Tuesday morning feel good stories

| April 26, 2016

In Orlando, Florida, according to police, a victim and a thief had a fire fight in a home which put them both in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, but the upshot is that the home invasion failed.

Also in Thibodaux, Louisiana, another victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the exchange of gunfire with two thieves. According to the article, he injured the criminals, too, but they’re not in custody yet.

At a convenience store in Orlando, Florida, police responded to a report of another gunfight. They arrived to find Delvin Jamar Broner DRT (dead right there). He was shot by 29-year-old Titus Bernard who was legally armed with a concealed weapon. The pair had an argument and Broner pulled out his gun, but Bernard was faster on the draw. Broner has been arrested more than 30 times in the last twenty years on charges that ranged from drug possession to assault.

Looks like Broner pulled a boner in Orlando. The other Orlando story – well, while the home invasion project failed, the homeowner needs more range time.
In re: Thibodaux, LA, it doesn’t say who picked the gunfight, but it appears to be drug-related. I’m interested in who is who and what is what in that one.

Looks like Bernard cut Broner’s recidivism rate to zero. Thirty times in 20 years? Nice way to save the taxpayer’s money, stud.
