional reaction. That is a true and factual statement and no amount of citing moral equivalence on your part can refute it.
All this juvenile emoting is truly unprecedented and a few incidents by racist extremists in no way negates it. Your concession that the scale is larger is akin to comparing a campfire to the Chicago Fire when it comes to scale.
I know, I know…sometimes it’s just fun to drop a turd in the punch bowl, right?
It damn sure is my friend….it damn sure is, especially when it’s a slow news day.
Okay, VOV – I’ll grant you a point on that one. Personally, I’d have gone with same-sex marriage as my example (no, Adam marrying Steve or Amy marrying Eve does not repeat DOES NOT require that Adam divorce Eve).
Personally, I love the smell of butthurt in the morning. It smells like…victory.
Insofar as the Shrillary supporters – and ‘defender of marriage’ types – are concerned, I’ll just leave this here:
https://youtu.be/1H-Y7MAASkg
Believe me, I’m rather enjoying the facebook friends who are liberals crying hysterically in public with posts about death squads and laws to make being gay illegal…the histrionics are very amusing….
I guess overall though I’m not feeling super thrilled about the election only because Trump was better than Clinton in the way that being punched in the stomach might be better than being punched in the mouth…he’s not a great candidate that point was made by a great many people here who offered their relative distaste at having to vote for him…his constant twitter attacks seem beneath the office.
I’m hoping we didn’t elect the clown prince and we see a more presidential and less bitter and vindictive little man version of Trump…and grave dancing speaks more to the latter than the former.
But I truly understand the glee at the crybabies being so totally fucking wrong about the outcome…apologies if I didn’t make that clear and came across far douchier than I had intended.
Well, no, he wasn’t a great candidate because he was too reactive during his campaigns. But less reactive might have made people conclude that he couldn’t handle the stress of the job when, in fact, he was just blowing off steam and most people knew that.
The fact that since the election, he has picked people who seem well-suited to the cabinet he’s building refutes the notion that he’s all show and no-go. I say, give him time.
VOV,
Firstly, I see no need to apologize – you spoke your mind as a grown-up. That’s a refreshing reprieve from the euphemism-laden society we live in today.
Secondly, I see what you mean about Chump vs. Shrillary. Your analogy of punched in the stomach versus punched in the mouth is a good one. I hope that both parties learnt from this fiasco.
What the heck; I just love watching crybabies getting butthurt. If that is wrong, then to hell with what’s right.
Thanks bro, and yes the tears of liberals are indeed salty and delicious..
VOV, as you probably recall, while I was a cheerleader for Trump here on TAH, I frequently reminded my readers that it was done with strong reservations.
Now that he has it, I’m with you in being watchful to see what he does with it. One concern I have is that of one party having total control of our government. That is a situation fraught with political peril if the party in control does not restrain its most ardent and eager members. Let’s hope the Republicans are capable of statesmanship rather than being merely politicians.
I expect the Democrats will feel the effects of Reid’s so called nuclear option used against them at least once or twice during these first two years.
I’m hoping for a really dirty word (bipartisan) to once again become popular. Whether we like all Democrats or not, there are certainly some who share a desire to make a better nation and with whom there can be common ground. If not we are doomed to gridlock.
I share your hope for statesmanship, and I remain optimistic until such time as events confirm that optimism or deny it….
Hell, even I get some amusement when I hear of people unable to function as human beings simply because Mr. Trump won.
… But that said, I still think it’s possible this will have been the best outcome for the liberals. Had Hillary won, she’d have been facing a Republican Congress for at least two years, and probably more because the backlash against an unpopular, unliked candidate would favor Rs in the midterms. She’d get nothing done, and the backlash would mean Ds get 4 years with her, then have a higher probability of losing the next 8.
With Trump in office, and Congress full of Rs, he’ll have no excuse when he doesn’t achieve things he promised, like building a wall, which is all but impossible, and combine that with his temperament and already-high unlikability numbers and we’re likely(*) to see the pendulum swing towards the liberals. They’ve lost these 4 years, but have a higher probability to win the following 8.
I think it’s plausible that owning the WH for 8 out of the next 12 years defines the winner more clearly than having it for the next 4. Of course, all of the above is predicated on the Democrats not being complete and utter idiots and alienating potential voters by crying and skipping work because of election results. So, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Short version: President-elect Trump will, I think, harm the Republican brand for the next few years. I hope I’m wrong, and I absolutely wish him the very best, but that’s how things look from here at the moment.
Hope he harms both “brands” into being more American- simplistic, I know. Congress needs close watching as they have let the Republic down for the last session or two (at least). They better be watchin’ Mr. Trump. His appointments seem to be damn’ good so far. The Supremes? Will be critical. I bin one pissedoff Marine since RVN (2 tours). Hope Mr. Trump continues the march. Semper Fi!
Great one Poe! All I can say is dayum! Stick a fork in it.
thanks, Po, that was funny. The singer could bet it out almost as well as Roy himself could!
Almost.
You’re right there. Almost as good as Roy himself. I wonder who the uncredited singer is?
I have the “Suspicion” that some kind of a Roy/Unknown Singer/Terry Stafford/Elvis afterlife thing is going on.
Well, once again I screwed up.
The unknown singer is identified as Dana Kamide on regular YouTube.
Mea Culpa.
Pick any Roy the Boy song and you can get the same effect. Excellent use of one of my favorites.
Ooohhhh sweet, SWEET schadenfreude!!! I see that none of the candyassed cupcakes are listening when they’re told that life is unfair and they need to get used to it, they just go off and have another hissyfit like Lars! Anyone remember the arson, rapes, looting and vandalism at Tea party rallies? Me neither.
Muhahahahaha!
I remember one of the main arguments in favor of the 18 year old vote was that ‘well, if they are old enough to go in the Army and to war, they should have a say in it’. And the counter that ‘while they are old enough to be in – under adult supervision – they are not emotionally mature enough to make adult decisions like voting on their own.’ Makes you wonder whether after this election we should consider raising the voting age to like 25?
Just to spare them the heartache before they’re mature enough to deal with it…(ducks)
Actually, VOV, except for 2013 when sequestration order went into effect and federal highways were shut down because you could see publicly owned monuments from them (Mt. Rushmore), or national monuments were blocked off to people who had made plans to go to them (vets at the War Memorials), I don’t recall anything more disorderly than people throwing traffic cones on those highways into the ditches, or grumbling because they couldn’t get to their homes after work, even though they owned them, because the access routes went through national parks.
All of that was unreasonable restriction and the anger was justified and yeah, Obadman was blamed for it because he gave the order.
This is a different response. It’s from people who are physically adults but not emotionally adult in any way, who do not understand that in contests, someone wins and other people come in second, third, last, whatever, and that is what is behind these temper tantrums that have people doing very stupid things. See my article (Lemmingism) from last week, about people trying to block a busy highway in the dark, wearing dark clothes, or blocking access to a campus walkway just because they could.
It stems from entirely different reactions, in my view. I’m not saying that people on the right side of the political fence aren’t just as bad in some ways, but the percentage is lower than the left side of that same fence. WE aren’t crying ‘foul’ over the use of a single word. WE are not accusing others of racism and exclusion when that’s what THEY are doing. WE are not saying our way is the only way. I think we’re more moderate than that, especially here, and in most places I’ve seen.
Yes, I have seen some right-wing stuff that is quite off-putting but overall, I just think the volume of angst is lower. We haven’t stooped to the level of Hitler’s extremist right-wing stuff, even though in Germany and Austria, it is rearing its ugly head.
+1
When adults get upset, they react in an adult way by expressing their grievances in a controlled, rational manner.
But when babies get upset, they throw a Khrushchevesque tantrum.
This applies to everyone, regardless of politics. Be an adult, not a baby; I don’t care if you’re a leftie, a rightie, or a centrist.
I wouldn’t ever call Hitler “right.”
Seeing as how he was in charge of the National Socialist Party and all.
But my pedantic antics aside, I agree with you.
But he wasn’t a socialist in the true sense, either, and neo-Nazism is now considered to be extreme right-wing.
Semantic obfuscation- NSDAP- National Socialist German Workers Party(I fergit the Deutsche). It was a helluva “party”, I hear. Words-words-words.
State conrol of the means of production = Socialism
Nazis had total control of the economy.
They were slightly less “left” than the Soviet socialists, who branded Nazis (and Trotsky!) As “right wing”
“We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions.” –Adolf Hitler
Okay, well then how come all us dumbass conservies are labeled fascisti and Nazis, and the leftards are the liberalistic socialists?
In Germany and Austria, the extreme right-wingers are gaining more and more popularity. That’s my reference point, because they are also labeled fascist and Nazi-ist by the press.
As stated above, the Communists branded “right wing” on anything not quite as leftist as themselves.
Thus the very very socialist Hitler was “right wing” to the far left (only).
Anyone who calls Nazis “right wing” is tagging themselves as being further left.
You can sometimes make their heads spin by referring to Nazis as “your fellow socialists”
The Community Party of the USA was against the US entering the Second World War against the Axis (until the Germans invaded the Soviet Union).
Not really….its just because the snowflakes have started called conservatives Nazi’s, never has been a right wing thing!
That was quite an enjoyable three minutes. Thanks, PT. I have heard and seen many who were crushed by Wide Load’s defeat. Each makes me smile. I make no bones about enjoying their agony. It pleases me no end. With each Trump appointee, their wailing and my joy are renewed. It is wonderful. Being emancipated from the oppressive progressives does that to me.
Okay then, so if Obama and Hillary were both drowning and you only had time to save one…
…What kind of sandwich would you make?
BLT, since I cook the bacon in the oven and never burn it they’d both drown before I was done….unless they can hold their breath twenty to thirty minutes…then they might have a shot.
You da man! I cook bacon in the oven also.
Bacon…in the OVEN?!
Presumably you meant ‘fried up in a shitload of butter’, amirite? Served up nice and juicey, cooked just barely enough to avoid food poisoning. That it?
Tunafish. I would take a bite and then chum the water with the rest.
PICTURE THIS in your minds: You are somewhere in the Western U.S. overlooking a majestic waterfall. All of a sudden, you look through your camera’s telescopic view to see a raft with Hitlery Cankles, “Blowjob Willie”, “Ratshit” Harry Reid, Nanny Lugosi, Al Gore Junior and a few other liberal moonbats in a raft about to go over the falls to a certain death. YOU and you alone have the option to either take a prize-winning photo of the occasion OR rescue them from certain death, MY QUESTION to y’all is WHAT shutter speed do you use on your camera to take the pic, let’s say a clear day at @6500′ altitude on a clear, dry day….
If it’s a digital camera, set it on ‘Auto’ and make sure it has a WiFi link to your Adobe Cloud account.
I would just sit there and stare at the camera, trying to figure out where the “on” switch was lol
Like we would ever be that lucky…
Cold cuts, spicey mustard, lettuce, onion, and tomato on wheat bread.
Dang that’s funny…
The Twitchy Bitch of Benghazi looked good in that jail cell.
I wish all of those pussies cried that hard with the news of fallen soldiers.
“I wish all of those pussies cried that hard with the news of fallen soldiers.”
Worth repeating, so I did.
I’ll second that.
Speaking of crying what do y’all think of this? (I wish I had the brains to have written this )”As I noted yesterday, you don’t have to make a very deep scratch on a liberal/progressive to find a virulently anti-military wacko who thinks that people who serve in the military are not quite human and definitely not citizens.”
http://www.redstate.com/streiff/2016/12/08/trump-nominations-cause-anti-military-hysteria-engulf-media/?utm_source=rsmorningbriefing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl
Back to the big guys now, and thanks for your attention.
I should have also quoted the headline:Trump Nominations Cause Anti-Military Hysteria To Engulf the Media.
I love it when media moonbats parade their true colors for all to see.
Terrific vid, and thoroughly enjoyable writing. I might make an argument that instead of, “never has he witnessed such a massive and immature emotional response to a presidential election loss as what we are now witnessing from the Clinton camp” I would say that I have never seen such a massive and immature emotional response to anything. It’s a national embarrassment that these people act so stupid in public. But, there’s that whole freedom of speech thing, which includes allowing the mentally and/or emotionally infirm to be seen even in their most asinine phases.
