Apopka police officer charged with DUI in marked patrol car, police say

An Apopka police officer was charged with driving under the influence in his marked patrol car, police said.

The Eustis Police Department said it conducted a traffic stop on an officer who was driving recklessly on Monday evening.

Eustis officers said that when they pulled over the officer, later identified as Oscar Mayorga, they noticed an open beer can in the center cup holder.

They said that Mayorga was on his way to work and smelled of alcohol.

Officers requested Mayorga to get out of the car and walk to a nearby sidewalk. They said Mayorga was unable to maintain his balance and almost fell several times.

Mayorga told officers he had “three tall boys” a few hours before his shift.

Eustis officers said they arrested Mayorga for driving under the influence.

Once the Eustis Police Department had finished its investigation, members of the Apopka Police Department responded to the scene to recover the patrol car and Mayorga’s equipment, police said.

Mayorga was placed on administrative leave with pay.

The Apopka Police Department said Mayorga has been with the department for five years and is assigned to the uniform patrol division.

It said he was scheduled to work the evening of July 4 when Eustis police stopped him.

City of Orlando dumps on the 4th of July, then tries to walk it back

Tomorrow is Independence Day in the U.S., and leading up to the holiday many on the Left have been tripping all over each other to show everybody how much they hate the 4th of July. A couple of recent examples include the Pima County Dems in Arizona and their “F**k the 4th” flyer, and the Women’s March also kept it classy with a “#F**kThe4th” tweet. Hey, who needs to buy fireworks when we can just watch all the lefty head explosions every 4th of July?

But entire cities have been spotted getting in on the “we hate the 4th” action, as evidenced by a statement from the city of Orlando:

These people sound like a lot of fun:

“A lot of people probably don’t want to celebrate our nation right now, and we can’t blame them,” the original statement said, according to WESH-TV. “When there is so much division, hate and unrest, why on earth would you want to have a party celebrating any of it?”

“But in all seriousness, you know in your heart, Fourth of July fireworks are amazing, especially when you are standing in 90° heat, 100% humidity, next to 100,000 of your closest friends,” the statement continued. “In that moment, something takes over and we all become united in an inexplicable bond. Yes, America is in strife right now, but you know what…we already bought the fireworks.”

But wait, there’s more! The city then tried to reel that back in just a little bit:

Try not to get run over during this backpedal:

“The city of Orlando sincerely regrets the negative impact our words have had on some in our community. We understand these words offended some of our residents, which was not our intent. We value the freedoms we have in this country and are thankful to the men and women who fought and continue to fight for those. We take pride in celebrating the 4th of July to express our gratitude to those men and women and honor the country we live in.”

As you might have guessed, some on the Left preferred the original version:

Wild video shows three women trashing NYC restaurant Bel Fries and attacking workers over $1.75 sauce

Three women have been arrested and charged with robbery and criminal mischief after they were filmed destroying a New York City restaurant and attacking workers in a dispute over payment for extra fry sauce.

“They wanted extra sauce for the fries, and when we explained that it costs $1.75, they got upset. And that’s where it all started,” chef Rafael Nuñez of Bel Fries on the Lower East Side of Manhattan told Univision.

Mr Nuñez recorded video of part of the incident, which took place around 4am on 4 July.

Now, Pearl Ozoria, 27, Chitara Plasencia, 25, and Tatiyanna Johnson, 23, are all facing criminal charges. According to Univision, the three women destroyed computers, a cash register, and other items inside the restaurant. At least one worker reportedly went to the hospital to treat their injuries following the rampage.

The restaurant’s co-owner, who asked to withhold his name, told NBC4 that his six employees are so traumatised they do not want to return to work.

“They’re devastated. They’re afraid. One of them still doesn’t want to leave her home. She has a son. She fears for her life,” the co-owner said.

The employees had looked on as the three women trashed the restaurant, as shown on now-viral video.

One woman was seen hurling a can at the employees while the others climbed over the counter and launched bottles of sauce.

Two of the women were also seen twerking on the counter as they laughed and applauded their destruction.

Ms Ozoria, Ms Plasencia and Ms Johnson are slated to appear before a judge on Friday.

The Bowery Buggie reported that Bel Fries courted controversy in the midst of its opening in July 2020 by throwing a large party while New York City was still in the midst of a Covid-19 lockdown.

Stupid indeed. Two Police Officers will likely be looking for new jobs and deservedly so. Several “karens” should expect jail time for their actions, on video. Saw part of it, they really need some serious jail time.

Way to go and phuque up your careers there, officers. But there may be hope for you in Orlando. They seem to do stoopid sh^t there, so you should apply.

These “people” with their sense of entitlement need to be bitch slapped into the middle of next week…by someone that knows how. MLK Jr. weeps.

The city of orlando meant every word and if their wasn’t a back lash over it, those ass holes wouldn’t have back peddled it.

More media “drumbeat” on this… though essentially rehashing NYT story (the Party needs a left/libtard-rallying distraction before Nov and military-bashing serves, you know):

Saw the whole YouTube vid with Apopka Officer Stupid. Long and mostly boring, but holy crap he was hammered. In uniform, armed, in his patrol car, aaaaand… on his way to work no less! I believe he blew like a .291 or something like over an hour after his arrest.
