Biden makes SCOTUS Justice choice – Literally a Brown woman

President Biden has stuck with his campaign pledge of choosing a brown woman to serve on the Supreme Court, in this case very literally. Judge Ketanji Brown, who as a DC trial judge as recently as last week got overturned unanimously by a panel of the DC Appeals Court for a 2020 decision. Ironically, the DC Court of Appeals is where Judge Brown currently serves, after narrowly being confirmed last year.
Breitbart goes over her qualifications (she has almost none) while National Review takes a look at her overturned case. NR does not have any good things to say about her writing style;
Typical of her writing, Jackson’s opinion has clunky verbiage (e.g., “Whiteru engaged with the wall…”), clumsy images (“the causation clock”), and mischosen words (a person who is “prostrate” is not “on his back”; an escalator “in stationary mode”). And it’s verbose: more than twice as long as the D.C. Circuit’s opinion.
My favorite is the escalator “in stationary mode.” Most would call those stairs.
It appears Biden has found someone dumber than him to nominate. That took some work.

…Or, perhaps the nomination is so bad for a reason… follow the squirrel logic: Biden has to make good on campaign promise, but really it’s about proving Democrats good, Republicans bad. So he appoints someone that is a very poor choice, yet still fulfills his campaign promise. That way, when the nomination is killed by the Senate, since the person is woefully unqualified (likely with significant pressure from the Republican side), he can sadly shake his head and say, sorry those racist Republicans are evil. Generates anger at the Republicans right before mid terms and then later he pushes through someone else that is more competent.

I find it truly ironic that the first case she’ll be sitting on is looking like it will strike down Affirmative Action…
She should disqualify herself, as she is on a board at Harvard, which is a party to that case.
