A fine job, indeed, CW, on the upkeep of the Throne Room and all of the Trappings of The Kingdom. Almost as fine of a job as you did on Book Two on The Hero. Finished the tome earlier and I must say with all sincerity that it was outstanding. Great job on tying everything together, filling in the back story, and showing how the Gene Pool will bring out the best in all of us. Our life is indeed a product of the things we leave behind. I particularly liked the way that our Hero brought every weapon to bear, from Aerial Artillery, Flammenwaffers, Hand Cannons (grin), to some that I won’t mention for the ones that REALLY need to check your Sy/Fy Tomes out. (Talking to you, ninja, you’ll love ’em). And yes, the sad parts did bring a tear to the eye.

Now, get busy on bringing us “the rest of the story” on the “150% Irishman”. IFYKYK

Hey! I know that tater! It’s from the Spud Drive-in, outside of Driggs Idaho. Unfortunately, It blew down last spring. Have no fear, there are plans to rebuild this cultural icon that’s been there since 1953. The truck’s name is Ol’ Murph, the tater was built by Richard Wood. And just how does D know all this? It’s simple. I allegedly grew up in that area. The spud was owned by our high school cook and her husband. Best burgers anywhere! And know you know… the rest of the story!

We are truly blessed here at TAH in that we have persons with writing skilz such as yourself, Mason, ol’ poe (makes this American think), thebesig, VOV, Ex-PH2 (miss her, hope she is doing more better), David, OAM (she only thinks she wants to get in my head…that place even scares me), TVI (Dave H.), and others(sbalm, Hondo). Even our Beloved AW1Ed can turn a good phrase (when he is not busy herding these cats or acting as the technical advisor for Naval Aviation Documentaries). And ‘lest we forget…our very own ninja (gabn/rtr/hbtd) whose research skilz are second to none.

We need more people that can put their thoughts down on paper, properly, and we sorely need more true investigative reporters. Computers are nice little toys but there is nothing like picking up a book, or a well written newspaper, and settling in.

“In the Texas case, Lehew took a plea agreement in 2020 for inappropriately touching an 8-year-old boy whom he was babysitting, according to Dallas County District Court records. The child reported the sexual contact to his father, who reported it to local police.”

“Lehew enlisted in the Army in April 2013 as a wheeled vehicle mechanic, according to his service record. He was discharged in November 2015. The record does not state the nature of his discharge.”

I’d be curious to know the amount of BAH fraud that actually occurs. We had a PFC in her late-20s who was talking about how many people were trying to make arrangements in AIT. I forget what she called them, but they were basically convenience marriages: two junior enlisted get hitched, avoid barracks life, and collect that sweet double BAH. No intimacy or feelings involved.

I first heard about this when I was a Private 13 years earlier. Some of the Infantry guys ate at the DISCOM chow hall just to hook up with girls, in hopes of getting married and moving off-post. Same thing, of course, with girls off-post, only without the double BAH. Still, meet Stripper Sally at Cat West, get a marriage certificate, and it’s smooth sailing. Or so many thought…

Not sure, it was one of two circling the fire. Around here there has usually been a Rockwell Commander circling incidents well above the tankers and lead planes. I’d like to find the online scanner I used a couple of years ago during those really bad fires in CA.

He accidently got some meat juice on his T-Shirt so he then swung by Clothing Sales to pick up another white T-Shirt. There are some images of them being used in a Drill or Ceremonial role in the Coast Guard but on the left shoulder.

Couldn’t find enough evidence to support the use case.
