An American Carol
I finally broke down and paid full price for a movie this weekend. I had to…the local theater playing “An American Carol” only had two showings every day and both were in the evening. I know I sound like a tightwad, but I am, I guess.
I enjoyed the movie, but then I liked Zucker’s other movies, too, all the way back to “Kentucky Fried Movie”. Some of the stereotypes of the Liberals in the movie were almost painfully accurate. And we’ve seen that Bill O’Reilly is great as an actor as long as he only plays himself.
I’m sure not all of the actors were Conservatives. David Alan Grier and Paris Hilton are two glaring examples.
You probably won’t hear this many places, but An American Carol beat it’s main rival Bill Mahar’s Religulous last weekend, Zucker’s finishing eighth over Mahar’s 10th place finish.
If you want to laugh at Arab terrorists in public again, if the thought of judge Dennis Hopper defending the 10 Commandments from zombie ACLU lawyers with a shotgun is your cup of tea, get out there and watch An American Carol this weekend. It was worth paying full price.

I was in Iraq twice. And Bosnia. I had more time is the fucking chow line than you have on earth. I have combat boots older (and smarter) than you.
