Four shot in Roanoke, 17-year-old identified as suspect

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — A Sunday morning shooting left four people hurt.
Roanoke Police arrived at the scene on the 2200 block of Orange Avenue Northwest at 1:55 a.m. Police say a 17-year-old boy and an adult man were taken to the hospital with critical gunshot wounds.
As officers were securing the scene, they say they found another man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound inside a home. Later a fourth man was reported to be at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. Police determined all four were hurt in the same incident.
RPD says after their preliminary investigation, they believe the 17-year-old pulled a gun and shot the other men, one of whom fired back and shot the teenager.
Police say charges are pending.

Man shot, killed after breaking into ex’s Fort Worth apartment
On Sunday morning at around 11:21am, Fort Worth police were called to a shooting at the Wildland Ranch Apartments, 2910 Watermark Drive.
Officers arrived to find a man deceased on the third floor of an apartment building.
Further investigation determined the victim broke into his ex-girlfriend’s apartment, who was then confronted by the ex-girlfriend and another male.
The male accompanying the female pulled a handgun and shot the victim, killing him.
No arrests have been made. The male shooter is cooperating with Fort Worth police.
The incident remains under investigation.

Since taking down the War Memorials and changing the names of the Military Installations didn’t stop all of the crime in The Old Dominion State, maybe…just maybe, when the UDC loses their non-profit 501C3 status causing The Ladies to lose their property, the crime will go away.

Does it take the old style cassettes?
Yea…not sure I’m getting the concept. Fold it up so it’s easy to conceal? But then it would take too long to deploy in many self-defense scenarios. Fit it in a backpack? There are already “takedown” and fold up carbines for that, that have barrels long enough you won’t need to register with the ATF and pay for a tax stamp. I’ve got a Kel-Tec Sub2000 for that purpose. Folds down to about 18″.
Granted, this one is smaller, but also has a shorter barrel, meaning lower muzzle velocity and less accuracy.
Truck gun? Again, don’t see how this is preferable to a Sub2000 or similar pistol caliber carbine…and I prefer an actual rifle for that anyway. I carry a handgun to fire handgun cartridges out of, if I need a real gun, I want a real caliber.
Just not seeing the use case for this thing. Maybe someone else can enlighten me.

If Zev is doing it, expect Glock internals. I fail to see a significant advantage over many 9mm handguns, especially those set up for red dot sights with a bit of rail on the dust cover. With the butt stock extended, it’s venturing into SBR turf.
