President Trump’s transgender ban threatens an Army major’s desire to continue family legacy
Major Vandal graduated from the US military Academy and has served for nearly 14 years. Vandal, citing other family members who served in the military, described military service as a critical component of identity. Trump’s transgender ban threatens Vandal’s desire to continue serving and to continue the family legacy. Vandal is among those suing the Trump administration over the transgender related order.
From Military Times:
One part of the Feb. 26 memo claimed the physical and mental health constraints of transgender service members prevented them from meeting military standards, such as readiness, lethality, honesty and integrity. Regarding that section, Vandal said, “It was a difficult thing to hear … how both my service and my personhood was characterized by the government.”
The Trump administration’s executive order was even more damning in its characterization of transgender troops.
“Beyond the hormonal and surgical medical interventions involved, adoption of a gender identity inconsistent with an individual’s sex conflicts with a soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle, even in one’s personal life,” the executive order stated. “A man’s assertion that he is a woman, and his requirement that others honor this falsehood, is not consistent with the humility and selflessness required of a service member.”
But lawyers and advocates who spoke to Military Times fundamentally disagreed — not only with what they characterized as the ban’s blatant discrimination against transgender personnel — but the rationale behind the ban. They pointed to a lack of evidence, and outright mistreatment, of those who had served their country honorably.

Okay, provide us a roster of transgender troops that have deployed to forward combat zones. Hack Stone’s grandfather served in WWI, shortly after getting off the boat from Ireland. Hack’s father got a personal birthday greeting from President Roosevelt in December 1944, and a month later he was no longer in High School but training for deployment. Uncles served in Korea, one as jet mechanic in the USAF, another as an Army Ranger. Hack and his brother Rollin Stone both served in the Corps. Seems like a pretty strong tradition. But that does not give the next generation of Stoners an automatic ticket to serve in the military. Mentally, morally and physically qualified is the standard. If you can’t meet these three requisites, thanks for playing, here’s your consolation prize of Rice-A-Roni and Turtle Wax, now get off the fucking stage.
I’d be interested in seeing that roster my ownself, Mr. Stone. I won’t be holding my breath waiting.
I would bet there are less than a couple thousand, if that many trannies in uniform on active duty. How many could have enlisted or transitioned in only the past three or four years?
Why are we wasting time, energy and money on people that are mentally ill and/or delusional? At least Corporal Klinger knew he wasn’t a woman; it was just a ploy to get out of the Korean War as a Section 8.
Hack, agree 100%. As for my own thoughts, I don’t want to be in a machine gun hole with a dude who is complaining that he can’t carry the tripod or spare barrel bag (I know, dating myself here) because his man-boobs are swollen that day, or because he just hurt himself sticking a tampon up his keister. Maybe if they want to serve, create a branch just for them. I don’t know, maybe call it the 69 Freak Battalion and send them in ahead of the tanks before the roads have been cleared. Just my two cents.
Just reminded myself of the great movie, The Battle of the Bulge where Col Hessler played by Robert Shaw says to an infantry commander, “From now on your men go ahead of my tanks!!” LMAO
Could’ve been a relative whose wartime exploits I just learned about.

The one I like is the plastic fetus they shove up their ass and then crap it out so they can “feel the birthing process”. If that ain’t some fukerd up in the head shit, nothing is.
SgtM, sometimeS you just gotta laugh at the ignorant shit they come up and then wonder if the world had freaks like this in the military back during WWI or the Civil War? LOL
I just now realized it, but hey, can’t they just get themselves all constipated and then push out a massive turd?
Too much lube.
That must be the next step after buying those panties with fake blood stains in the crotch, so they can pretend they got their period.
(P.S. From what I have read here from the vets who have had a steady diet of MRE’s for several weeks, I understand that many of them have experienced something close childbirth with a bowel movement.)
Hack Stone remembers his first MRE shit in Desert Shield. It was about a ten day gestation period, and when Hack went “into labor”, it was about twenty minutes to deliver that baby. He was named Monkress.
The 69th Intersectional Dildo Bde.
(stolen, can’t remember from who)
LMAO!!!
One of my uncles relieved Blackjack Pershing on the Mexican border with his horse Cav guard outfit and went over to France just missing the Halifax explosion, another uncle was an Arty gun Bunny in France during WW11 and another Uncle was a Doctor that went ashore in Normandy and my late Dad was Coast Arty and missed going to the Pacific during the odd even count lineup. Had duty in Fort Tilden, Fort Hamilton and Earl Weapons station…
With all that Army in the family, how did you go wrong? ( ducks)
NYANG, 1975-1977 11B20. We had that stolen valor CO on TAH. He was there for a short time at the Huntington Armory out on Long Island NY. I emailed Jonn a copy of my DD214 back then after recognizing the name.
My Dad (old army type) has got to be rolling over in his grave at how the army is handling this, the poor guy. Please, someone tell me the Marines don’t have any trannys in there, doesn’t matter which way, I can’t keep it straight, trans-man, trans-woman, what the fuck is what?
Time to start checking for iny’s and outy’s apparently.
My family has had someone serving during every major conflict since the French and Indian war.. but my son had medical issues and couldn’t enlist, even though he tried.. sucks, but thats the way it is, he couldn’t meet the standard..
…during every major conflict….
Your family just can’t get along with ANYBODY, can they?
Well, when my son was in grade school, they were talking g about family trees, and one night at dinner, he confirmed.that my background was German and Irish, and then asked ” what does that mean?”..
Without missing a.beat I said ” it generally means we want to take over the world, but we’re too drunk to do it”…
Wife blew beer out her nose, then proceeded to slap the shit out of me…
All it has to do is put on the uniform of the day that conforms to its real biology, meet the grooming standards of that biology and serve 6 more years. Easy peasy.
Goodby.
Even more of a parody than:
Captain Sternn!!
still stuck in the 80s here
I loved the movie. How many of you read the magazine?
I just tossed a few out reluctantly. Lots of funny interesting stuff like The Horny Goof, Rock Opera, Tex Arcana, Den (of course). The list goes on
If you’re tossing out any more, send ’em to me.
I’m sure Admin will do an email exchange, we can go from there.
I have a few, just won an auction on a few more, and just subscribed to a new version of same.
Yeah….fun!
It was too weird to follow. Seems like they had about ten different story lines of comics but only showed four at a time (monthly) could not follow any of them to know what was going on.
I did like the art!
Have them bagged in a box upstairs
What an outrage! How dare the US Army consider its mission to be more important than Maj. Vandal’s desire to play soldier.
And to play woman..
He has the whining part down. (Runs from room, head covered).
To me, the EO uses the wrong language. “… soldier’s commitment to an honorable, truthful, and disciplined lifestyle…” is too subjective and can be argued which is what is happening. I would gone more the route that trans persons exponentially higher suicide rate, rates of depression, non-deployment status, the high cost of their ELECTIVE medical procedures/medications and other stats that are simply black and white as compared to non trans persons. Plus, we always hear about how we are supposed to care about what our allies think of us. Is some dude wearing a skirt and make-up going inspire our allies that we’re the biggest-&-baddest military going? Some of our allies would see those people as an abomination. To me, allowing these pretenders in our military hurts the military’s purpose.
“Is some dude wearing a skirt …”
There was one group of dude’s wearing skirts that scared the bejesus out of the German enemy.
Of course, that was WWI, and those dudes were playing bagpipes.
Sooo….no, you aren’t the same.
Ya do know why those guys with the pipes call those skirts a “kilt”, right?
‘Cuz that’s what happened to the last guy that called it a skirt…
I’m reminded of the cartoon I once saw, featuring a group of Scottish soldiers charging a hill … swords up, shields in place … and one guy says to another:
“Ya know, Angus, we wouldnae have to be defendin’ our manhood every 30 minutes if were werenae wearin’ these damn skirts!”
The Germans called them “the ladies from hell.” Pretty much says it all.
Sounds like he has already served his country so box checked. No one is guaranteed 20 years or more and a pension.
Talk about a word salad!
Would you like some Russian disinfo dressing on that salad?
It would seem that the good Major’s desire to “become” a woman has done far more to end his family legacy than Trump’s transgender ban.
Indeed, he can’t reproduce once the schlong is lopped off and the ‘nads are gone!
It does kinda prune the family tree.
Can you pass this contact number on to him?
That’s a great point! It’s also one that HE, refuses to acknowledge
I got a text message asking me to check-in via my phone.
I didn’t think anything about it, but as I filled out the first few questions I noticed a distinct change in the questions.
All of a sudden they were all about whom I sleep with, what my gender is, do I feel uncomfortable being around regular GI’s if I am TG and a host of other lousy questions.
I thought that was kicked out of the VA too.
I texted “STOP” the first time the VA sent me a text unrelated to appointment reminders
If you were not born with a uterus, ovaries and appropriate plumbing functions, then you is what you is and ain’t what you ain’t.
I’m having my period, will you pipe down…
“Major Vandal” has vandalized his forefathers’ legacy, and brought shame to his family name.
He needs to take his mental illness and get himself to a proper shrink most rikki-tik.
I have no tears for him. And I certainly wouldn’t want a sicko like him to be anywhere near Airborne Son when the fertilizer hits the ventilator. That’s the time for dangerous men to destroy the enemy, not mentally ill psychos to be whining about whatever triggered them.
Major Vandal was/is probably a deadbeat in whatever position he has been in. No loss to our lethality.
I found out that a guy that was a PL in the same company that I was a PL in at the same time, has become a Tranny these many years later. He was also married (to a woman) and he was a father.
He was an absolute POS as a PL. he get my CONOPs, change some numbers and names and locations, and then pass it off as his work. It would take me 3-5 hours to build and he would take my work, spend 30 minutes on it and pass it off as his. He didn’t take care of his troops. He was the type of leader that would be the first in the chow line, the first in line for anything. When the troops were in the field, he’d find a reason to be in rear.
Your statement hits close. I’m sure that it’s a common result with these people. They are all a bit (at the very least) narcissistic!
I was in when Slick Willie introduced DADT. I had a 30 min argument with my 1SG that this was just the beginning and he refused to believe me and countered that DADT was fine and this would be the end of it.
Glad I got out before that slippery slope turned into a near vertical wall.
When I enlisted, being gay was not allowed.
By the time I was an SNCO, it was encouraged.
I’m glad I got out before it was mandatory.
You shoulda had him put his money where his mouth is.
I’ve thought of searching on line for him, but he has sort of a generic first and last name, oh well. I know I was right.
Solution is simple. Stop being a freakshow and be a real man.
Do the gays next. Military sexual assaults would plunge over night.
They are a bit harder to suss out providing they aren’t loud, proud and fabulous!
