Suspect dies after police return gunfire in Cleveland County

Max Bryan, The Norman Transcript, Okla.
A suspect died Tuesday after exchanging gunfire with Oklahoma City police officers who tried to arrest him on a felony warrant on the city’s southeast side.

Three officers traded shots with the man after they entered a travel trailer in the 14000 block of Iron Road in Cleveland County about 11 a.m. to arrest him on an out-of-state burglary warrant, police Capt. Valerie Littlejohn said.

One officer was hit by gunfire and sustained non-life-threatening injuries “from the bullet, or fragment or shrapnel,” she said.

The police department did not identify the officers or the suspect.

Not always, but as a general rule in a 1v3 fight put your money on the three.

Update Fort Worth man identified as gunman shot to death by police in exchange of gunfire

Domingo Ramirez Jr.
A Fort Worth man has been identified as the gunman who was shot to death by officers after police say he opened fire at them when he stepped out of a convenience store, authorities said Thursday.

The man was identified as 31-year-old Joe Don Williams, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website on Thursday. He was pronounced dead at 1:34 a.m. Wednesday at John Peter Smith Hospital from multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities did not report any officers injured.

The shooting occurred about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday near a QuikTrip at 2501 NE 28th St. in north Fort Worth.

Several 911 callers reported that a man was walking in and out of the store with a handgun in his hand.

Seems like these cop FGS stories are either becoming more common or are just being reported more. Maybe a little of both. Wonder what may have caused an uptick? Thanks for the links, Gun Bunny.

Yep, if you notice most of these police stories begin with the other guy opening fire.

More drugs = More crime

No repercussions = More crime

Letting criminals roam free = More crime

Always.

Them 3:1 odds are not a good gamble.

The Okie perp lost the trailer on that bet.

There is a significant increase in Police conflicts. It started with #44 initiating a war on Cops with his repeated off the cuff remarks regarding his opinion about Police racism and unsupported accusations of Police biased actions.

It got worse with the antifa male bovine scatology and the left wing support of blm. The continued lies about Police targeting blacks and “systemic racism” as well as making black thugs into martyrs were one thing but others called for actual attacks against Police. This is the result as criminals figure they have no reason to not ambush or kill Police. The stupid no bail idiocy also means they know they are likely to be out in minutes or hours after arrest.

Welcome to the start of the left’s idea of utopia where the crime will go away if only there were no Police.
