Morning phony phunny

| April 10, 2012

TT sends a link to the most fearsome SEAL on the internet. An expert in the business of killing people, he can’t spell his areas of expertise.

Not saying Carlos Hathcock didn’t make the legendary shot that took out a VC sniper through the scope, but the Myth Busters tried to replicate the shot, using the same rifle, round and the scope the VC sniper would have had, and they couldn’t replicate it. The sniper scope changed the path of the bullet too much for it to travel straight down the tube.

If I were an atheist, I’d have to call Hathcock’s claim BS, since acts of God/miracles don’t exist in atheism.

DaveO-I’ve seen that same (excellent) Mythbusters episode. The fans disputed their findings by noting that Hathcock could have used an armor piercing round and they revisited the myth and found it plausible. What actually happened, who knows. I mean it’s totally unheard of for the Marines to exaggerate an accomplishment for the Corps own purposes right?

Beat somebody to death with a banana…I just spit coffee all over my keyboard…

Why the fuck should I, faggot?

You guys listed an obvious and often copy-pasted joke as an attempt at stealing valor.

Hilarious that your response to someone pointing out your stupidity is “fuck you u suck ashole 🙁 “

Mitch

Yeah this is a running copy and pasted internet joke which refrences the way COD players talk to each other over game chat. Its intentionally satirical…gorilla was probally misspelt on purpose.

Denise

I have never been in the military but whenever I hear an interview or read about a SEAL, they never say “I graduated from the Seals.” It is always referred to as BUD/S. And sometimes they will add class number.

Denise

Sorry, I’m not done yet….I take SERIOUS OFFENSE, as a civilian, that this POS has the nerve to disrespect Chris Kyle with this mockery. Granted this probably came out before Mr. Kyle’s book and his untimely death but really?! 300 confirmed sniper kills?! WTF?!

This is an internet meme, this is so copied, it hurts to look at it now

HS Sophomore

I have more than 300 confirmed kills on Modern Warfare. That makes me even better than that wimp Chris Kyle, right?

HS Sophomore

I really can’t believe this guy is for real. Come on—I’ve been with a lot of stupid people and a lot of smart ones (HS for you), and I can’t think of a single person off the top of my head who is really and truly dumb enough to actually expect people to believe in or be intimidated by and obvious internet tough guy like this. “300 confirmed kills”, entire arsenal of the USMC—Geez, really?
