Tuesday morning feel good stories
In DeKalb County, Alabama, a homeowner saw a fellow with no pants sneaking around his yard. The resident went to confront him with a shotgun, but for some reason they got into an altercation and the pantless fellow escaped until police caught up to him.
Calvin E. Edwards II, 35, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana tried to force his way into a home uninvited. The homeowner had different plans for him, so they began to struggle. Edwards drew a pistol from his waistband and fired two shots, both of which struck the thief in his abdomen. The police arrested him at the hospital.
An armed, masked thief tried to burglarize a warehouse in Eagan, Minnesota until he got into an altercation with a security guard. During the fight, the guard fired at the thief and the thief was DRT (dead right there).
In Kansas City, Missouri, Tho Van Tran showed his gun to a convenience store clerk in an attempt to rob the store. The clerk had his own gun and shot Mr. Tran in the shoulder and held him down until the police arrived.
Kelvin La’Sean Brown forced his way into an apartment in Jacksonville, Florida. Pointing a gun at her, Brown threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend that he found in the apartment. Her current boyfriend came into the room with his own gun and shot Brown several times. Brown un-assed the AO, but he didn’t get far – police found him in his car stuck on a curb down the road.

You would think they would learn by now, Crime really doesn’t pay!
Keep giving the bad guys the DOT/DRT publicity they’re seeking and maybe some day, they’ll figure it out.

Good Security guard. Somebody is going to get a raise.
From my experience with private security companies, he’ll have to spend his raise to buy a replacement bullet.
The Alabama homeowner had a shotgun, had the perp outside, and the perp managed to hurt the homeowner’s wife & get away?
Was the shotgun even loaded?
If it was: Why on God’s green earth did Homeowner not protect his wife from the perp?
The wife may want to consider arming herself next time…
So, Edwards down in Baton Rouge shot himself? Or, the burglar and homeowner were both named Edwards? Or, the homeowner pulled his weapon and shot Edwards? 🙂
I was just going to ask for clarification there. I was or I am a bit confused as to who shot who…LOL
Follow up on the guy in Kansas City. Don’t bring a BB gun to a robbery.
