Iran Accidentally Sinks Fake U.S. Aircraft Carrier

Oops. There’s more.

Iran accidentally blocks own naval port by sinking fake US carrier in wrong place

Mock US naval carrier sinks in shallow water at entrance to Iran’s main naval port, presenting danger to any ship which passes over it.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGC-N) accidentally sank a fake U.S. aircraft carrier that it uses during training exercises in what they believe is an effective way to prepare for a potential face off with the U.S. Navy — by far the most powerful naval force in the world.

“The stricken carrier can be seen, capsized, in commercial satellite imagery,” Forbes reported. “It began to sink when it was being towed back to Bandar Abbas after being attacked.” After reportedly beginning to list “steeply to one side” on July 31, with “half of the flight deck submerged,” the boat has since sunk further.

Iran sought a propaganda victory by constructing by attacking a fake American aircraft carrier during war games, but instead has harmed its own navy’s ability to function.

The fake aircraft carrier, which was actually a barge mocked up to look like an US navy vessel, was accidentally sunk, according to images shared by Aurora Intel and taken by the PLEIADES satellites.

“The stricken carrier can be seen, capsized, in commercial satellite imagery,” Forbes reported. “It began to sink when it was being towed back to Bandar Abbas after being attacked.” The vessel began to list “steeply to one side” on July 31, with “half of the flight deck submerged,” and has reportedly sunk even further since then.

Nicely done. Read the rest here: Israel National News

Thanks Mick.

This is what happens when your contract goes to All-Points Logistics.

When you hear Phil Monkress (CEO of All-Points Logistics) claim he in a Navy SEAL, Native American and Law Enforcement Officer you think “Damn, I just hit the jackpot. And the bid was so low! I just cannot pass it up”.

Well, in reality, things like this happen.

    • Hack Stone says:

Are you saying that Phil Monkress of All Points Logistics ship has come in?

      • Green Thumb says:

        I do not know.

Hard to tell as he will not come out of his office due to possible questions concerning clarification of his Native American, Law Enforcement and Navy SEAL claims.

I am surprised All-Points Logistics his not shown his sorry ass to the door.

        Protest denied!

    • Sparks says:

I wondered if there was a connection. The outcome being so obviously APL.

      • Green Thumb says:

I was also thinking that maybe All-Points Logistics could round up some of their posers, er, I mean,..”technical experts” and send them over to act as OPFOR and / or provide logistical support for / on the Iranians next interaction.

The Iranians I doubt would be able to figure it out with the amount of bullshit artists about to come there way. Hell, Jay Cryer could swim to shore, Ranger Stephen Cio Burrell would be a tough out fighting and leading a platoon of “SEALS” on the deck, Heavy Chevy could be used to simulate a an object picked up by a bird, etc.

What was the name of the Marine Reservist who had his face reconfigured at the White Castle while trying to score some dope? It’s been some time since we had an update on him. Word on the street is that he scored a position as Executive Assistant to Hunter Biden.

  2. KoB says:

Wondered what happened to my termite farm.

Maybe they shoulda used “Marine Plywood!”

  3. Doc Savage says:

Heh……thats gonna be a bit of an aquatic speed bump for the Iranian Navy. 🙂

Wow, they really showed us /sarc

  6. The ship was a model and the pics were taken by Aurora Intel. Any of you 1950’s guys/gals remember building Aurora plastic cars, ships and plane kits using testors glue?????

    • Graybeard says:

I bought (or my folks did) many a WWII fighter plane kit (and a few of the car kits)

Had a sub once in there too.

My cousin had me beat. He had a to-scale WWII bomber – I think a B-17? – that made my little fighters look puny.

I miss the quality of those kits. The modern versions I’ve seen are inferior.

      • Graybeard the quality and building supplies is even better these days actually, I’ve been building kits since 1960, I’m a graybeard also. BUT it is not a cheap hobby anymore either and the level of detailing and painting has gone to a whole other level

    • I remember building kits of Dracula, Frankenstein, wolfman, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon also the USS Nautilus as well as the Gemini space capsule from Aurora and many kits from Airfix, Revell, Monogram, and Lindberg, most modern kits are from Tamiya, Fugimi, Hasegawa, Italeri or Hobby boss, I still build models, it’s relaxing.

      • rgr1480 says:

Me too!!!! That was around 1963; also bought Fangoria Magazine then ( or was that “Famous Monsters of Filmland”??) I think that was the magazine’s name .. also bought my first MAD Magazine about that time.

    • rgr769 says:

Never did any of the ship models. But I built quite a few planes and some cool model cars. My best was a candy apple red ‘40 Ford five window coupe.

  10. Are there Home Depots in Iran.?????????

    • Hack Stone says:

No, but the do have The Home Despot. You can always head over to their parking lot every morning and pick up some day suicide bombers.

      • Hondo says:

If ANTIFA and BLM’s hardcore Marxist leadership get their way, we’ll have Home Despots here, too.

  14. Ex-PH2 says:

So it’s okay to drive a riverine jet boat up and down the Persian Gulf now?

    Just askin’ for a friend.

  15. CCO says:

Well, the Brits have them beat for awkward wrecks: the SS Richard Montgomery still clutters the Thames estuary; see

(And since she had an American crew, I guess we get an assist on that.)

  16. Poetrooper says:

And yet our treacherous and traitorous left-wing media periodically tries to convince the American public that these clowns are a very real and deadly threat to American Naval Forces.

The American mainstream media are the equivalent of the Revolutionary Guards: all hot air and bluster with nothing to back it up but lies, lies and more lies.

  17. Hack Stone says:

Hack Stone has a theory about this. Some mid grade Iranian Republican Guard Navy type guys decided that it would be in their best interest not to poke the bear 90 days out from an election, so they inadvertently sunk this vessel blocking their ships from leaving port, so although really really want to throw down with The Great Satan, they just won’t be able to this week. Maybe the saw the video of Garret Foster with his “pussy” statement, and they are not up to experiencing some Texas Karma.

  19. Ex Coelis says:

I think the international military community ought to genuinely thank Iran for showing the entire world how hopelessly and hilariously inept the Iranian military truly is. Keep up the Great work guys – you’ve managed to prove to the entire world (yet again!) that Iran’s so-called ‘navy’ is just a joke without a punchline. No doubt Israel is doing it’s utmost just to try and keep a straight face…

The ultimate in aikido, Israel/Mossad didn’t have to lift a finger.

This made me smile far more than it should have I suspect.

Now that they are bottled up in their harbor perhaps it’s time for Praying Mantis 2.0 and a little further cleanup of excess tonnage of shipping possessed by the Iranians….

  21. RetiredDevilDoc8404 says:

The Not Ready For Prime Time Sailors… this is what happens when you have the Iranian version of the Three Stooges building and moving your naval training aids as well as running your military. Now would be a great time to run the mother of all SINKEXes on their Bass Pro Shop Navy and put them in row boats…
