Fatal Calhoun County shooting under investigation

CLARKSVILLE, Fla. (WMBB) — Investigators are trying to determine if Calhoun County man acted in self-defense when he shot and killed his uncle over the weekend.Calhoun County Sheriff’s investigators say 43-year-old Jonathan Maybin shot and killed Steven Shiver after multiple confrontations.
Authorities say Maybin called twice before the shooting to ask for a trespass warning against Shiver. The third time he called, he let deputies know he shot Shiver, according to a news release from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Maybin claims Shiver tried to drag him out of his truck and take away his gun, the news release states.

Deputies investigate after homeowner shoots, kills uninvited visitor in Lancaster County
INDIAN LAND, S.C. (WBTV) – Deputies are investigating a shooting death after a homeowner fatally shot an uninvited visitor in Lancaster County over the weekend.
Deputies responded to a burglary call around 3:30 a.m. Sunday at a home on Fox Ridge Lane in Indian Land.
Officers said a 37-year-old man drove to the residence uninvited where his ex-girlfriend was visiting.
Deputies said the 37-year-old man, identified as Anastasio Kroustalis, from Matthews, NC, upset that the woman was there.
The homeowner, a 40-year-old man, allowed Kroustalis to come inside to the downstairs kitchen.
The homeowner went upstairs to talk with the woman, who was in a walk-in closet in the master bedroom suite.
Soon after, Kroustalis made his way upstairs and confronted the homeowner and the woman at the closet door.

4 injured in shooting at Dallas sports bar after men not allowed in due to COVID-19 restrictions

DALLAS – Dallas police said three men were shot and a woman was hit by shrapnel when someone opened fire outside a sports bar in North Oak Cliff Saturday night.The shooter was reportedly among three men who were turned away from Harris House of Heroes II sports bar, just before midnight, because the establishment was at full capacity.
In May, a Dallas fire marshal shut down the crowded Harris House of Heroes location off McKinney Avenue after a disagreement over whether it should be classified as a bar or restaurant.
Last month, the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission suspended the license for the other Harris House of Heroes location for 30 days.

I have a water purifier under the sink that I have changed every 18 months due to my place is close to the water plant and the stuff that is put in is a little strong when it reaches my place. I googled filters VS purifiers before and found out that my purifier filters out minerals that the body needs unless it has a re mineralizer in it which I don’t know if it has one.

A Libertarian Facebook page is upset with the untimely demise of the late Garrett Foster (Say his name! Dumbass!). They claim him as a member. Of course, they spin it as he was minding his own business pushing his paraplegic girlfriend in her wheelchair when he was gunned down for no legitimate reason.

It is places like Texas that remind me why gun control works. While the disgruntled patron was refused entry and decided to do the Un-American thing and get his gun from the car and shoot the place up… when he decided that wasn’t enough and attempted to become a mass murderer by going around back…he was met by several!!!! Armed Patrons who returned fire and he fled like the “bully” he was and showed he was a small furry cat!!!
Hopefully the police catch up to him, but in all likelihood he will be found in some back alley or dark place having shot himself after a failed run at the “high score” on (random violent video game name).
If Heroes was is posted with a 51% sign, meaning it derives more than half its revenue from alcohol, the folks in the bar carrying guns were all breaking the law. Texas is not as wide open as many people think – its gun laws are somewhat restrictive.
