Weekend Open Thread
Putting country before party? Liz Cheney showed an actor wearing a pro Liz Cheney shirt. She said that real men put country before party. A good percent of Republicans in her state, those she expects to support her for a follow-on term, do not approve of what she is doing. They may not appreciate being told that they’re not real men, or real women, for not supporting her. Enjoy your weekend!

NO RECOUNTS!
Missed it by 3 seconds.

I’d have been first, but I had to put the nuclear secrets away first.
LC,
Shhhh. That’s classified.
The 3pm deadline matches the VG’s 3pm WOT release.
Can’t wait for who here still buys the “hoax” and “plant” rants.
I posted the New York Post link.
Here it is again.
https://nypost.com/2022/08/12/fbi-seized-11-sets-of-classified-documents-in-trump-mar-a-lago-raid
The new claim is he declassified the material. Without the government knowing. Maybe while on double-secret probation? We’ll see.
Here’s the latest from Trump:
Naturally, that’s not accurate, but wow, what a whiny, pathetic statement. And in case anyone doesn’t believe it’s real:

LC, I don’t believe we’ll be seeing thebesig posting another one of these.
Donald Trump Statement on Mar-A-Lago raid thebesig | August 9, 2022 | 74 Comments
https://valorguardians.com/blog/?p=128998
Why not? That was not the first time I posted his statement, and that would not be the last time I will post his statements. Not a single one of you guys presented valid arguments either against that post or against any of Trump’s arguments. Trump’s arguments still stand.
thebesig,
Simple.
With the passage of 3 days,
and the release of the details / inventory,
now go back and look at all the
false, misleading, and conspiracy theory comments,
which, considering today’s news
and Trumps arguments (hoax, plant),
makes many of those 2-3 day old comments
look really really foolish.
The presence and inventory
of all that classified information
changed the game.
TS/SCI especially.
And that’s where I have (old) experience.
Which is why I asked below
if anyone else here has military experience,
not in warrants, but in handling of classified.
So, if you’re game here is feeding the conspiracies,
and taking Trump at his word,
just come out and admit it.
Response to MarineDad61, August 13, 2022, Part 1A
With the passage of 3 days, Trump’s statements have been consistent with reality. The misleading, false, and conspiracy comments are coming from you and from others, fueled by media that has gone all out-propaganda mode.
Trump’s arguments are valid, nobody was allowed to watch the FBI go in to obtain what Trump would have provided willingly, even to a single FBI agent. Given the fact that there are accounts of police planting evidence (one of them of a police officer wrongfully charging people for illegal drugs he planted in their vehicles) and given the animosity against him shown both the media and the government, as well as attempts to spread false information against him, his argument about their planting evidence, or potentially planting evidence, is a valid argument.
Response to MarineDad61, August 13, 2022, Part 2A
Trump was willing to provide them what they wanted, all they had to do was ask. Your statement about the “presence” and “inventory” of “TS/SCI” information is based on claims made by the FBI, an organization that is suspect and has acted like their Russian and CCP counterparts at times. As such, the FBI claims that they pulled classified information from his residence should be taken with a grain of salt, preferably dismissed until real evidence turns up.
No, this has nothing to do with following conspiracies and just going by Trump’s word. Again, I don’t advance an argument, or talk about something at length, unless I have extensive knowledge on the topic gained from firsthand experience or from study/research… And it is clear that those that I’m rebutting have little to no understanding of what they are talking about.
Response to MarineDad61, August 13, 2022, Part 3A
My information gathering involves going straight to the first tiered information being reported on. In the vast majority of the instances, I’ve done this, the actual information contradicted what the media reported. I’ve been a news junkie for four decades, the news articles that you reference would have been laughed out of the room back in the 1980s.
Since you indicated that you also held a clearance, you should be familiar with the classified material custodian concept.
I was the classified publication custodian for my division when I was stationed on my first ship. How classified publications were handled was similar to how other classified material was handled. People can’t just take classified material and go wherever they want to go.
Response to MarineDad61, August 13, 2022, Part 4A
These materials had to be checked out, and a record of such checking out was maintained. If a publication was transferred or destroyed, that required additional paperwork, and annotation on the appropriate logs. That way, if an inventory was conducted from outside, a missing pub was easily reconciled to the record.
These publications, as with the other classified material on the ship, were subject to inventory. We had to conduct the inventory, or we were audited by someone in our chain who was also on the gun in case anything happened to any of the materials.
thebesig,
Ok, so WHO is responsible for conducting the inventory on the presidential classified, historically?
More so,
will we see any “declassification” proof,
either on the documents themselves,
OR on inventory records?
Time will tell,
and despite all the news and pundit chatter,
this isn’t looking good.
The location where the documents are kept does the inventory. Trump is accused of taking these from the White House, then whoever is supposed to be the custodian of the relevant classified material would be responsible for inventory. Dito if they’re stored in another location for past presidents.
As a classified publication custodian, I did not care what rank a person held, if they were qualified to have those documents, they signed out for them. If they lost something, and I did not do due diligence with accountability, it would’ve been my ass on the line, ditto with who would be doing the same job regarding the materials Trump allegedly took.
As for declassification proof, we’d see that if Trump’s call for their release is honored and they publish those documents.
Not looking good? Not for the anti Trump pundits. This follows a repeated pattern of them “having proof” that Trump did wrong, just to have it blow up in their faces.
Response to MarineDad61, August 13, 2022, Part 5A
So, if Trump took classified material out of the White House, and it is “still classified”, why now? Why conduct the raid a year and nearly seven months after he “took classified material” out? That does not make sense, and it would be a condemnation of the White House or appropriate agency responsible for holding those records. In this case, it would show that nobody was conducting inventory, which would hint that nobody was doing anything substantive with regards to securing and keeping track of classified information.
If, and that’s a big if, these documents were indeed classified, we are fucked at the government level as it would indicate that there is week accountability and control of our classified information.
However, Trump’s prior actions and statements do not indicate someone who is guilty of holding classified documents. For example, he would not be calling for those documents to be released.
Who moved the rock?
I get my own meme? I’m flattered! I mean, I definitely think you took a few too many concussive blasts during Sapper school, but still, I’m flattered. Thanks so much.
No problem, homegirl. 👉 👌 👈
How would you know, you have never been to any military school. Especially one involving explosives. If you had, you would know that military students using explosives don’t experience a “concussive blast.”
Well that time we had a sympathetic detonation did get a lil spicy, and we got banned from Range 69 for six months. I would do again!

DID YOU KNOW…?
How much did the first Rolls-Royce automobile cost?
By Commissioner Wretched
didyouknowcolumn@gmail.com
Wow, what a party.
It’s not often that one celebrates 300 of anything, and making it to 300 columns last week called for a shindig and a half. Which, now that I think about it, may not have been the greatest idea.
The clean-up alone was a monumental task. Not to mention the dishwashing, so I won’t mention it.
But it was worth it, to celebrate 300 columns of silly trivia. Now, we start the next 300 columns.
That’s how long it will take me to recover from the party.
So enjoy, while I go get some aspirin …
Did you know …
… the pencil eraser was not invented for more than 220 years following the invention of the pencil? (I guess that meant you had to be very precise in your writing, since you couldn’t erase it.)
… you may be a sufferer of geomelophagia? If you are, don’t worry. It’s just the name given to the urge to eat raw potatoes. (The urge to eat “raw” anything gives me another urge, which I’m sure you can figure out.)
… the beautiful colors leaves display in autumn are really there all the time? You don’t see them in spring and summer because of chlorophyll, the chemical that makes them look green. In autumn, the chlorophyll breaks down, and the green gives way to the leaves’ natural red, gold or orange pigments. (I knew it! Chlorophyll camouflage!)
… you could become an ocean reef? First, you have to die. Then, a company called Eternal Reefs will mix your cremated remains with concrete, creating what they call a “pearl” which is encased in a reef ball and dropped into the sea. The reef ball provides a habitat for fish and other sea life. The pearl can have messages and handprints etched upon it before being sent into the drink. (First you have to die. There’s always a catch, isn’t there?)
… the first Rolls-Royce would be considered a bargain in today’s money? The first of the classic vehicles, marketed in 1904, sold for £395 ($784 American). Known as the Model 10 Type A, it was a prototype for the cars that would eventually hit the market two years later. Only sixteen were produced. When presented to the public, the first one was driven by Sir Henry Royce (1863-1933), who had partnered with Charles Rolls (1877-1910) to form the company. A modern Rolls will run you about $295,000 today. Additional trivia note: For the first four years of production, the Rolls-Royce logo was red in color, but after Rolls was killed in an airplane crash, the logo was changed to black. Rolls was the first powered-aviation fatality in Great Britain, dying in a crash on July 12, 1910.
… a fast-food giant was started as a way to pay for college? The popular sandwich shop Subway began in 1965, when Frederick DeLuca (1947-2015) borrowed $1,000 from a family friend to start a fast-food venture that would provide healthy choices for diners. DeLuca named the venture “Pete’s Submarines,” after his financier Dr. Peter Buck (1930-2021). The name was changed to “Pete’s Subway,” and later to just “Subway.” DeLuca founded the chain to raise money to go to the University of Bridgeport, from which he graduated in 1968. (So DeLuca took the Subway to college, eh?)
… the “infinite monkey” theory is basically hogwash? You’ve heard it – “If you give 100 monkeys 100 typewriters, eventually they’ll write Shakespeare” or something along that line. This theory has been tried out in real life. In 2002, students and professors at the University of Plymouth in England tested the theory. They placed a computer keyboard in an enclosure with six crested macaques at the Paington Zoo in Devon for a month. The result? Five total pages of nothing but the letter “S.” In addition, the lead male struck the keyboard with a rock several times, and all of the monkeys eventually used the bathroom on it. The students ended up calling the result “performance art.” (Because they couldn’t call it what they really wanted to call it, you see.)
And this six crested macaques are now on staff writing speeches for President Joe Biden.
And it shows.
The reason the test failed was because they did not use a typewriter!
😉😎
… the wonderful smell of freshly-cut grass has a dark secret? Well, maybe not dark or sinister, but more chemical. That aroma that makes everybody smile once the yard has been cut comes from a chemical released by the grass when in distress. (Yeah, I’d have to agree that having a huge rotating blade cut you in half would be distress.)
Are you sure that euphoria is not caused by the crack of an ice cold can of Pabst Blue Ribbon that you award yourself for a lawn well mowed?
… the largest hamburger ever made weighed 1,794 pounds? Created in 2017, the monstrosity is actually on the regular menu at Mallie’s Sports Grill and Bar in Detroit. It begins with an even ton of raw ground beef, cooked on a custom-made grill. The burger is then topped with 300 pounds of cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and lettuce. The bun alone weighs 250 pounds. And if you want one, you’ll have to cough up some serious coin: the charge for the Godzilla of all hamburgers is $7,799. The restaurant also needs three days’ notice before you pick it up for what would have to be a very, very special occasion. (Like feeding everybody at the Super Bowl or something.)
Be sure to ask for ketchup packets when you pick up your order.
… there are over 30,000 known species of fish? (The trick is to count the unknown species.)
… it takes 25 muscles to swallow? Additional trivia note: humans use 72 different muscles when speaking. (And only six for hearing, I guess.)
… the average American consumes more than 4,500 calories at Thanksgiving? (Hey, that turkey and dressing is important!)
Now … you know!
CW, we celebrate your trivia column every week! 🍻
On station.
Anyone else here have military duty and MOS/AFSC
involving security clearances,
and/or handling of classified equipment or information???
https://nypost.com/2022/08/12/fbi-seized-11-sets-of-classified-documents-in-trump-mar-a-lago-raid
Looks like they found what they were after. Sucks for Trump. However he did it to himself and he should be held accountable for it.
Exactly.
The other one
You should share the link again and again.
It’s natural for sphincters to let forth rankness, as is their function. You on the other hand, seem as useful as a football bat.
Lemme quote something for you:
I don’t remember you having this attitude toward Clinton.
I really can’t imagine a circumstance where a person who doesn’t have a security clearance, can legally maintainboxes of classified, and then over the course of months only return some of the information while improperly storing the remainder of the classified in an unsecured pool closet. While making effort to obfuscate and conceal the fact that he has classified information in his residence.
Again, this is after the DoJ patiently negotiated for months for the return of the classified and had a confidential source specifically informing them that Trump has only returned some of the classified while concealing the rest.
Seems like somewhere along the lines he violated the law. Doesn’t it?
But wait until you find out why he had it.
That will be an uncomfortable for the MAGA base. But they will just pretend it is all fake and start whining about Clinton and Hunter.
SoS isn’t a declassing authority.
NEXT!
Pretty sure that depends on the material, really. SECSTATE is indeed a classifying authority, and I believe the classifying authority has declassifying authority over things they (their office) classified. They don’t have authority beyond that, though.
Almost like there is an Executive Function to our Republic.
Someone should tell the press, I think they may be interested.
(We all know that the DIA is, right?)
This ain’t nothing baby.
Hillary and her staff thought they had declassifying authority. They just stripped the classification header off of classified documents and then emailed them to her illegal server. She even had her Guatemalan maid download them from her illegal email and print them for her to read at her home in DC.
Those infected with the TDS don’t believe that principle applies to Trump or any of his supporters. It is now known as the Orange Man Bad exception to that rule.
Serious question –
When a document is printed and marked “Secret” but the item is later declassified, is that one copy that still carries the “Secret” stamp “Secret”?
Typically the banner and foot are removed, sometimes by striking out, with a declass stamp on the page with authority and ,as necessary, act or cause code, signed by the authority.
It’s pretty common.
There’s a process, and declassified documents get a new marking that states they’re declassified and the date of that declassification.
Access, especially for TS/SCI docs, is typically tightly controlled so you won’t end up with a ‘copy’ from your nearest Xerox machine that one can then hold unmarked even after a declassification request.
Of course, that’s for normal people. POTUS is unique. I’d hope to god they still need to follow the process though. Can’t imagine people here would support the idea that Obama or Biden could declassify sensitive national security information with no record other than their word.
No, the banner I supposed to be removed, but if it is not the information itself is still no longer classified.
That being said, anything with the classification label still on it has to be treated as such. Which is why the labels are removed or blacked out and the document is reclassified.
However, he can’t retroactively declassify information when he is no longer president.
And most information regarding our nuclear capacity cannot be declassified unilaterally be the president.
Plus, if Trump is declassifying information for personal reasons and not for national security or public good/interest reasons than it would be pretty despicable behavior.
He has already shown a pattern of irresponsibility with classified having “unintentionally” shared highly classified information with the Russians in the past.
Runs into the truth, even if accidentally:
Same:
Yeah, well… elections (and Milleys) have consequences:
Lars, lot of us here can still remember when you, LC and MD61 were all this pumped over Trump’s Russia collusion cause Schiff had the evidence.
Weren’t you guys fairly confident that some sleazy porn lawyer (now disbarred and a convict) was going to bring down the Trump presidency and ride his newfound fame into the Oval Office?
How’d all that work out for all y’all?
And ol’ Poe’s not even a Trump fan, but he’s damned sure never let himself get sucked into obsessive never-Trumpism like you clowns.
Trump is the Roadrunner and you guys are a buncha not-too Wiley Coyotes… 🙄
Poefibber,
You LIAR.
I hate Schiff,
and I ALWAYS thought the Russia hoax was a hoax.
IF you can’t remember when or
WHY I tangled with thebesig, and you,
and a few others,
then cut your pills in half.
And STOP LYING.
Well just ‘scuse the hell outta ol’ Poe. Just goes to show you, Daddio, folks tend to remember you by the company you keep, hmm?
You always so excitable? 😜
Yes. But the banner and footer are crossed out on the copy so marked and unclassified is written next to it. Anyway, I have seen such documents
No reasonable prosecutor would pursue charges. Against a Democrat.
Even Foxnews is reporting stuff marked with Top Secret and other high clearance levels. Now the fight will be if it is still classified or not.
mUh fOX nEWs
Man. You really don’t get what is going on, do you?
I guess not seeing how the same thing is on CNN and other networks. I was just trying to point out different sides of the political networks both had the same thing. Sorry for trying to contribute.
I just wanted to quote you so maybe you’d reread what you typed with a critical mind.
I don’t know what you want from me. Trump or Hildabeast if they mishandled Classified shit they should be held accountable.
Off to work good day to you.
Same, and same to you.
Well, Hillary will never be held accountable. No jury in DC would ever convict her of anything. Moreover, the statute of limitations has run in the past six years on her crimes of her private email of classified documents.
Don’t worry too much about Roh Dog. I used to have a Golden Retriever. Sweet dog, but not terribly bright. Compared to Roh, though, that dog was fucking Einstein.
I rarely even engage with Roh because its bordering on cruelty to animals.
Contributions of all kind tend to be welcome here.
You’re the one who licks and chases balls.
LC, with that kind of sneering, dismissive condescension, you’re sounding more and more like Lars.
Not really a good thing to become known on the site as Lars Lite… 🙄
Why Poe, your newfound sensitivity is so unexpected!
I appreciate your concern, but I have enough faith that most here can recognize that what you consider ‘sneering, dismissive condescension’ is merely the ‘rough and tumble’ language advertised to in the FNG post. And, that I typically reserve it for Roh Dog, and only because he insists on firing first.
If others are to determine that his vitriol is righteous and welcome and my ‘return fire’ is somehow sneering and pathetic… well, that’s their right. I don’t tend to mind what others think, and will continue to treat most here with common respect.
But I appreciate your concern, truly.
Well bless your little ol’ cotton-pickin’ heart.
You just might want to use one of these emojis 😜 to indicate your intended humor, since apparently you’re not too skilled at conveying it in your writing.
As your down-votes seem to indicate, no?
Not intended humor; just giving back the same way I take from him. If that’s too much for your tender heart, I’ll try to add a ‘trigger warning’ next time, Poe. 😉
(Hopefully that emoji came through.)
And if I’ve ever up- or down-voted something here, it’s purely been by accident. Can’t really say I pay much attention to them, honestly.
One of those up votes, the FIRST! (h/t to me) I hope of many, but these knaves have their own compasses.
I don’t think you’re uncaring, or generally unkind, your logic IS very well presented and generally concise, sound from a perspective… presumably.
If I had to guess, you’re an old school Liberal who honestly believes in the system, in spite of her warts, and any damage as of late is but a scratch in need of buffing.
I respect that, optimism and candor regardless of ‘side’. Heck, I even respect the seagull to be an out-n-out commie shitstain! (Don’t tell that bastard tho)
But I disagree with your remedies. As a disaffected ‘liberal’ who always leaned toward the Founding, sought Liberty and desired to extend that to the greatest extent, ‘true’ Liberalism… I’ve seen how much hate, fraud, waste and the humongous abuse the systems places upon people, detached from causes and divorced from even knowing if they’ve gotten anything for getting fucked.
OutOfWords.Bed.
They were trying to charge Trump with having porn but it turns out it was a copy of Hunters laptop and now they are running in circles.
I heard the fan belt inspectors reported Trump’s safe was empty in the warrant return because the only thing they found in it were pictures of Hunter snorting China white off a sixteen-year-old Chinese hooker’s ass.
Saw a comment on another site that said Trump should have put the documents on Hunter’s laptop. Then the FBI wouldn’t care about them.
Wouldn’t even be an issue with a democrat. Hillary, Joe and Hunter make Gotti look like the Velcro Don.
No idea why he would maintain TS/SCI materials regarding nuclear defense in his private residence, and if he did, yeah, he should be punished. No one is above the law.
That being said, precedence was set when the FBI Director let Hillary Clinton dictate the terms of what and when she would turn over relevant documents and under what conditions she would submit to a lawyer. And despite the FBI Director saying that she violated protocol and existing laws, “no reasonable prosecutor would pursue charges”. Unfortunately for General Flynn, there was not a reasonable prosecutor handling his case.
And what about Sandy Berger? The guy actually stole classified documents from the National Archives by smuggling them out in his socks. What did he get? A slap on the wrist.
If it was TS/SCI wouldn’t they know he had it tho?
There is a strict chain-of-custody and its verboten to copy them.
Now how the fuck would he have held on to them?
And, did he keep his clearance just like the Swamp Creatures of Yore? (that second q is rhetorical)
I’ll argue against the ‘precedence’ bit on principal. Sometimes we have good people in power, sometimes we do not – what should guide us, at all times, are our principles. Without getting into the specific scenarios of Clinton and Trump, should someone who mishandles TS/SCI materials relating to national security be charged as such? I think we can agree so.
As a non-political example, we had some shitty Popes throughout the years. Pope Innocent VIII – quite a misnomer!- had multiple illegitimate children. Pretty sure, though, that that’s not something where if the current Pope did the same we should say, “Well, hey, precedent…”.
What gets me is that Pres. Trumps laywers were not allowed to stay in the house with the fbi to see what was going on. Now if the question was that he had nuclear defense documents but he didn’t, documents could have been planted by the agents. From what I head from Dan Bongino on the radio, the people doing these searches want witnesses with them to make sure things are on the up and up. Dan did searches in the past and always lawyers or representives were with him. Sounds fishy to me.
Lawyers for the accused are not allowed to watch searches most of the time in most crimes.
This is particularly true in national security cases where the lawyer does not have a security clearance.
Does anyone here actually think Trump packed up documents to be moved out of the White House? If so, they are occupying a parallel universe. They must think Trump packs his own suitcases and cleaned out his own desk in the Oval Office. But there is no question Sandy Burglar personally stole documents from the National Archives. There is also no question that Hillary had many still classified documents on her secret server and devices after she left office. Some of those documents were reported TS/SCI and could only be viewed in a SCIF, and especially not by her Guatemalan maid.
I have. Donald Trump had the authority to declassify documents, which he did prior to taking them to MAL The statements that they were classified are nothing but propaganda.
Having held a secret clearance for over a quarter of a century, and having handled classified material during parts of my military career, I know for a fact that someone illegally holding classified material would not be calling for those seized documents to be immediately released if he were guilty of holding classified material.
All we’re left with is propaganda claiming that the FBI seized classified material from his residence.
Wait….I thought I was heterosexual, but it turns out that I like dick. What changed?
Fixed.

“Sorry, we got lost …”
GPS is your friend.
Yeah? So is George Dickels, allegedly…
Darn. I was out on assigned duties and missed it.
Oh well
GO ARMY BEAT navy
Never too late to doggie pile the squid, Graybeard.
So, only people who agree with you, get to post and make insults about other posters? Got it. All of this is being screensaved, btw…little project on how snowflake the crowd is here. 🙂
That’s new- threatening screen shots. Game over, dude.
There was a time when I would go to great lengths explaining acceptable board behavior. Simple stuff, everyone gets a voice, be as civil as possible, and douchebaggery will not be tolerated. Several warnings would then be issued and ignored, and the person would wind up in Mod Jail anyway. So I got discouraged, and now it’s one and done.
You were easy. 13 negative comments in around half an hour is, I think, a record. So congrats! I’ll be happy to approve your comments. When I think they add to the conversation and are not random ad hominem attacks. Not before.
AW1
Have you not read the posts by Commissar and LC? This has nothing to do with restricting opinion, and everything to do with proper community conduct. Disagreement is allowed, and so is some insulting here and there. However, there is a difference between what you’re doing, and what Commissar and LC are doing. Study those differences.
Drake,
I called out thebesig Fall 2021,
for putting up rightwingnut fake news,
& using blatant fake news websites to do so.
Calling out The Gateway Pundit
got me a whole bunch of negative responses & insults.
Standing my ground (with PROOF)
got me put in Comment Review Jail,
which was lifted at my request Spring 2022.
Notice how Poetripper & a few others try to lump me.
But they fail.
They ALL know I am lifetime GOP, voted for Trump TWICE,
but jumped off the Trump Train December 2020, before January 6, when Pennsylvania’s “alternate electors” efforts were underway.
That said, for some of them, & they know who they are,
being a conservative that soured on Trump isn’t good enough.
Everyone BUT the rightwingnut “Stop the Steal” and “Trump 2024” types are targets here,
& those firing dung tipped arrows are protected.
Considering this is a Stolen Valor website, supposedly all about “truth” & “honor”, the hypocrisy is real.
Real sad.
Oh shut the fuck up. You’re really getting tiresome.
Response to MarineDad61, August 25, 2022, Part 1A
Wrong, you did not call me out on anything. All you did was spew BS nonsense that you paraded as “fact”. What you dismissed was a valid article supported by other sources of information. You had issues with The Gateway Pundit but failed to prove your issue against it. No, you did not provide proof, you argued based on ego and on emotion. No, you did not “stand your ground”, but demonstrated questionable character by remaining in an argument you were getting destroyed in.
What you labeled as “proof” were strawman arguments. I presented facts, backed by photos, and even used your links to demonstrate your failure to understand what your own sources were presenting. What got you placed in mod jail was your crappy attitude, driven by anger, control, and ego issues. This is evident by other folks on here piling on you like antibodies on invading viruses.
Response to MarineDad61, August 25, 2022, Part 2A
You’re incorrect, we don’t see you as the “lifetime GOP” that you parade yourself as. We doubt your claims given your arguments here, which are more consistent with arguments advanced by those on the left than by those on the right. You “jumped the Trump Train” not because of any “fact” that you possessed, but because you have a weak foundation for your political beliefs. You easily fall for propaganda hook, line, and sinker. We doubt your claims of being a “lifetime GOP”.
If you think that we’re “extreme right”, it is because you’re actually on the far left. I get a lot of agreement from those who are center left as well as those who are center right. This is the case with others here.
Those that you identify as “targets” here are people who, unlike you, possess critical thinking abilities, who refuse to fall hook, line, and sinker for the same garbage that you fall for.
Response to MarineDad61, August 25, 2022, Part 3A
Wrong, we’re not firing “dung tipped arrows”, but cruise missiles of facts that destroy the house of cards BS that you throw around here like a monkey throwing its poop around. The fact that you’re not seeing what is obvious to the rest of us, that you have an abrasive attitude driven by excessive ego issues, is related to your assumption that “we’re protected”.
Yes, considering that this is a stolen valor site, about truth and honor, you should understand why we’d close ranks to destroy the cesspool that you call an “argument”. You speak of “truth” and “honor”, yet you demonstrate neither. The hypocrisy is on your part.
Response to MarineDad61, August 25, 2022, Part 4A
I destroyed you in that other debate, just as I destroyed you in the follow-on debate, while advancing a fact based, reasoned, logical argument against your emotion and ego-based opinions.
Notice how you failed to get me to post a certain way based on how you were towards me. My posting actions after that first argument had nothing to do with anything you did. In fact, the way you acted towards me only guaranteed that I would continue doing what you complained I was doing.
On top of that, you were less aggressive when we interacted against each other after that first argument. Despite your excessive ego, you knew that you would get your rear end handed to you.
Get down from your high horse. You don’t wield the impact on people on this website that you think you wield. Quit acting like a martyr and look in the mirror instead.
OK, one more time. It’s not what you say. It’s the fact that you’re a completely insufferable prick about it.
I’ll just leave this here… 😷

Just read all the comments from both sides. Heavy. Had my last front of my now red clown nose basil cell radiated this morning. Have to see the Doc in two months. Before I hit the recliner, I forgot to ask any of you Gals and Guys to maybe put me in for first for the WOT. Had a nice nappy poo and looking forward for live music at the Dreamy Cow ice cream place tonight. They also give a 10% discount for us Vets. During non Snow Bird season, Live music Thursday, Friday And Saturday nights. Tuesday nights re appear when the northen Snow Birds are here. Can’t wait to cut the rug tonoght and everyone and I mean everyone on the site have a nice weekend and let the raised blood pressure comments drift away until next week. See you later Alligator.
I sincerely hope none of my comments raise your blood pressure, especially as you’re recovering from radiation. It’s a crazy series of events all around, but not worth stressing about.
Take it easy, enjoy that ice cream, and relax knowing you got two months before heading back to the doc.
Thanks for the support LC and ninja. The radiation gizmo machine just shoots a beam of radiation for a number of seconds and thats it. I don’t feel any side effects at all. In and out within 10 to 15 minutes, and as far as the blood pressure thing goes, I just read the comments and hardly and don’t go into a heavy toe to toe with anyone because of my lack of political politics.
Enjoy the weekend
Thank You on the update on your basal cell situation, Jeff!
Enjoy your weekend!
😉😎
I think Commissioner and LC have eloped and are expecting.
Fingers crossed.
You mean Commissar.
I’m the Commissioner … and I ain’t involved in that.

As shared by Poe and I, if we all agree 100% on our thoughts and perspectives on anything, this Forum would be B.O.R.I.N.G!!

25Cents to go to the movies with 2 feature length movies, a three stooges short and cartoons. the soda machine used to drop the cup and you had to be fast to make sure it came down straight or you lost the soda pop.
That was good flick in HBO cable box days.
Military industrial complex exposed.
It should be noted that Donald Trump invites and entertains foreign officials and politically connected foreign rich people at this resort.
Including wealthy Chinese connected to the a Chinese government. And Putin aligned and loyal easter Europeans oligarchs.
Saudi royal family connected douchebags.
He had stolen and was storing boxes of classified information and after being found out and forced to return boxes of classified documents he still attempted to keep and hide additional information.
This was INTENTIONAL.
Any claim that he “declassified them first” is bullshit and misses the fucking point.
This information would do extremely grave harm to national security if compromised. Him “declassifying” them to protect himself from prosecution does not change how he INTENDED to comprise national security.
This is after he “unintentionally” leaked highly classified information to the Russians while in office.
For a few minutes I was wondering if you were going to tell your friends about TAH®™, but apparently you don’t have any.
Commissar:
Not sarcasm.
We may not agree with you, but we do enjoy reading your comments.
Keep Em Coming…

So… “walls are closing in”?
Odd, I thought that’d already happened….
Meanwhile Obama still has boxes of documents from the White House… Different strokes for different folks I guess. 😷
Hey, he only has 35 million pages.

If you know , you know.
Know how I’ve been hanging around Army milblogs far too much? I see what NDHoosier did there.
I hate it when that happens. ✈️

There, ol’ Poe fixed it for ya, Hoosier… 😜

Speaking of DMV issued car tags:

The perfect license plate for all the Delaware types
who mount a trailer hitch bike rack,
strap on 2 bikes
to intentionally hide / obstruct the license plate,
and run rampant on DE-1 (and new US301 upgrade)
and the neighboring state toll bridges and turnpikes,
all to CHEAT EZ-PASS.
Late to formation. Again.
Yesterday I took training so I can safely feed my brother ice chips. Went today and gave him some. Hit the gym for an hour then went to help a friend for a bit.
We do have rain in the AO – thank God.
Made some gumbo today – ate it for supper. Followed up with a slice of Mrs. GB’s home made apple cake.
Y’all have a great weekend.
