Someone sent us some stuff on this fellow Adam Daniel Franklin from Charleston, West Virginia where he served in the West Virginia Air National Guard with 130th Airlift Wing. He served as a journeyman loadmaster on a C-130 aircraft. See his perfectly honorable career on his NGB-22 (the NG version of a DD214)
Now, how does that stack up to his claims in this video;
Yeah, he claims that he has three Purple Hearts, that he served in Afghanistan and Iraq, that he participated in the raid to recover Jessica Lynch. Folks are telling me that he injured his back on a deployment to Saudi Arabia and was medivac’d out of the theater and eventually discharged. That seems to be supported by the NGB-22.

I’m a little late seeing this – I was upstate NY at one of my hunting buddies funeral. He happened to be an honorable guy that served in the US Army during peace time. He NEVER found it necessary to inflate what he did in the military.
I am incensed after listening to this scumbag. It’s bad enough reading the crap that these ball-less scum write about themselves, but then when you hear it!!! My God what the hell is wrong with these people? I’m probably 30 years older than this bucket of tobacco spit but am absolutely certain I could and would kick his ass.

I liked the part in the video when he says his shoulder was reconstructed from injuries sustained during “airborne jumps”. Kinda leaves the door with open to the imaginations of the ill informed of all things military. When you tell most civilians anything about “airborne jumps” they tend to think you were “Airborne” and were jumping out of military planes. Loadmasters…sorta…don’t do that.
Maybe the jump door bit him as he opened it?

To anyone who has never had the “pleasure” of landing and taking off from Yeager Airport in Charleston, WV I highly recommend it if you ever had fantasies of landing on an aircraft carrier.
A few years ago I went down there on TDY and noticed a big ass C-17 sitting at the far end of the very small, mountain top airport. Apparently it had to make an emergency landing there and they had no idea how it was going to take off from that small ass airport. Solution? Strip out all non essential items of equipment, drain the tanks to the absolute minimum amount of fuel, put a refueler in the air over the airport and a lucky pilot and copilot gun that baby like hell. Luckily it was successful.
While contracting in Kuwait, I made a stop in Charleston to visit some friends. It reminded me of landing at Lajes Air Field for some reason. Just seemed at a higher peak. Picked up a rental car and pretty much drove downward spiral it seemed from the airport. It was quiet unique.
You ain’t lived until you’ve flown in and out of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Airport, PA.
The airport was built on a mountaintop after the top had been removed by strip mining. Literally.

Had the pleasure of our chopper landing at Toncontín International Airport in Honduras. We were there for a couple hours and I got scarred just watching the planes land. The runway had a big hill one one side and a cliff on the other. I do believe they got rid of the hill and lengthened the runway.

I was working as a Security Forces Augmentee at Ali Al Salem the night of the Jessica Lynch rescue. The two flying units I’m certain were involved were the 160th SOAR helicopters, and the 4th SOS AC-130 gunships providing overwatch. If there were any other 130 airframes involved in that mission I would have to believe they would have been the MC-130’s out of the 919th SOS who were also there. I can’t see a reason for a conventional airlift unit flying H models to be involved in that mission.
So this bloke is a dip shit, with a liquid brain, and that Sheila must be an easy grab. People of this caliber need taking out on T.V, and let every one witness the demise of these fiction Heroes. The Load masters I met during my career in Cavalierly worked bloody hard and did a dam good job. With out them and their aircraft we wouldn’t have got the gear we needed. I have respect for every bloke or Sheila who pulled on a uniform and did their jobs. But these Wanta-bees and fairtailers, make me sorry for some poor bloody village so were who has lost their local loony and bull shit artist.

After watching the video, learning that I actually know the family and Adam to hear that people could actually create a site like this and call names when they have no idea. Yes he may have been in the guard for a short time but he served his time in Afghanistan and Iraq and has documents showing so, not to mention all that he has been through to help keep this country’s freedom! If Adam posts his documents and they are genuine and support the claims he is making, this site will issue an apology along with every poster here. You know why he will never post his documents? (By the way, many try posting forged and faked documents and it takes some of the readers here who are experts at document examination about 1 minute to tell if they are genuine or fake. If his are fake, he would be far from the first to try that. Next thing usually heard is, “my records were sealed, classified, etc, and can’t be seen”.) Because his “real” documents are just like the one posted here. They would prove, like the one here, he is a liar. So help him tell the truth or keep being part of his problem.
Adam comes from a good family with a proud military history. He was in KSA for about a month then complained about an old back injury he originally got from a motorcycle injury which got him sent home. Bottom line; he was never in Iraq, Afghanistan, and was never in any branch of the military other than the WVANG. He was a C130 LM. All the other stuff he is pushing is pure made up BS. I was told he was receiving VA benefits too. I guess all branches of the military have snake eater, bullet catching want-a-be’s!
What does telling lies about military service have to do with childhood obesity? How is he “brave”? Because parents can’t tell their kids to put down the spoon? I know these are a lot of questions, but they were questions that you should have asked yourself before you touched the keyboard.

It simply sounds to me like you’ve sat and “oohed” and “aahed” over his stories of Iraq and Afghanistan and three Purple Hearts and basically, drank the Kool Aid he was handing out. If you’re too young to know what “drank the Kool Aid” means, look up Reverend Jim Jones in Google. By the way, if you are a military wife, it means you have a military husband. Hey, military wife! Adam Franklin did NOT earn a single Purple Heart, much less three Purple Hearts. Lying about that is absolutely disgusting. It is one of the least honorable things a military veteran can do. The only other lie that a veteran can claim that approximates it is to falsely claim having been a POW. Was he that as well?
By the time some of us are finished investigating this piece of trash we WILL know if he was indeed injured while serving in the ME, if he was in fact involved in the rescue of Jessica Lynch, and when exactly he had an opportunity to injure his shoulder while “Airborne.”
Got any other claims he might have made that we can check out? All we have so far is that silly video, but usually embellishers have other fanciful stories to share.

Doesn’t it seem odd that with all the SEALs, Army SF, Rangers, and Marine Force Recon that were available, the military would choose a ANG airman with no combat skills to raid the hospital in what was essentially enemy territory? Embarassingly, this is my “former” nephew and he is a lying POS. He did injure his back in Saudi and played it for a medical dischage. Also plea dealed for assaulting a family member.

I know it’s been awhile since anyone posted on here about this, however….
I had occasion to run into this as clown this past Sunday at a restaurant that is local to his home.
I confronted him as I was deeply offended by his running from his vehicle (combat veterans license plates ( I have pictures)) in a handicap parking place to the restaurant with his family in tow.
I confronted him and we stepped outside to discuss a few things. He does still claim his 3 purple hearts and defended is “combat veteran” plates.
I have looked into his history and found that he was first injured playing sports in high school and may have aggravated the past injury. No doubt he was hurt while on active duty.
I am going to take my information to the federal prosecutor in my area to be reviewed and investigated.
I hope to find that as he was on video to endorse visalus that he was compensated. He even mentions the doctor that was shooting the video. Perhaps he had a free or discounted visit.
I will have them look into his enlistment paperwork and see if he declared the high school sports injury. If he did not then his enlistment was fraudulent and he should have his veteran status pulled and no longer be able abuse the rights that others have suffered for.
I am a veteran. I have served on deployment (multiple times)to the middle east ( not a few days in Saudi Arabia). I do not have a purple heart nor do I want one.
On the other hand my father US Army Ret. has in fact received 2 purple hearts for his service in Vietnam.
My passion in getting this jackhole exposed for the fraud, liar and thief is to help preserve the honor and dignity bestowed on my father and the thousands of brothers and sisters at arms.
