Tuesday with Claymore on Wednesday

| November 7, 2012

As you can imagine, the DUmbasses are elated at last night’s results. I suppose you can’t blame them. I’m reminded of the cautionary quote, “Be careful what you wish for.” Apparently a lot of people are wishing for free iPhones and to have their college loans paid off by the taxpayers…but I digress. Down the rabbit hole with you!

Putting the anal in analysis.

Gracious in victory

Dirty Harry

Getting slightly ahead of ourselves?

Well at least we’ll get a clown show.

Dumbshine State

New Christie Minstrel

Giving Olbermann his due?

Watching the watchers

What the world needs now…

The Jar Jar Binks of the Star Trek world.

Dare we say it? Revenge?

I agree…the rest of the Dems should just adopt Bernie’s moniker.

“Because America needs more crazy eyes and forked tongues.”

Yeah, the irony being you guys had already been talking this up for a month.

Check your gag reflex.

$16T in debt, but not for sale?

Empty chair…empty threat….empty head?

I bet my leftard Facebook friends are more ignorant than yours.

Classy

“And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

You’re going to wish for Big Money when you see your Big Taxes in January.

Changing the tone…

If you’re still living in California, you deserve what you get.

…except for the other 49% of the nation?

Keeping it class(y) warfare.

Republicans “should be made to cooperate”.

Translation: You can’t quit, your guy lost, so get to work! Millions on welfare are depending on you!

Winning life’s lottery

I actually know a small businessman who will follow through with this…it wasn’t a threat, it was a reality of where his business would be headed in a second Obama administration. To the millennial dumbasses who work for him, they didn’t see the correlation, but they soon will.

POTUS for SCOTUS to SCREWUS

And finally, this post sort of sums up how I think the state of politics have devolved over the last decade or so. While it’s always been a beauty pageant of sorts, of late, it’s taken on the flavor of a game show or sporting event. Atlas is shrugging. Do you have your exit strategy ready?

A friend of mine (that Jonn and TSO know) called me this morning with a very prophetic statement. He said “the parasite has killed the host”, meaning that we, as a country, have now gone over the apex of takers out numbering makers.

Me? I’m disinterested, because I know that no matter when I get laid off here at work, I still be gettin my free shit from Obama’s stash. Woo hoo!!!!!

2-17 Air Cav

Right back on the horse. Good for you, Claymore. I’m in mourning and still dumbstruck by the result. I do not anyone to tell me there’s a silver lining or mention 2016. The country has spoken and what it said is horrifying. So, now it’s Nightmare at 1600, Part II. A nuclear Iran, a moron for VP, sequestration, Benghazi, obamacare, higher taxes, more spending, expansion of welfare. It’s a freakin’ doomsday scenario. And then there’s the terrorism threat–from white, middle class, American males, of course. I’m done. See you in a week or a month or whenever.

I’m also taking some time off. I’ve got health & financial problems to deal with, and those need to get addressed soonest.

As to jobs, I know for a fact that two of our local employers will be reducing everyone to part time status, and paying the health-care fines. It simply isn’t financially feasible for them to keep on with the status quo.

Idiocracy isn’t just a fictional movie anymore. It’s pretty bad when I put on my uniform and realize that I’m defending people who can’t comprehend how badly the situation has just become.

Claymore

Uncle Claymore’s advice: buy ammo now.

Jeff

Who knoew I was better off than I was four years ago certainly not me.

Twist

I can’t bring myself to click on any of the links this week. I don’t think I can handle them celebrating the fact that America very well may be screwed.

OWB

We, too, will be fine because we are survivors. Guess I am just disappointed. Not really surprised, but extremely disappointed.

We who have memories of the 50’s are perhaps grieving the most for our country. The hope and prosperity we all had then and were willing to share with all others will be missed. It is not so much what has been taken from me that I grieve but the opportunities that all others will now not have. Sad.

Claymore

Who I really feel badly for are kids like my son, who is only 13 and yet understood what the election meant to him last night. He looked at the screen and said, “He got re-elected? Great.”

Old 21B

I thought I had gotten over the urge to click the links, I truely did, but then I couldn’t resist and clicked a couple this morning…why oh why did I do that. I don’t have high blood pressure, unless I start reading the screed on that site.

ex AF

Well the term dumb fuck enlisted still holds.

Jonn Lilyea

Well, just think how you’re better off now than you will be in four more years.

B Woodman

Not yet ready to Shrug and Go Galt, but I’m working on it. It’s a never ending project.

B Woodman

Ps – thanks for hosting the live blog. Lots of fun and frustration. Where’s that troll, Fuckeye Bob?

It was an American election, our side lost, and like Americans since 1865, we don’t engage in violence because our side lost.

Every indicator said Romney would win, even win big. Professional pundits who’ve got solid track records in predicting election outcomes were, all of them, wrong and so wrong that they still don’t know what happened even as they offer mea culpa.

Do I think something in the milk ain’t clean? Yep. But today starts the 2014 midterm campaign and the 2016 campaign (Biden, Hillary, and Mark Warner should make for a interesting campaign).
