US Attorney vows to continue search for right wing terrorists after Hutaree fiasco

| April 2, 2012

Jack Kay, a professor of communication at Eastern Michigan University, in the Washington Times today criticizes the US Attorney for arresting and losing the case against the clowns who called themselves Huttarees.

“I think this case will make the government think very carefully about using that charge in the future because it’s so complex, and it’s hard to get a jury to fully understand that you have to make all the links – to get from just talk about it, to planning, to action,” he said.

“There was a lot of anti-government talk and a lot of pretty ugly talk, but they just did not seem to completely put together the type of overthrow of the government that was being called for” by federal prosecutors, Mr. Kay added.

Even a defendent’s wife saw her husband’s activities as a bit clownish;

“We never wanted to take over the federal government,” Mrs. Stone told the AP. “We never wanted to kill a police officer. Everything was taken out of context.”

She told reporters: “We weren’t dangerous. We couldn’t overthrow F-Troop.”

But, egg on her face, won’t deter the US prosecutor in the case;

U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade, speaking to reporters after Thursday’s hearing, said that the Hutaree acquittals won’t stop her prosecutors for taking on cases of home-grown terrorism, citing Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh as precedent for action.

Yep, there’s Timothy McVeigh again. How many militia plots have there been since 1995? I’m guessing here, because the media hasn’t made headlines of any other than the Hutarees, but, none. Now, how many “lone wolf” jihadist attempts and successful have there been, including attacks that were ruled “work place violence”? Who really knows because the government hides all of the jihadist cases behind a veil of secrecy and mislabeling. But the prosecutor is focused on finding ome militiamen she can prosecute.

The video you posted of these guys said it all John. A government who fears that hopped up paintball team is suffering from an extremely guilty conscience.

I agree with Jack Kay that the arrest of the Huttarees is worth criticizing, but as to losing the case I say bravo. Justice was served through your incompetence madame prosecutor.

NHSparky

We couldn’t overthrow F-Troop.

Yeah, we kinda gathered that, although you would have given the Pima County SWAT Team a run for their money.

UpNorth

Ms. McQuade could just take a short road trip to Dearbornistan, it should give her more than enough to keep her simple mind occupied.

CRaissi

The next time they’ll do it right. They’ll find a slightly retarded person who likes to run his mouth about these types of things, then the FBI will supply them with an attack plan, talk them into carrying out that FBI invented plan, deliver fake explosives, and then swoop in to make arrests and tell us how they’ve saved us once again from dangerous terrorists.

Jacobite

What CRaissi said.

Tommy

PUL…LEEEZ!!! The Militia thing is SOOOOOOOO 1990’s.

(said with teenage mean girls attitude)

Dirty Al the Infidel

If only the Feebs and DOJ would take a look at the NBPP they might find some real terrorists. Oh! What was I thinking? Never mind.
