China outpacing the U.S. with warship production
Carlos Del Toro, Secretary of the Navy, warned that China’s warship production surpasses that of the U.S., threatening US naval supremacy. Toro pointed out the inconsistency between China’s actions and beliefs with the rules based international orders as well as with individual freedoms, democracy, and human rights.
From Fox News:
“It is no secret that the People’s Republic of China seeks to upend our dominance on the oceans across the globe,” said Del Toro. “The People’s Liberation Army Navy has added over 100 combatants to its fleet — a naval buildup that is a key component of its increasingly aggressive military posture globally.”
Del Toro noted that China currently possesses approximately 340 ships and is seeking to add 100 more by 2030.
This possible shift in naval dominance, Del Toro warned, could begin to reshape the world order.
“China’s disregard for the rules-based international order is particularly troubling in the maritime domain, from the Taiwan Straits to the high seas,” the Navy secretary said.
He continued, “The values espoused by the Chinese Communist Party are incompatible with individual liberty, with democracy, and with respect for human rights. This is about the future of humanity and of our planet.”
China’s military strength has become increasingly relevant to international disputes as the Asian superpower continues to flex its muscles on the world stage.
Fox News has additional information. Additionally, Fox News reports that 100 to 200 US service members will be headed to Taiwan. As a part of their mission, they will be training their Taiwanese counterparts with operating US supplied weapons and equipment.
“U.S. to Expand Troop Presence in Taiwan for Training Against China Threat”
https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-to-expand-troop-presence-in-taiwan-for-training-against-china-threat-62198a83
“The U.S. is markedly increasing the number of troops deployed to Taiwan, more than quadrupling the current number to bolster a training program for the island’s military amid a rising threat from China.”
“The U.S. plans to deploy between 100 and 200 troops to the island in the coming months, up from roughly 30 there a year ago, according to U.S. officials. The larger force will expand a training program the Pentagon has taken pains not to publicize as the U.S. works to provide Taipei with the capabilities it needs to defend itself without provoking Beijing.”
One of the guys I work with is about my age, 60 and told me the story about his family from the Philippines and his father who fought with the Philippine army in the early days (1930s/40s) and then joined the U.S. Army and fought the Japanese, then went to Korea and Viet of the Nams. He said when he was growing up whenever he attempted to complain about anything his dad said, “HEY PUSSY” and then regaled him with war atrocities or fighting the Pusan perimeter.
He said they called the 1911 an “Anti-Fillipino gun” (tongue kinda in cheek of course) but about the crazy Filipino Muslims who would bind themselves and run into battle crazed…

The sooner the world realizes that China is NOBODY’s Friend and is hell bent on world domination, the sooner we will be better off. Not hard to build up a strong Navy when your workers are all slaves and you’re being funded by the cheap, slave built junk that the world is buying. The scrap metal that China is buying up at bargain basement prices will be used for that world domination goal. Watch.
Concur.
The Army went back to a .45 pistol because of the fight against the Moros proved its .38 revolver had insufficient stopping power. So the Army took Colt .45 single actions out of storage and shipped them to the PI.
“MACV was created on 8 February 1962, in response to the increase in United States military assistance to South Vietnam. MACV was first implemented to assist the Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) Vietnam, controlling every advisory and assistance effort in Vietnam. It was reorganized on 15 May 1964 and absorbed MAAG Vietnam to its command when combat unit deployment became too large for advisory group control.”
Just think only 61 short years ago the Vietnam was a but a gleam in Westmoreland’s eye.

China is azzhoe! Sleazy P Martini ftw.
We should ask the CCP is they’d like to go head-to-head, their fleet of attack subs against our Seawolf. Not the class, just SSN-21.
Building 21?
I guess that’s over my head or beyond my pay grade, perhaps the screw behind the buttplate is INOP.
A few questions on Beijing’s warships:
Are they better than an LCS?
Will they stay afloat?
Do they burn peat for fuel or dissidents?
Time to invest in more shipyards and ammo plants, less in “woke” f*cktard BS.
From SkyNews in the UK… production up at artillery shell factory here:
Since they already know they own biden they feel pretty comfortable doing what ever they want. Frankly I am almost surprised they haven’t moved more forcefully on Taiwan yet.
