Monday morning feel good story
Chief Tango sends us our feel good story to kick off your week and this time it’s from Nebraska;
Bellevue Police say 21-year-old Tyrell Dalia of Omaha was killed in the incident that happened after 9 p.m. Saturday.
Witnesses told police that Dalia had a gun when he broke into the apartment near 19th Avenue and Main Street in Bellevue.
One of the people inside the apartment confronted Dalia and shot him. Dalia died at the apartment.
Court records show that Dalia was out on bail while awaiting trial for a January incident. Dalia faced two felony charges for trying to escape from police after officers broke up a dispute between him and his ex-girlfriend.

Tyrell Dalia…a good boy, who loved his family and was loved by everyone who knew him. “The man”, just never gave him a chance though, so he had to turn his own life around…his way. Bummer I say and the tax budgets in Bellevue, Nebraska will be looking up for more important things like, playgrounds, handicap accessible curbs on the corners, you know, things they need instead of a trial and housing to put this ass clown back in jail…again. Good for the heads up citizen!
Another freeloading punk that taxpayers will no longer have to feed, clothe, and house!
I love a happy ending.
Yes, another peace-loving fellow who obviously — wait, what? He had a gun? He has a record? He was probably whacking his girlfriend?
Yeah, I’m sure he got that gun legally, didn’t he? I’m QUITE sure he bought it a gun shop and went through all the proper checks, etc.
Okay, I’ll stop laughing in a little bit.
Ahhhhhh !!! Another happy ending for a Monday morning !!!
What Dumbass does a B&E at 9 PM? Probably broke up the Saturday night Pinochle game just as it was getting good.
Bellevue? Maybe he walked off?
The hospital grounds ….
All of yall can go to hell ^
I don’t know… This Ain’t Hell but we can sure see it from here!
Bunch of faggot ass nothing to do with their life but talk down on the dead.
At least we have more to do than go to web sites and look at what other people wrote and simply criticize it using the most idiotic language possible and revealing our overwhelming lack of intellect.
You should be proud of your education no doubt it will get you far in life, be happy that you are a complete and total idiot incapable of any useful expression of thought or idea.
We appreciate your words as they are a reminder of the current state of intellectual debate in the nation, your inability to express your thoughts and concerns is an amusing aside to the end of my day.
I can assure you that your words will remain here as a testament to your ability to articulate a salient point on a subject that eludes your ability to ascertain the intent and motivation of the author with respect to social observations on the appropriate use of lethal force as a repellant to criminality.
Thank you so much for providing an entertaining insight to the machinations involved in your expressions of disdain.
I’m glad you feel highly of yourself Veritas for the upper level language you’re able to use…Not all people are given the same opportunity. See as a Creighton University Law student I could throw out my new learned vocabulary too, but for what? You look weak, no logic or reason or empathy in your comment. It’s quite pathetic… Your boasting on a comment solely on the way it’s worded makes you look extremely ignorant and stuck up, but I’m sure you don’t mind 🙂 EVERYBODY is entitled to their opinion so do not undermine what someone has to say just because you don’t like the way they worded it. Tyrell was HUMAN. We make mistakes, some one us learn from them and move on and some of us still struggle with the same negative actions. Who are you to judge? Who are to say who lives or dies? Lets disregard his actions just for a moment and realize a life was gone; he was alive one moment and then gasping for breath the next. How you would you feel if this was your son, brother, cousin or dear friend? I’m sure everyone on this page wouldn’t use such harsh words….He messed up undeniably and there are no excuses for what his actions but it is crucial to see it from both sides. Were you aware the house he was breaking into was a drug house? It was infested with cocain, marijuana and pills of all sorts. So lets not pretend he was after an elderly couple. I’m not saying that drug dealers deserve to be robbed at gun point but you all are being decieved by the media when you are not fully aware of the situation. I personally knew Tyrell and the times I was with him were filled with joy. He was kind and excited for life. He made friends everywhere and wanted nothing more than to make everyone feel they had a place in his heart whether he knew them for years or days. I could never understand what went through his head while he did the… Read more »
Tyrell Dalia forced his way into someone’s house with a stolen gun. He did that while he was out on bail for other crimes. When the homeowners slammed and locked the door on Tyrell and his three friends, they climbed in through a window, with their stolen guns.
There’s no talking to some people, I suppose.
Let me see if I have this straight. A thug who was out on bail after being charged with two felonies, is shot while breaking into a alleged drug house (as a law school student you should know that. Funny you don’t give the apartment owners the same pass you do your thug friend.) in a robbery attempt with a stolen gun. And we’re supposed to feel bad for him? Your comment is simply ludicrous. You rant about allowing the opinion of someone (Stephanie) who wasn’t giving her opinion, then proceed to defend someone who any rational person would call a thug. The things they teach in schools these days. Hopefully you can still get your money back and attend a real school, one that might actually teach you to think rationally.
This boy never stood s chance. He was the son of Carlos Johnson who shot himself and his innocent girlfriend also in Bellvue NE a few years back. History of violence against women as well. Can’t be upset over ppl defending their HOMES and LIVES!
You failed as his friend. Chew on that for a while and don’t fail another friend lest they meet the same fate
As a Creighton University Law student you should probably ask for your money back.
Why you ask?
Because your lame attempt at one-upmanship against VOV using the written word is a great big fail. Punctuation, grammar, all of it, big – fail.
Sorry toots, you got cheated. LOL.
Stephanie, thanks for saying exactly what I’ve been feeling. I coached Ty in baseball for a year and absolutely think he was a good person. Circumstances changed that, but I am tired of hearing all of these gun loving idiots pile on. Keep being honest and real. Thanks for being so eloquent. I stand with you.
Cry us a river Joe and Courtney. You failed Tyrell, and now come here to blast those who defend the right of law abiding citizens to protect themselves from scumbags like your little bullet magnet Tyrel. He got what he deserved, maybe you should have done more to divert him and others from the path they chose to follow. We aren’t the problem here, it is you.
Ha!! “Gun loving idiots” are we? But you think a thug who was out on bail, facing two felony charges, who was shot while trying to rob an apartment with a stolen gun is a good guy. Who’s the idiot? Don’t answer that. I can see that it would take you quite awhile to think about that. There’s an old saying, play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Dalia played stupid games once too often.
You failed as a coach
I’m guessing if he had a healthy respect for other people and their property he might not have assumed room temperature so soon. And so it goes: play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Have you naysayers ever heard the expression, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then keep your MOUTH SHUT!”
So…..do we talk about the homeowner’s marksmanship?
Don’t know how many shots were fired vs how many hit, so I won’t go so far as to say, “good shooting.” But given the dead-shitbag outcome, I’ll call it, “good enough.”
Sarah, Courtney, Stephanie, and Joe, I guaran-fucking-tee you that sweet, sweet Tyrell would not have been shot if he had chosen not to illegally arm himself and then break into somebody else’s home. I don’t know if you ever watched “Firefly,” but there’s an episode where Mal is forced to shoot one of his former soldiers who conned him and his crew into a human-trafficking deal gone bad. As the kid bleeds to death, he says to Mal, “You’ve murdered me!” Mal responds, “You murdered yourself, boy. I just carried the bullet a while.”
That’s your buddy in a nutshell. Take your sanctimony somewhere else.
Awesome “Firefly” connection there! Kudos!
What did you say that was nice, Sarah? Maybe you should take your own advice and get a nice tall cup of shut the fuck up.
I sorely needed this amusement today
