Jonathan Lopez – Another Racist Narrative
This is a very strange story with several twists.
Jonathan Lopez, 29 y/o, a fairly new resident of Umatilla County Oregan was recently running for County Commissioner. According to several news sources, Lopez received a letter full of racist and homophobic slurs saying he was not welcome.

Lopez nobly stated that he had no resentment toward the person who wrote the letter.
Well, of course he didn’t hold any resentment toward the person since he wrote it himself.

A racist letter that recent Umatilla County commissioner candidate Jonathan Lopez claimed was left anonymously in his mailbox was written by Lopez himself, according to Lopez and Hermiston Police Chief Jason Edmiston.
On Monday, July 6, Edmiston said in an email that Lopez had confessed that he wrote the letter. Edmiston said the case would be forwarded to the Umatilla County District Attorney’s office for review for initiating a false report, a Class A misdemeanor in Oregon.

Lopez had previously posted a photo of a typed letter full of racist, homophobic and misogynist slurs to Facebook, stating that he had received the letter but that he had “no resentment for whomever wrote this.”
The letter, as shown in the photo, stated in part that Lopez and other “Mexicans” were “not welcome here” and that “America is for the God fearing, pro gun, pro life humans who refuse to be controlled by the government.”
Lopez initially stated that it was a big misunderstanding. He said he just meant to speak with Edmiston about racism in Umatilla County and use the letter as an example of the type of racism people experience, but often don’t speak out about publicly.
“I never meant to file a report, it just kind of spiraled out,” he said.
He also said he “never meant to mislead” the public.
Lopez’s Facebook page has since been deleted.
But, he went on to claim that he served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

In his post, Jonathan writes about the experience of receiving the letter and his background as a person. Jonathan states, “Many don’t know me or who I am and where I stand. As an American born man who served in the USCG, fire and rescue services. I’m also proud of where my parents and grandparents were born and raised, Mexico. I have lived a life full of obstacles and challenges Including racism. There is no room or tolerance of that.”
The DoD Manpower Data Center / SCRA does not show any active military service for Lopez but he could have been in the Reserves. Also, other than Los Angeles CA and New York NY, his prior address history does not support living near any Coast Guard bases, but it is possible.

Additionally, the Hermiston Police are sending the Office of the District Attorney verifiable information of potential election fraud as it pertains to the Stolen Valor Act of 2013 and other false credentials presented by Mr. Lopez during his run for county commissioner. This in conjunction with a lengthy criminal history record may result in the filing of additional charges.
Fear not, Jonathan, if they pursue charges you can always claim you are being persecuted because you are a minority. Only in America!

He just wanted to start a dialogue. Racism is so rampant in America that people need to manufacture false flag attacks to draw attention to this racism and oppression. He is running for office in the liberal enclave of Northwest America, where Republican opposition is somewhere between minimal and none, but he needs something to set him apart from all of the other homosexual minority candidates. Is he even gay, or was he just trying to win the endorsement of the Velvet Mafia.
Speaking of racist attacks with questionable details, has there been any update on the Madison Wisconsin attack on biracial teenager Althea Bernstein? Four “classic white frat boys” attacked her with lighter fluid at 01:00. She was probably on her way back from Subway when it happened.
Latest actual update of substance seems to be 6 or 7 days ago. There are later items that show up in an Internet search, but these later items appear to be nothing but re-publications/rehashes of the original reports.
Hack Stone is quite confident that Ms. Bernstein’s claim of being attacked by four white frat boys are entirely credible and are not the result of her being burned in the attempted arson of the government building several blocks away from the alleged incident. And with The FBI on the case, they should have no problem with finding traces a flame accelerant and fire damage on her driver’s side door, driver’s seat, and seat belt. Hack Stone does not want to live in a world where a biracial woman cannot peacefully drive down the street at 1:00 AM during a riot and not face assault by white frat boys.

I carry a beat up, old USMC squadron Zippo every day as a part of my EDC kit. I also used to carry it all the time as part of my survival gear when I was flying in the Marine Corps.
I don’t smoke, but I use that Zippo all the time. Never fails to light, regardless of conditions.
Still get chemical burns on my thigh every once in while, too, when I carry it in my pants pocket after I’ve accidentally overfilled it with lighter fluid.

I’ve got a friend that lives in that county, and it’s actually fairly conservative, unlike the bigger cities in Oregon (the fact that Pendelton Roundup is held in the middle of the county may have something to do with that..)

I actually live in the town of Umatilla which is in Umatilla county. The east side of Orgeon, SE side of Washington are conservative farming communities. I work in Pasco WA and it is conservative as well. Seattle and Portland have the concentrated population of liberals.

I will include this to tell you about them folk. They are so racist they have invited the local Indian tribes to the Pendleton Round-Up every year since the very first rodeo held in the early 1900’s. They look forward to it and they have a whole arena, Happy Canyon, to show their history and way of life.
And it gets even better: per the 2010 census, nearly 24% of the county’s population is of Latino or Hispanic origin, too.

Let Hack be the first to call that what actually happened was that the boyfriend was acting recklessly with his firearm and either intentionally or accidentally shot his girlfriend, then concocted the entire story to cover his ass. Or, it could possibly be that he romancing his sweetheart by taking her for a stroll along the canals of Indianapolis at 03:00. If this catches on, Indianapolis can replace Venice for honeymooners.

Recently retired Coastie here. It’s totally possible that this guy (Lopez) somehow spent his entire career in the USCGR without ever going on long term (>90 day) active duty orders (ADOS/ADSW orders) and thus would not show up on the DOD Manpower/SCRA website or receive a DD-214. Initial active duty orders for basic training and the short term ADOS orders that reservists get for their annual 2 weeks/year would not show up on SCRA or qualify for a 214.
With all of this said and having played the devil’s advocate, a few thoughts: this guy would have to be a real shitbag to have done time in the reserves without ever going on 90+ day orders. The USCGR is routinely activated and literally every reservist has had the opportunity over the last decade to go on Title 10 or Title 14 AD orders, from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010 to the yearly hurricane responses. If he isn’t lying, he had a pretty lame career. Furthermore, he should still have proof he was a reservist, even if it isn’t a DD-214, and so should the USCG. I’ve read a few articles today, dated two weeks ago, from local news sites in Umatilla County (Oregon) stating that the police firmly believe he lied about serving at all and can’t find any evidence of his reserve time. So I guess this guy joins the rarified air of the “Coast Guard Poser Club”.
