Jack Teixeira to face military justice proceeding
Jack Teixeira pleaded guilty to federal charges related to leaking highly classified documents. He pleaded guilty to six counts of willful retention and transmission of national defense information under the Espionage Act. Jack Teixeira is now going to face two charges with the military for failing to obey a lawful order and for obstructing justice.

The stunning security breach raised alarm over America’s ability to protect its most closely guarded secrets and forced the Biden administration to scramble to try to contain diplomatic and military fallout. The leaks embarrassed the Pentagon, which tightened controls to safeguard classified information and disciplined members found to have intentionally failed to take required action about Teixeira’s suspicious behavior.
Authorities said he first typed out classified documents he accessed and then began sharing photographs of files that bore SECRET and TOP SECRET markings. Prosecutors also said he tried to cover his tracks before his arrest, and authorities found a smashed tablet, laptop and Xbox gaming console in a dumpster at his house.
The leak exposed to the world unvarnished secret assessments of Russia’s war in Ukraine, including information about troop movements in Ukraine and the provision of supplies and equipment to Ukrainian troops. Teixeira also admitted posting information about a U.S. adversary’s plans to harm U.S. forces serving overseas.

Let him serve as an example of who not to be. Max out his federal sentence, and let the military do with him what they will, so long as a Dishonorable discharge is part of that. By the time he gets out of prison, he’ll be in his late-’30s, probably unable to sit down for prolonged periods given his pretty face, and find that the video games he immersed himself in so much as to betray the country he took an oath to protect have advanced so much in graphics and gameplay (and cost), that he needs to put in overtime at the car wash for six months just to afford a PS8.
Jack Tearjerkers future is exceedingly grim.
Think of this… they have so little sense of control, they often kill themselves because of dumb stuff said online. Eh? The have to actively participate in order to be insulted, butthurt or whatever. Just because there’s tens of billions of dollars at stake doesn’t mean that they’re going to go around murdering people. The people at Boeing have the highest ethical standards of any in The American aircraft industry. They would totally not allow people to die to enrich themselves. I remember back in the day, that in order to access classified documents, you had to have the appropriate clearance level AND the need to know. I guess that’s been no longer the case.
