Reminds me of my time at officer training camp.

Back then the new thing was a requirement to pair up male/ female as battle buddies because the females would always pair up together. Then when of the female officers said that one of the many reasons that females pair up together is they can help each other out by lending feminine hygiene products when nature struck untimely.

So then they required that all the males carry around tampons in a little bandage pouch, that should there be a problem he would be able to provide that service.

When this was explained at our platoon meeting one female stood up and said (direct quotes); “I don’t care if I bleed all over Ft. Bragg, he isn’t getting near me with that thing because I don’t know where it has been. This is dumbest idea I have ever… He doesn’t even know what to do with it, is he supposed to stick it in me too?”

There was more but she was abruptly cut off by the head trainer but after that she was the most liked female in the platoon.

Think the doc who thinks boys and girls are the same till puberty never had kids. Up to 4 or 5, maybe, but at 10 or 12? Maybe he was a girly boy, but he was the exception, not the rule.
