Active military members among those detained at underground Colorado nightclub
A multi-agency enforcement operation raided an unauthorized nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Over 200 people were at the “club” including 114 illegal aliens and some active-duty military members. Drugs, weapons, and prostitutes were also at the club during the bust. Mike Moon, the property owner containing the space being used as a club, said he had no idea what was happening in that space.
From ABC News:
Officials said among those that were detained were active-duty military members. DEA Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Pullen said that alleged members of gangs, including Tren de Aragua and MS-13, were present at the venue.
At approximately 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, officials conducted a “multi-agency enforcement operation” at what they called an underground nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division posted a video on X showing the operation underway on Sunday morning.
Of the hundreds of people inside the nightclub, at least 114 were migrants that DEA officials said were in the country illegally. They are now in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody.
Close to 300 people were inside the nightclub and 114 illegal migrants were taken into custody, with most from Central and South America, officials said.
“Drugs and weapons have also been seized at this underground nightclub,” the DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division said on X.
The operation was led by the DEA and involved around 10 federal agencies along with the local sheriff’s department, officials said. The investigation took several months and included undercover operations, officials said.
Hat tip to HT3 for mentioning this on the other thread.

Well, the Weekend Safety Brief this Friday is about to get longer. A lot longer.
Oh no!
Now everyone has to pay for the Hispanic privates from Fort Carson who were at that club. I friggin guarantee you all those active duty Soldiers were recent immigrants.
No kid born in America has the balls to go to a place like that.
I’m going to disagree. American born kids have been proven over again to have more balls than common sense. That said, more than half of those detained were in the country illegally so it seems likely that most at the club were from whatever culture the illegals were from.
Yup. I’m living proof of your first statement and I’m a 5th generation mick.
Some of the lads here seem to have lived somewhat sheltered lives.
On the video I watched it looks like a white boy with a security vest sitting on the ground.
Get ready to squeal like a pig, boy.
Tiajuana ring any bells?
Tell that to the Caucasian Marine PFC that went to TJ and drove back a stolen car packed with meth. He obviously had the balls to go into a bar across the border when he spoke no Spanish. ASVAB waivers do what ASVAB Cat 4s do
The safety briefings (beatings) will continue daily until moral improves or even the most dense private/2nd LT gets it through their thick skulls that if this shit continues, the next safety briefing will begin at 6am Saturday morning, and will be at least an 8 hr event.
Don’t make any plans.
And, after that briefing, another one concerning the ‘101 Critical Days of Summer.’
Let’s toss in some seal training too for reinforcement after 8 hrs of power point training. Hell, when they take breaks, a little pt between classes give by the power point presenter who had to give up his Saturday for all this
He will be so happy.
Hope the area commander updates the off-limits list.
After this, anything but your home, gas station, grocery store and Walmart will be off limits.
Were they putting in the rough at their fantasy club?

Piss test tomorrow!
Also, kinda curious as to the quality of some these AD personnel…..
“Mike Moon, the property owner containing the space being used as a club, said he had no idea what was happening in that space.”
To paraphrase Monty Python;
Everyone who believes that stand upside down with your head in a bucket of piranha fish…
Oh oh.
Someone said fish and Monty Python in the same sentence.
Convince me they were not figuring out ways to get those drugs on base to dependent kids and fat wives looking to lose weight …….. oh you cant.
I see court martials forthcoming…
JAG just called for reinforcements in trial defense.
Seems the defense attorneys will just be needed to help dot the i’s and cross the T’s, and ensure they are properly herded into jail.
114 down…several millions to go. Gonna take awhile to get them all at this rate.
We have been trying to get our Congress critters to stop acting like a horses ass since 1792. Don’t think is going to change any time soon.
Also, this happened not too far from where I live. I wasn’t even aware of the club’s existence. Glad the DEA shut it down. As in a previous post, I see Leavenworth in those service members’ futures. Not only were they engaged in an illegal enterprise, but they were also engaged commercially with groups the Federal government declared terrorist organizations (MS-13 and TdA). That amount of illegal gangbangers in one club? No, way did they not have business in there and the service members were involved. And that is a major national security risk.
I’m sure there will be a lot of singing canaries, and some of the Active Duty Service Members may be happy their sentences will be fulfilled at a different institution.
Story said some of them worked at the club and some were patrons. CID was on hand so they knew who they were!
Much like Jeffrey Epstein recording everyone of his “personal friends” indulging at the “all you can eat buffet”, you can bet your bottom peso that the guys running the club have incriminating video of the GI’s “scuffing their Corfam shoes”. And no reputable gang member would use that video to coerce an active duty service member to supply them highly sensitive military equipment.
Called it. Looks like there will be an open seat at this year’s Army Ball at Fort Carson.

Wait…wait…wait…. Military members and prostitutes were discovered in the same place?
Now I need to go lay down
If they were Marines all the booze would be gone and the club would have shut down early.
All the furniture would be trashed
Every single hooker would be carrying a future class A dependent in their belly.
What’s new? I am pretty sure some of the places I patronized while in the Army in Columbus and Phenix City had their share of drugs and weapons on the premises.
And there were a few bars in JAX frequented by sailors where the presence of drugs and weapons was not unusual.
And as I recall, Court Street in J-ville NC was a hot bed of clean and upstanding citizenry…
Something like that.
The DoJ’s story is all over the place.
They claim the active duty folks were armed guards, or patrons. Which? Both?
They also claim this club was a hangout for MS13, Tren de Aragua, and Hell’s Angels all at the same time? What is this place the UN of gang activity?
I will wait for what they are willing to submit as evidence and testimony in court, or which plea convictions they get.
The Trump DoJ is doing a lot of performative bullshit. Much of it is political stunts and propaganda..
Used to be if you signed up, went to war and had an Honorable Discharge, citizenship was somewhat included if you got off your ass and did the paperwork.
This is not about Trump. Its about Turds and Shitbags getting over and having some weak ass leadership at the Company level.
Not that this is ground breaking news for anyone around here but you have a serious reading comprehension problem and a bad case of TDS.
Yeah, the Trump Administration DoJ is the one that was politicized! SMDH!
Try to do better!
Just like your posts huh?
I remember back in 1996, the Army had a big push to identify gang activity in the ranks. We had classes on identifying gang tattoos and such. It seems gang bangers were joining the military to get training on weapons, tactics, establish means to steal gear like NVGs, etc, etc. Nothing new here.
The Masons. Not tattoo, just the ring.
Oh, the Masons were apparently a socialy acceptable gang. Are they still around?
“The Ring”. AKA “The get out of jail free” ring. I saw it make a DUI go away in Germany.
The Masons take care of their own. It is a brotherhood after all. Sorta like the WPPA, aka the ring knockers.
Yep.
These troops obviously have too much free time on their hands. Implement School of the Soldier. on Saturday / Sunday.
0600 pt formation with in ranks inspection
0800 CLASS A standby in barracks
1000 TA50 layout.
1130 lunch
1230 BDU IN RANKS with weapon and ruck sack packed per SOP
1330 12 mile road march
1600 police call BN area
1700 supper
1800 to 2359 night land nav followed by weapons maintenance
Tell them they can sleep when they’re dead.
“You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.”
Obi-Wan Kenobi
This shit right here, is what caused all to have to get, and/or give a damn safety briefing every DAMN time we left post!!!
While military service is admired, respected and usually honorable, not all Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen (and whatever the hell we call Space Force guys), use their brains!!!!
Blaster, the correct nickname for people currently in the Space Force are “Guardians”.
And did you know that the Space Force has ripped off the Army for a nickname for their first three enlisted ranks?
They are known as Specialist One, Specialist Two and Specialist Three, ergo Spec 1, Spec 2, Spec 3.
So much for originality. /s/
E1 through E3 lack the knowledge to be any kind of “Specialist”.
Mix a illegal club with illegals and you get a recipe for a repeat of the Happy Land club fire.
Or the Cocoanut Grove.
