Thursday morning feel good story

| July 17, 2014

Our feel good story this morning comes from Milwaukee where nurse Victoria Davison defended herself and her car from two thugs who tried to steal it while she was driving;

On June 23, the 15-year-old was one of two boys who came up behind Davison after she had parked her car near her home and tried to rob her of her keys, she told police.

According to Davison, one teen told her, “I want the keys, car, everything.”

Davison said when she didn’t give the teens the keys fast enough, one of the boys said, “Go get the cannon.”

Thinking it meant a gun, Davison unzipped her gym bag, pulled out her own concealed gun, and shot the 15-year-old.

The woman told WISN-TV that she had a conceal carry permit, but the Journal Sentinel could not independently confirm that Saturday.

The article continues that the 15-year-old is suspected in two other car-jackings last month, one ended in the owner getting shot in the face.

Good for her and good for them. Another citizen making it easier for us all.

Well done, citizen!

On a semi-related note, a news channel here in Slammin-tonio is trying to make a big deal about “officer involved fatal shootings”.

KENS channel 5 states – “The San Antonio Police Department had more fatal officer-involved shootings based on population in the past decade than any other department in Texas.”

What this tells me is that our cops are more accurate than the other cops in Texas. Our citizens are pretty handy with their firearms as well, although not always as accurate.

Glad to see our San Antonio police are spending more time at the range and less time at the doughnut shop.

Other organizations should look and learn.

Or that they are as out of control as the cops in Albuquerque.

Ex-PH2

Good for her. She deserves a nice bouquet and a letter of commendation.

And here I thought Houston had the win… hell, they shoot people in wheelchairs here.

Oh, good. If she were white, it would definitely be looked at as racism. Since she is black, it will be largely ignored by the media since there is no such thing as black-on-black crime.

Good for Victoria Davison! I am glad she defended herself and is alive to tell about it.

I wish the make of firearm, caliber, and wound entrance were reported in these types of stories. Would help with the economy.

Now just think for a minute or two. That is loss of job security for some poor bloody Prison Officer. To much of this and things could get desprate.
