Dumbass sends kid to school with gun
Somehow a woman in Queens got a .22 cal. gun and a flare pistol along with what looks like a ten-round magazine (also 14 more bullets in a baggie) and after “”out walking the streets of Queens late Wednesday night” with the guns in her son’s backpack and she forgot to take them out” before she took him to school. From CNN:
She rushed back to school after dropping him off Thursday and asked the boy what he’d done with the gun, Browne said.
When the boy told her he’d handed it over to a classmate, she finally came clean to administrators, who put the school on lockdown and called police.
As it turns out, the boy had given away the flare gun, but police found the pistol, the loaded magazine and the bag of bullets still in his bag, according to Browne.
Nobody was hurt, but police arrested Farley on Friday on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a firearm. The pistol was unlicensed, Browne said.
Imagine that – an unlicensed gun in New York City. But I thought that New York had a handle on their gun problem by making it illegal to own one. And since there’s no program for licensing, no requirement for gun safety training, people are walking the streets with guns in their kids’ backpacks.

Well, it’s comforting to know that the NYC public school system is ready to protect its students. No doubt the kid showed off the .22 and ammo when he pulled the flaregun out and handed it to another student. He had walked into school with a gun and ammo and no teacher or administrator was the wiser until mommie dearest arrived to retrieve the goodies. Then, the school was put on lockdown. Wonderful. Quick! shut the gate! The horse is gone!

Thus, if that kid wanted to shoot up the place, there would have been no one there to stop him. He derives some pleasure from getting the lib flag shot (they come in two colors, solid red and solid yellow) from his grip, picking it up again, and repeating that exercise over and over. On the other hand, there’s OG, a pernicious sort who reminds me of the quintessential spoiled brat whose miserable life is improved, in her view, only by annoying others. She claims many things, not one of which is credible. Her latest claim, that she is pursuing a Ph.D. in orca studies, or some such thing, is patently ridiculous. Many spankings likely would have helped her years ago but now it’s far too late.
