General Milley defends China calls as “perfectly acceptable”

| September 17, 2021

General Milley described his calls to his Chinese phone counterpart as well within the duties and responsibilities of his job. These calls, according to the general, were needed to ensure strategic stability. He is due to testify before Congress regarding these phone calls. Milley stated that he will be more detailed during his interactions with members of Congress.

From the American Military News:

“I think it’s best that I reserve my comments on the record until I do that in front of the lawmakers who have the lawful responsibility to oversee the U.S. military,” Milley said. “I’ll go into any level of detail Congress wants to go into in a couple of weeks.”

According to excerpts first revealed Tuesday from the forthcoming book entitled “Peril,” as reported by the Washington Post, the first phone call took place on Oct. 30, 2020, just four days before the presidential election between then-President Donald Trump and Joe Biden. The second call took place on Jan. 8, 2021, two days after the storming of the United States Capitol.

“General Li, I want to assure you that the American government is stable and everything is going to be okay,” Milley told the People’s Liberation Army general. “We are not going to attack or conduct any kinetic operations against you.”

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time,” Milley added. “It’s not going to be a surprise.”

After a number of lawmakers called for Milley to resign or be fired in the wake of the reports, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Wednesday that “the president has complete confidence in [Milley’s] leadership, his patriotism, and his fidelity to our Constitution.”

President Biden later told reporters that he has “great confidence in Gen. Milley.”

I would disagree. I think Gen Patten was…a….OH! YOU said “POS”, not “asshole”. My bad. You’re right, Gen Gump is the biggest POS to wear four stars. General Patton at least knew how to win wars.

Definitely (as updated for the modern era):

Hey, this just in, Milley and progressive left/liberal trans-wierdo Rachel Levine were high school buddies and played on their football team together. How’s that for interesting?

Did not see that coming.

Uh huh……suuuuure……It’s ok for General Gump to talk to his Chinese counterpoint and tell him, “all is well, we’ll call you if PDJT decides to launch”…….but it’s NOT ok for PDJT to call an East European PM, and offer congratulations on winning an election.
Have I got that right?

Yes, exactly right per the MSM and Progs everywhere. See Milley’s call is not improper cuz he didn’t mention any Bidens or their questionable activities, he only mentioned Trump and implied he is crazy and might launch nukes on China.

Like it’s “non-partisan” for leftwingers to set fire to a church, but “partisan” for Trump to criticize sitting fire to a church…

*shrug* Guess explaining one’s deeds and words to Congress are the thing’s that happen when one calls China for something other than Take-out. What a putz..

The news media that mentions Vanilley Milley’s actions, as reported by lying Woodward, are ignoring Milley’s conduct with the other generals and only mentioning the phone calls. Milley, who is not in the chain of command for the Army or DOD, basically seized control of the military and acted as though he was now a military dictator. He essentially said Trump is crazy and unpredictable so I am taking command of our forces; and you will all give me an oath of fealty, with an implied “or else.” Apparently none of the flag officers in the room dissented. If true, this says a great deal about the O-6’s and above running the Pentagon. If Trump is elected in 2024, it seems likely that we could face a for real military coup in January 2025. Since the D-rats, the MSM, and the Deep State will likely support it, it could be the end of our nation as a representative republic.

Take this motherfucker out and HANG HIM, after a fair and just courts marshal first, of course, then let’s see some shitbag usurp power here in Fucking AMERICA!!!
These Politicos need to be taken out and fucking SHOT in the GENITALS, then in the head. ON LIVE TEE VEE!!!
I’d throw a few dollars into the pot for Pay Per View.
Of course, the sad reality is NOTHING is going to happen and no one is going to swing. Ever.
I weep for this Republic.
I *know* I’m not the only one that wants to take these imbedded political bottom feeders out and line them up on the Capital lawn.

Fyrfighter

Don’t forget the flag officers who gave him that promise of fealty. They are just as guilty

He’s not worried about President Dementia relieving him. All he has to do is hold up a picture of ice cream to distract his Joe.

Like I said, zero accountability and zero consequences for this man. Same goes for the SecDef and others at the top.

Who in the hell, wants any part of following this current bunch of jackasses posing as leadership?

Milley testifying before Congress? What a fucking joke. It’s all a side sow. Politicians don’t give a rats ass. If he does testify, nothing will come of it. Fauci lied in his own testimony months ago and he hasn’t been held accountable.

Congressional or Senate hearings are a joke. Nothing will come of this.

When asked about firing MacArthur, Truman had this to say:

“I fired him because he wouldn’t respect the authority of the president. I didn’t fire him because he was a dumb son of a bitch, although he was one, but that’s not against the law for generals.”

This clown certainly is a dumb son of a bitch, and without a shred of honor. I wouldn’t follow him to the latrine, he wouldn’t know which one to use.

Unfortunately that applies to about the last 20 years worth of worthless lying generals telling everyone how we’re “making good progress” in Afghanistan. Dumb, dishonorable, and caring for nothing more than their post retirement sinecures on Defense contractor boards or lobbying firms, and getting their faces on garbage TV shows like Rick Maddow or Anderson Pooper.

The general should be relieved immediately. Loss of confidence in his ability to command.

Assuming this quote is accurate.

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time,” Milley added. “It’s not going to be a surprise.”

I and every rank and file military member should have zero confidence in him as he has just offered to put every combat crew member of STRATCOM at risk. How he still has a security clearance is beyond me.

He should execute a Mike Boorda before the weekend is up

CDR D

>>>He should execute a Mike Boorda before the weekend is up.<<<

Gasbag Milley doesn't have a fraction of the honor Mike Boorda had. Boorda humiliated himself and took his own life for it.

Milley, inter alia, have humiliated our country before the entire world, and they are good with it.

Maybe instead of becoming a “Flagged Officer” he should have become a “Fragged Officer”? Asking for a friend.

Interesting proposal. Is there a gofundme?
