Homeowner shot at intruder who got stuck in their driveway, entered home

FRENCHVILLE, Pa. (WTAJ) — A woman is accused of entering a home overnight in Clearfield County after she got her car stuck in the driveway leading to the homeowner shooting at her.

According to the report, a woman had attempted to turn around in the homeowner’s driveway just before 2 a.m. on Jan. 11 and got stuck in the snow. The suspect then walked onto the porch and into the home on Buck Run Road. The homeowner was asleep on the second floor when she was awoken by a noise downstairs.

By Gigi Graciette and Kelli Johnson
LOS ANGELES – A homicide investigation was underway after shots rang out in a quiet San Fernando Valley neighborhood on Thursday morning, police said.

The Los Angeles Police Department said they began receiving multiple 911 calls from neighbors just before 5:30 a.m.

A “Democracy” is two wolves and a lamb voting what’s for lunch. A “Republic” is two hundred wolves and one hundred lambs electing two wolves and one lamb to vote what’s for lunch. A “Constitutional Republic” is the same two hundred wolves and one hundred lambs electing two wolves and one lamb to vote what’s for lunch, where a Constitution guarantees that lamb is off the menu. Eventually, the Supreme Court votes 5 wolves to 4 lambs that mutton is not the same as lamb. “Freedom” is two hungry wolves encountering a well-armed sheep.

If you gonna keep a weapon in the car, keep another one in the house…just for those nocturnal visitors. And that graze thing? That’s what cows do in a grassy field.

“What are you doing in our ‘hood?” Perp pulls piece. “What’s it to you?” BAM! “It’s a quiet ‘hood, we want to keep it that way!”

The cost and scarcity of .22 rounds is putting a crimp on the plinking/nail driving business. Remember when .22 and High Standards were inexpensive, affordable, and readily available? Pepperidge Farms Remembers.

In a world full of unarmed sheep, surrounded by hungry wolves, be a sheepdog. “Morning Ralph.” “Morning Sam.”

Back to the little big town again. That project is almost done. Might try Jeneane’s today.

The way the Pennsylvania story opened, I was feeling sorry for the lady who got stuck in someone’s driveway at two am (thinking she ran up on the porch and got greeted with a pistol). Then I read “in the living room.” Nope.

Yeah. Neighborliness is one thing. Breaking into a house at 2am is NOT neighborly, stuck or not.

Not to mention, arguing with the neighbor when she asks you to leave, fighting her, chasing her outside when she leaves and trying to attack her again… of course the neighbor did the right thing and gave her a proper greeting and a free parting gift (made of lead or copper).
Sounds like the neighbor needs to work on their shot placement and stored weapon placement!

That bit about the two wolves and a lamb is excellent, and well worth stealing (shhhhh). It reminds me of the bit about the farmer, his cows, and the various forms of Gooberment (democracy, socialism, fascism, etc)
