Adam Kwasman confuses campers with illegals

| July 17, 2014

Pinto Nag sends us a link to MSN which tells the story of Adam Kwasman an Arizona Republican state representative who is running in the primary for a Congressional seat thought he’d go to take part in some of the protests along the border;

Kwasman tweeted from the scene “Bus coming in. This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law,” according to the website.

Kwasman later said, “I was able to actually to see some of the children in the buses. And the fear on their faces … This is not compassion,” according to video broadcast on the site.

Told by a reporter that the children on the yellow school bus were actually YMCA campers, Kwasman said, “They were sad, too,” and admitted he made a mistake.

Maybe we should do something about all of the sad children on both sides of the border for the Congressmen.

I wasn’t going to include the photo that came with the article, but Joseph wrote to tell us that Marine guy has his awards out of order. So, here;

That is what happens when you are just looking to have a photo op and appear as if you give a shit about something.

The other thing is, I just wonder if we were able to do FOIA checks on all the “veterans” down there how many would come back as outright posers, chapter cases for UCMJ reasons, or those with the Big Chicken Dinner…

Dumbasses.

When are politicians going to learn to shut their stupid mouths?

Pinto Nag

Oh, lookie! Another Republican doing something stupid in front of a camera. Apology to follow, I’m sure. This is my shocked face.

The bar can’t get any lower, Mr. Representative. Try not to trip over it, m’kay?

ByrdMan

“They were sad too.”

A priceless recovery. I would like to thank State Representative Kwasman for the morning laugh.

Sparks

Someone surely must have yelled, “BEAR TRAP!!!”, and Kwasman said, “What did he say?”. Just as he stepped in it. Keep your mouth shut and please, use your limited resources to at least get a positive ID on a bus of illegals versus a bus load on YMCA kids. Yea they looked sad. I was sad as hell when I was sent to camp one year. I wanted to stay home and play with my buddies in the woods, killing Germans, Japanese on Iwo Jima and Indians across the plains. (Those were the days you could still play “war”.)

Is that a Navy SEAL Trident on that guys shirt,the dude in the back with the binoculars?

I was wondering the same thing. I have a feeling there may be a good amount of posers in this group.

ArmyATC

Kinda looks like two badges the guy is wearing. I can only imagine the numbers of posers in that group.

John Robert Mallernee

Doesn’t he appear to possibly be a bit too young to have served in the old Republic of Viet Nam?

ArmyATC

The pic is a bit blurry and my eyes are old. Is that a Silver Star on that hat?

joseph

I believe it is either a silver star or a marine security award. they look similar.
bottom row left to right: marine good conduct, Vietnam service, Vietnam campaign.
top row: left to right: combat action, national defense, silver star or marine security. a lot of these people are posers wearing their stuff because they think it gives them some credibility. hahaha

Thought I heard Adm. Akbar yelling, “Its a trap!!”

That’s another reason that they’re called the Stupid Party.
