Security Guard Shoots Man Who Pulled Gun When Asked To Pay For Snacks At West Englewood Gas Station
A shootout over snacks in a West Englewood gas station sent one man to the hospital early Saturday morning.
Chicago police say around midnight, a 40-year-old man went into a Clark station in the 6100 block of South Ashland Avenue and began eating things without paying.
When the 58-year-old security guard on duty told him to pay, that man pulled out a gun instead.
The security guard then drew his own gun and fired, hitting the man in the abdomen.

As many outlets are reporting, Lightfoot has tons of vacancies in the Chicago government because people are leaving after her abusive behavior and childish antics.
She will hide behind the idea that she fits into two “protected classes” of people and has already said that people criticizing her are racists and homophobic.
She is playing two cards to cover up her actions. Wonder how long voters will put up with her?
(Then again, look at the Mosbys in Baltimore….they BOTH got re-elected after charges of corruption and failure to pay taxes.)
In my little town, the new Mayor is a former Marine, and ran on the basis if “you can trust a Marine.” He has not kept a single campaign promise, bought the votes of the police, and is involved in scandal over purchasing within the city.
